have a heart kobo. people are dying and you are indifferent to their feelings. can you beat a child and stop the child from crying at the same time? people feel pain and are expressing it daily b/c the pain is daily. haba.

have a heart. your statements are so insensitive (and i'm being polite) to the feelings of those directly affected by this terrible mistake of bush.

people's children are dying and bush's daughter is marrying.(not suggesting she should not b4 kobo use me for lunch grin ) but people have feelings and must express it

I agree that most Iraqis think the US should leave now but they also think the removal of Saddam in the first place was worth it.
have you heard of something called cost-benefit analysis? go figure.

about staying alive, saddam was a terror. but even the shias today know that irak was better and more secure under saddam than today. today in their country violence is normal. it is chaotic. how can you know their country better than them.
they want the americans out,
the rest of the world wants the americans out.
the british want them out(and have started pulling out themselves.
the un did not legalise the war,
the war is unpopular in america, uk, europe, etc

only bush and co, israel, blair and co, kobo and 4play and co want this war. he he he hee  eh eh ehe grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Blame It On Congress: Not Bush by otele(m): 6:42pm On May 30, 2008
recent evidence by scott McClellan shows the whole irak war build up was a deception.

so who do we blame? kobo or 4play?

Saying that lives are being lost in Iraq is as intellectually illuminating as saying that cancer kills people.Between 1980 and 2003,at least 1million people died in Iraq whether through wars or sanctions(that is a major underestimate)

I have always noted this point, every single poll of Iraqis conducted since 2003,bar one,has shown that a plurality of Iraqis think the overthrow of Saddam is worth it.It could be that there are non-Iraqis here who love Iraq more than the Iraqi people, human emotion is a strange thing, but we should never discount the opinion of the people most affected.

One might say that nothing justifies the colossal loss of lives US troops have sustained but those same troops voted in huge numbers for Bush against John Kerry in 2004,just as they did earlier in 2000 against Gore.

So between Iraqis who think the removal of Saddam is worth it and US military personnel who exercise their rights by voting Bush overwhelmingly, what is the fuss about?
a plurality of iraqis think the US troops are occupiers who should leave their country.

also A plurality of nigerians think the PDP should be removed . do we want an iraqi style situation to get the PDP or even abacha out . . .NO.

Under saddam, most iraqis knew how to be alive. lie low, no dissent, etc. today bomb can explode anytime, anyday, anywhere and you think they are happy. Haba.

after we say govt is the problem.

. . . . undecided . . . i remember casius told brutus . .''the problem with us, o brutus, is not in our stars, but in us''

everything negative about nigeria may actually be in nigerians themselves and not just govt. afterall the govt is a reflection of the general population cool

Kobojunkie:
Demanding compensation when we are not compensated for the same within our own shores is hypocritical, to say the least. Demanding the government of SA apologize to our people when our own government does not even consider us humans is another hypocritical aspect of the argument that Nigerians should be treated like kings and queens.
i agree embarassed
PoliticsRe: N/A by otele(m): 5:40pm On May 29, 2008
she is a sore looser.
her supporters are either stupid or racist or actually republicans who want to see chaos in the democrat party

her husband is nueurologic
her campaign is pathethic
her method is disgusting

she is demonic and if obama picks her as a VP obama can as well write his will b/c she will enter the oval office without winning an election.

i'll rather obama picks dick chenney instead of hillary
PoliticsRe: N/A by otele(m): 5:33pm On May 29, 2008
and what is that supposed to mean? what makes a strong president? judgement or noise? this guy with all his ''inexperience'' was able to tell in 2002 that the irag war is a wrong choice. what happened to the experienced guys? this year again he was able to tell americans that the gas tax holiday was a gimmick to win popularity. the experienced guys went the other way. no wonder he attracts college educated americans.

only dumb, stupid nincompoops like the illiterate racist white appalachian americans and some peeps here in nairaland will believe the words that come from hillary's mouth.

