The first case of violence happened when APC supporters were attacked in River State earlier this week. We condemned this act of violence by the youths in Jos. Buhari has condemned this act in strong terms earlier today. Has Jonathan condemned the attack on APC supporters earlier this week? Has any PDP operatives condemned the violent act on APC supporters? The answer is no.

Burning down PDP vehicles doesn't make Buhari or APC culpable. Two months ago, Buhari issued a statement that none of his supporters should insult the president. Buhari asked his supporters to shun any act of violent in any form in the face of any provocation.

So Op, I challenge you and your fellow TANist to condemn the violent act on Buhari supporters that happened in Port Harcourt earlier this week too.

Buhari supporters indeed. I did not see any APC or Buhari supporters in the video. I only saw youths who have problem seeing PDP bus. The youths were angry to see bus of a party who has brought misery on them for 16 years. A party who has failed to provide them security against Boko Haram.

The face-off between Governor Sullivan Chime and his erstwhile Chief of Staff, Mrs. Ifeoma Nwobodo, may have deepened as seven official vehicles she took away while leaving the office in October were recovered on the orders of the governor Tuesday.

Mrs. Nwobodo, who was the most influential member of Chime’s cabinet, resigned in October to enable her contest for Enugu East Senatorial seat.

She, however, lost the Peoples Democratic Party. PDP, ticket to incumbent Senator Gilbert Nnaji, whose seat she was determined to occupy.

There had been speculations that Mrs. Nwobodo had been having a running battle with the governor over her failure to clinch the senatorial ticket but this could not be confirmed b before the governor’s security aides and Government House drivers reportedly stormed her GRA residence Tuesday afternoon.

Sources at the Enugu Government House told ADVOCATE NIGERIA that the governor gave a directive to his security details to recover all the official vehicles used by the former Chief of Staff.

The security details were said to have gone to her house with some drivers who were assigned to bring the vehicles back to the Government House.

It could not be ascertained if she put up any resistance when told about the governor’s directive.

The source said that the policemen that were attached to her when she was in office and who had continued to guard her residence and serve as her escort, have also been withdrawn.

Officials of the state government contacted on the development confirmed that there was a directive to recover some of the vehicles used by the former Chief of Staff to the governor.

‘It would be recalled that eight vehicles were recovered from the former State Deputy Governor. Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi after he was impeached.
