Reason you guys voted in the quota system general to get things back on track.... the best he could do is to make Nigeria the poverty capital, unemployment skyrocketed under him, killings in every area in the country, Nigeria has never been this unsafe even sultan said it himself but paid urchins will still want to do their jobs.... how much were we owing in 2015 compares to today? even with all the borrowings nothing to show, life has become so unbearable, what of inflation, cost of petrol, exchange rate?

People die in every country, some kids get shot in school even in the USA, they too can't enjoy whatever the USA have to offer
Some people decided to be snatching people on the street to go and roast to eat like we see ipob doing. Govt cant be in every corner to stop all criminals

The thousands killed in Nyanya bus park, Banex plaza, UN complex, Police HQ, in Abuja, apart from bomb attacks in churches and mosques, on Kano streets between 2010-2015 did they enjoy 6% growth rate and GDP rebasing under GEJ?

Who will pay the billions of dollars that your Vegetable god has borrowed to loot under the guise of building railways even in Niger Republic?

Just as the vegetable is paying back this $500m loan and $490m CCTV loan collected by your beloved goat and yam president that did not deliver a single camera in Abuja

GEJ was useless but remind me again how much did he borrow to build the raiways?

$500m loan from China in 2010 for Abuja-Kaduna railway
Repayment started in 2017, almost $200m already repaid.

Hmmm see this one.. from obasanjo -- umaru musa yaradua -- goodluck jonathan -- mohammadu burhari. So where is someone from southeast? Is what u wrote up there called democracy?

Where is NC, NE there? Where is Igala, Birom, Chamba, Kataf, Igbomina, Ogoni, Tiv, Jukun, Egun, EFIK, Ibibio on that list?

Where is the Anglican, Nasfat, Ecksnkar, Guru, Hare Krishner, Sango, Ogun worshiper, Catholic, Methodist, C&S, Ahmaddiya etc on that list?

Until it goes to them, it's not democracy?

I understand that awolowo made a clear-cut vision of decentralised system of governance. This issue was given an audience at the national assembly and zik won the debate so why you making look as if it cannot be reversed. Besides you and i know that the 1999 constitution is a fraud. On the issue of tinubu i hope u know he is extorting alot from lagosians and osibanjo is just a coward. Igbos always stand there group we are not scared of anyone. You can call us names but not coward.

I predict your Igbo legislators will start voting against amendment bills for decentralization or restructuring especially if a SW president should emerge in 2023. That's the pattern we've always seen. Then you will learn they don't need state police, resource control or VAT collection by states again.

Add: Nigeria is sustained by income from the SW and Northern regions.

There is no level of twists and turns, untested theories and outright falsehoods that you predators in Nigeria would not put forward to defend the system.

You raise money from Zone A but use the money to develop Zone B, build modern infrastructures in unproductive Zone B - leave the infrastructures in Zone A deplorable.

President from zone A sat for 5 years and did not know zone A needs infrastructure.

No be juju be that?

As you borrowed, make effort to pay back from the proceed of the projects.

Nigeria is not owing China any due payment. Abuja- Kaduna railway loan has been repaid up to about 40% since 2017.

Let those predicting it will take 100 years to pay back not deceive you.

Too bad,

sidelining the SS and SE regions but first start to build standard gauge rail lines in the SW and northern regions. There is no economic sense in that.

Nature abhors injustice.

INTEL died when digital exchange stations were first built in small northern Nigeria's towns, while big southern cities, mostly in the east, were struggling with analog exchange stations.

So you had a SE/SS president and he did not remember to start any rail project in his region.

When power comes back to your region in 36 years now you know how to use it

You are typical Nigerian who are loudmouthed yet cannot secure a job due to poor performance at the job interview. Awolowo being leader of Action Group Party did not make Awolowo the Action Group Party. Subsequent events that followed 1960 proved it as fact. Action Group Party continued as a political party when Awolowo was slammed into jail for treason. For curiosity's sake, have you seen a question from Intelligent Quotient Test? Even Zik was flabbergasted that Awo and Ige visited him in Onitsha. Awolowo was a typical Yoruba with Ponzi characteristics. Wow!!! Did I not mention being a typical Yoruba? Now the reason behind the precipitation of coup on January 15, 1966 was indeed corruption not Igbo wanting to dominate.

It's a terrible thing for Awo to have a team discussing with NPC in the north but it is perfectly alright and normal for Azikiwe to be discussing and cutting deals with the same northern party NPC on the phone from his bedroom. It was alright for Zik to be reporting to Sardauna Bello on Awo's movement.

You can never measure others with the same standard you hold yourself, you feel you're cleverer than all others. That's why you remain misfits and have your coconut head always bruised in almost all societies you find yourself whether within Nigeria or malaysia, Vietnam or China

When I read certain craps posted on this forum, I try to imagine the level of intellect of the goons who wrote the silly pieces and comprehensible ability of the posters. This is type of goofy tuff which seems to make the day for the dunces, such as "Two parties that have very little in common except mutual dislike of the third (Awolowo)". I did not know Awolowo was a political party. NPC and NCNC were two of many political parties which fought for parliamentary seats during 1959 election. The results as tabled indicated the coalition of NCNC and AG could not form a government. In addition, the coalition of NPC and AG could not form a government too. The most reasonable action therein remained a coalition of NPC and NCNC to form a coalition which guaranteed two-third majority in the legislature.

Only a simple majority was needed to produce the prime minister and head the govt.

NCNC would have been the senior partner since they won a bit more seats than AG. But they preferred to become a junior partner under NPC and got ceremonial governor-general who will wear uniform and be receiving visitors for the PM and inspecting a military honour guard

Let's call a spade a spade. This is a silly comparison. Those homeless people in the U.S are still far better than the homeless people in Nigeria. They have homeless shelters for them, however so many of them refuse to seek refuge at the homeless shelters due to a high rate of theft and physical abuse by the residents. Also, many of them are homeless due to drug abuse and mental health issues, even when offered a place to stay, they still end up on the streets. The homeless people over there also have access to social workers who can set them up with food vouchers, health insurance, job training etc but Nigeria doesn't have that. Notwithstanding, as a Nigerian, Nigeria remains the best place to make it big in this life. Despite the numerous challenges we face, there's no place like home and it is left for us to develop it.

Homeless people have health insurance in the USA? Who is paying the premium?
What kind of nonsense is this?

APC zoned positions to individuals! Senate president was zoned to Lawan and speaker to Gbajabiamila, so this pretense and double standard you guys are doing is shameful

Do you possess the clout to start micro-zoning all by yourselves? Let's watch and see

An incompetent president affects everybody so better look for competency over ethnicity.

The only reason Igbos are insisting on the presidency is because of Nigeria tribal politics

Why did zoning start in 1999? Some people could have resisted then that there was nothing like zoning before then. There's always a beginning of everything, unless you're looking for excuse not to support microzoning. Saying it did not start from 1999 makes not sense! Besides zoning is only in PDP constitution!

Zoning and micro-zoning are here defined differently, stop pretending they are the same.

The 2 slots to the north since 1999 has gone to the same zone and in fact same state. Every zone in the north competed for the ticket and the winner proceeded to run