this is a woman who agreed that florida and michigan wont count, only to turn around to ''fight'' for them when she realised that she needs their votes to steal a ''victory''. now she wants to take the battle to the convention. just to ruin obama.

her motto: if not me, then the republicans can win.

after all she had already campaigned for the republicans, praising McCain, romancing with fox news channel (an established racist channel that was set up to destroy the democrat party) and bill even went to the rush laumbaugh show (a republican anti democrat radio talk show)

that monster

the real slip she made was an inadvertent exposure of her deep thoughts/hopes

i wont be surprised if obama develops ''cancer/stroke'' b4 the convention or b4 the general election. that witch can do anything. and her racist white appalachian dumbo surpporters may be willing to carry out any action on her behalf.

my aim is not for obama presidentcy but for stopping hillary at all costs cool

there is nothing as heinous as citing an assasination in june while explaining why she is staying in the race. are there no other examples for her to give. abegi angry

ahaa, the only thing more heinous is that she apologised to kennedies alone. no reference to the obama team. as if she is unaware of the tumoils her statement made. such meanness from a woman. poor michelle is having high bp now

BUT HIS GRAND UNCLE WAS AT WWII Liberating jews from buchenwald(spelling?)

compare that to sniper, or the untreated ill pregnant woman who died stories from mama hilly
PoliticsRe: N/A by otele(m): 9:49pm On May 28, 2008
obama should be very careful. mike huckabee has already made a joke at the NRA about his assasination and now hillary slipped up about june assasination and her desire to remain in the race.

while no one (including me) believes it is what she meant, one thing i know, the clintons are not that naive and they may be hoping for something real bad to happen to obama as that is the only way they can have the nomination.

apart from physical harm, i wonder what real bad stuff can deny him the nomination. b/c florida and michigan can not save her ambition

that monster angry
i dont care if obama wins or looses, but hillary MUST NOT BE PRESIDENT. NOT EVEN VP angry

tell them cool

also tell them that tony blair took a train from a train station to his 'village' after he handed over to Gordon brown
escort was just a few men who followed him to the train station where he got out with his wife and entered the train just like other passengers. it was live on tv and you could see some passers-by where shocked to see blair in the train station just likt them too.

if bush is to pass thru new york, i'm sure they'll close down manhattan for the whole day grin grin

TravelRe: United States Of America Vs United Kingdom by otele(m): 9:13pm On Apr 01, 2008
i've been in the UK all my life. i have been to thew states time and again. i can tell you this, , , i'll rather be a british citizen any day than be a US citizen. it may be easier to get money in the states. but money is not everything. and by the way, Britain is not a poor country. those you see in the UK without cars is really their choice. most of them are happy with the transport system especially in london. most londoners will rather not own cars. even those who do, dont use them everyday.

and talking about poverty, the US has more poor people than the UK. there is greater gap btw the rich and the poor in the US than the UK. london is a leveler as the saying goes. people get by. crime is not as high as in the US. UK is simple. better roads, better health care (hillary clinton and obama are trying to adopt a health care method close to the british method) watch the documentary movie sicko by michael moore to understand the horror of american health care system.

the british schools are also better regulated than the american schools. yes, the US may have a few ivy league great schools, but pick an average american school against an average british schools, the average american(not nigerian turned americans) will want to come to UK for education.

sports . . UK is better (at least football which is the world's #1 sport)
politics . . . british system is better . . look at the american system, see the destructive primaries
only an intelligent person can emerge as prime minister in the UK b/c it takes a lot of intelligence to face the parliament in a weekly gruelling prime minister's question time.

race relations. . . the UK is better b/c most british cities do not have the 'black neighbourhoods' and even 'black churches' that segregated america has (except may be london and birmingham)

organisation. . .the UK is better organised. everyone knows that

violence/security . . . we all know this. . . guns are sold in the US as pure water is sold in nigeria. any deranged student can wake up one day and fire guns into the air, killing people and then himself. lol.

with these and more, i do strongly opine that the UK on the average, other things being equal, is by far a better place to live than the US

thank you
