Op, it all starts with what we humans think is love, then later it has to do with coping with one another.
For example, a mam will marry a woman cause to him, he loves her. When asked what he loves about her, he says she is loving, caring, slim and sexy, etc.
Fast forward to 10 years time and 4 children.... Most of these "sexy" qualities change. Her shape is disfigured by constant child birth (most don't excersise to stay fit), she doesn't give the husband the much needed affection anymore cause she struggles with working and taking care of the children. When the husband wm touch am for night, she is tired.....and the husband is like this woman no love me anymore.
Also, the woman married the man cause she "loved" him....if you ask why, she says he is tall, handsome , funny, has a good job and sexually satisfying .
20 years later, he doesn't have that juicy job anymore, years of heavy drinking and bad habits has affected his sexual health. The stress of not being to providing a much needed financial support to the family plus the fact he can't go more than 1 round which is 10seconds affects him psychologically and he is withdrawn and aggressive..... No longer the funny guy you married.
In these two scenario, the things we "loved" about our partners are no longer there, it now takes patience and understanding to cope, if not friction between the couple kicks in.
