This is no secret; the case of Henry Okah is just one of the many examples, Nigeria should take a look at Iraq where a rag tag bunch is now routing a conventional army on all fronts. The Iraqis refused to do the needful and kept playing politics, now their country is in shreds.

Its no longer news that many Nigerians have short memory, it was alleged by Henry Okah and later discovered that majority of the arms used by the militants came from the Nigerian Army armoury in Kaduna state.

Medically qualified is not the same thing as medically fit.

People should call a spade a spade. Lab technologist were usually hnd holders then an amorphous and strange B.tech was given by universities to the same lab technologists and dubbed science lab tech.

Now they are calling themselves lab scientists dropping the tech to distinguish themselves fron lab tech but we all know their history. One went to apply for Masters in Microbiology and was told his starting point is post graduate diploma and he took offence.

A man will always be a man and head of the home, the woman will say she is head of the kitchen but it will end in laughter.

dirifred: I remember Oyegun's tenure as governor of Edo state. it was a disaster. The state trade fair complex still belongs to him cos he sold it to himself. the ugly part is that he bought the state trade fair complex from the state with the state's money.
When thieves of yester-years come up and pretend to be progressive, i wonder the use of our history.
Is that so? please tell us more.

The rot in public schools and indeed private schools reflect the rot in our mentality as a nation. Most people want to get rich quick without hardwork. Our youth are busy pressing phone, listening to wazobia fm, watching so much tv or and going to so many church activities. The family system has all but collapsed as parents are not around to raise up their children.

The way forward is to return back and institute a change process where hardwork is rewarded. To do away with "stomach infrastructure" politics, the church should establish good schools which should be very affordable. The FG should pump money into federal colleges and ensure standards are met.
