The bulling scenes in some of the k dramas can be so disturbing, I can usually stomach them if there is some form of retribution, otherwise I can actually stop watching a drama if there isn't

What are some of your k drama pet peeves

1. I understand that unrequited love is a real thing but I can't stand it when a character who is 'victim' of one sided love has absolutely no self respect urgh

2. Bullying with no retribution for the bullies omg sometimes I check episode summaries to confirm that some type of retribution occurs and I have actually stopped watching dramas that don't provide one that is to my satisfaction lol

3. Male characters with hairstyles that look like black hair shop synthetic wigs (tend to see this in J dramas). Pictures attached, Yoon Ji Hoo from Boys over flowers' hair used to trigger me so much

4. Misunderstandings that could've been fixed with a quick, basic explanation that get drawn out for like 6 episodes

5. Ok it's not a pet peeve per se but I always find it funny when there's some kind of fight/conflict scene and the background music is some nintendo sounding tekken fight music ok we get it this is a 'bad ass' scene

6. The I can't be with you because I don't want to put you in danger so I'll be mean to you to push you away in my noble bid to protect you etc narrative

Mine is when a character claim to love someone and then leaves that person for whatever reason. Reason why I don't like Yong Pal and Scarlet Heart. Yong Pal was almost a favourite for me but drastically dropped to the bottom of the list at the last 4 episodes when he left the female lead.

I am currently watching Stranger and I don't just understand the female detective's hairstyle. I also haven't watched Iteawon Class because of the male lead's hairstyle. Will overlook it later though.

Tbh besides the snail's pace the story is progressing my other reasons are superficial like way the male lead's ears distract me and idk who is styling him for this role.

So Arthdal Chronicles is a series and it was supposed to have 3 seasons but after releasing season 1 they've been joncing fans for 1 year+. They say the next season is coming out next year but we're not sure of anything and it's very annoying because the drama was soooo good. Sigh. I'm heartbroken huhuhuhu

I knew you were kidding. I didn't even know not was misspelt until you said it.
I guess the delay will be blamed on Covid. I haven't seen it yet. Will watch it next.

are you watching cheat on me if you can, currently in episode 3 I am loving it so far.

I like waiting for a drama to finish airing so I can binge it. The only one I have been unable to resist is Lovestruck In The City. Was curious about the first episode cos like you said, Ji Chang Wook is in it, but haven't been able to resist downloading it per week.

Considering the fact that we all have different taste and preference in ........... every thing, I will suggest you watch the 1st episode and see if you like it. I think it's good and interesting. It's different from the usual kdrama. It's fresh. I like it.

It is a lifestyle drama and it is new, only 2 episodes out I think. It is not lame in my opinion, I find it interesting.

I like the filming style

I like the interview/vlog setting, it can be likened to the American TV show, The Office

I like that it is not a common theme in Korea, this is like the second drama I have seen with this style.

I like that it is lighthearted (for now atleast) and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Above all, I love the cast.

Was just on YouTube watching the OTS of Healer and saw that the song Eternal Love was done by Michael Learns To Rock. Wow.

People I need help. I want to watch A Korean Odyssey but all the sites I download from (daebakdrama, kissasian and watchasian)have it in very large sizes, from 500mb and above. Please where else can I get it in smaller mb? 200mb or less. Thanks.

It’s not horror really, it’s not scary. It just has some dark scenes and as you watch, you will get used to all the unconventional things. The humor is tasteful.

LOL I watched backstreet rookie when it aired and honestly don't bother watching it except if you have the data to spare or if you're like me and you love the leads so much that you can put up with them acting in a Yeye drama

Lol. Me too. Just finished The K2 yesterday after watching Suspicious Partner last week. Would have loved to see Backstreet Rookie next but let me take a break for now. Besides a lot of people complained about the drama but others say the Koreans gave bad reviews about it from the first episode so maybe the script was changed half way. I don't really know if it's true. But the reviews on YouTube are good though.

But honestly as much as I'm for artistic freedom sometimes these people shouldn't be free lol anyway the main gist is 2020 is the year mamamoo disappointed me. LOL not the end but seriously, I think the only thing mamamoo has done that has impressed me this year is moonbyul's solo.

Solar's spit it out : I liked it, it's nice but it didn't feel like solar to me, I think I would have loved it more from hwasa, I just didn't feel it as much as I would have liked to

Aya : I don't even think this song has a chorus or a hook, it didn't work for me, all I heard was Aya, rrrrr, sweg, charisma

They have done some featurings and singles that have been nice but this is not the mamamoo I fell in love with. I'm glad they're doing music that makes them happy but can they go back to making music that made me happy cos I'm a selfish bi!tch who only cares about my entertainment.

P.s : I will always love them and I will probably never stop crushing over Solar's hair in Aya mv, so freaking gorgeous, she needs to advertise for Pantene or something
