At the end of the day, you guys are still right Sha cos I just remembered the lack of kiss scenes in my liberation notes and thirty nine even though we can't really call them romcoms, they could have still given us better romance.

My Liberation Notes really wasted the chemistry of the leads. Hand sef they did not hold.

Lol we're probably not watching the same dramas Sha or maybe it's cos I always find a logic for why there's not a lot of kisses in dramas I watch. Like with cheer up, my logic is, main couple haven't been together for long and they are in college. I don't think I've seen a college drama with plenty kiss scenes so it's not strange to me. With love in contract, my logic was people have been complaining about pmy doing only romance roles so she's probably trying to cut down on her kissing so casting directors won't keep casting her in the same roles lol. As for good job, I thought well the drama was terrible anyway so the terrible writer wrote only 1 kiss scene. I swear I have all kinds of reasoning for the dramas I've seen haha

Lol. I actually understand Cheer Up because they are college students so I am really not expecting much.

Yes to Love In Contract. I expected more kiss scenes since it was a Romcom. Lol. She should do another drama then if they don't want to go all in. I am not even talking about a bed scene. Just normal lovey dovey kisses .

Was the kiss scenes that much in Shooting Stars? Can't remember.

I stopped watching Good Job at episode 4 or so.

I am really enjoying Summer Strike. It's slow but sweet. I really love the male lead and how he treats the female lead. Waiting for their romance to start. I just hope it won't be "I like you, I like you too", kiss or hug and then boom, drama ends.

One major thing I love about Cheer Up is the female lead.....and the male lead. But the female lead mostly. I love her acting, her dialogues with her mum, and friend. They are usually funny interesting to watch.

I don't think it's covid, I think most of the writers aren't really focusing on the romance between couples. There are a lot of side stories to tackle and the romance is just like an extra luggage lol

But some of them are Romcom na. We expect them to continue with the standard of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, Goblin, Healer and others.

Lol I don't see it at all, I think it's the same as it has always been. I mean it's not as if dramas has always been filled with kisses in every episode. 90% of most dramas, we don't get a kiss till episode 8 and then maybe 1 or 2 more in episode 10-12, then from there the couple breaks up for whatever reason and don't kiss again till episode 16. It's like 10% of dramas that really give kisses and they are rare so I guess we're in that rare stage

Exactly, but now, we get one in maybe episode 8 or 9. Then another at the end. Maybe like toykathy said, it's because of COVID.

I miss the stolen kisses the male lead gives the female lead in Cheer Up. It was sweet and adorable.

I am worried about the 3year jump in Cheer Up. Presently they are in 2019. Let's hope they reconcile before 2022. They should not give us the 2521 treatment biko. And she better not end up with Sunho.

No more World Cup matches for South Korea. They are out of the competition. So hopefully, the drama will finally end next week.

Lol you probably didn't notice but I'm sure you have watched several dramas where it was sang. You probably didn't even know that was what they were singing cos in some scenes some people even sing it while drunk. Lol even in start up there was a scene where Nam do san and good boy where pretending to have a serious conversation to impress Suzy but they were saying the lyrics of the national anthem. If you were into kpop stanning you would have heard it a lot cos almost every idol/musician has had the opportunity to sing it at stadiums before games

You just don't notice it. They sing their anthem and even recite it often in dramas. Unless you really follow the sub you won't realize they are singing their national anthem

maybe I just haven't noticed. The song didn't sound familiar when I heard it at the World Cup. Or maybe they didn't sing it in the ones I have watched .

Watching the South Koreans in this World Cup made me realise that I haven't heard their National Anthem before. Unlike Indian and American Anthems that I heard for the first time through their films.

Meanwhile, they have qualified for the next round so one more day of no kdrama.

I heard Weak Hero Class 1 is a tearjerker. I am in episode 3 but don't know if I should continue. I don't want to cry abeg. I like light dramas these days. The male lead is really good! Hope to see him more in kdramas.
