After downloading the ROM follow the steps below

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 10 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

And peeps are using MIUI 11 on RN4x without issues. I only experience battery drain once the first few days after an upgrade, follow my usual ritual and it is back to normal.

Remove spaces


Go to the updater that is settings>about phone>system update. Click the option and loo select "choose update package". Or just click on the miui logo several times. Follow the instructions and search for the downloaded rom, select iit and install.


Use a download manager to download the rom, otherwise bad network will disrupt the download process

Like I said green bars don't always tell the story. Based on personal experience. If you can put it in airplane mode through the night and see if you experience such drain

It's not data. But network to receive and make calls. If you really want to switch off airtel network at night, switch to airplane mode.

Furthermore, the data connection of the phone stays connected all the time in standby mode by default, even when you are sleep in the night.
There's an option to set when the connection should be disconnected. Minutes after you lock the phone.
The connection comes back on immediately you unlock it again. Follow the screenshots below..

This looks good as well. Your network is stable. I will advise that you should hard reset your phone a couple of times. i.e holding down the power button till the phone goes off and come backs on...

Network fluctuation is the usual culprit. If you are a Glo user, worse.

I’m trying to get more info from their website but it is not displaying info. Can one cover his family? Is it 15k on each person in a family?

Yes, for one year, e.g if seeing the doctor is 3k, you'd pay 300naira only... same goes with any drug you are buying, though when some hospitals discover you are covered, they'd tell you they don't have some very very expensive drugs even though its available, the doc/pharmacy will give you prescription to go get it outside... man must chop na.
