Hi every body. My pop's wife bought a gas cooker (those ones sold for 6k) to the just completed village house. While she was cooking with it last night, the cooker caught fire. Rather than try to put it out, the yeye woman (she's like those over painted lazy city women) ran upstairs to call my pop. By the time, the fire was burning brightly in the kitchen with gas reeking everywhere. My pop calmly used a plank to push the cooker out through the back door. We were lucky it didn't explode. There was no fire extinguisher in the house. Now i'v stopped using my gas cooker coz i de fear fire o. WHAT DOES ONE DO IF GAS COOKER CAUGHT FIRE? Pls i need urgent answers

Well, i didn't experience much hostel brutality coz i got into hostel in ss 2 into delta careers college,warri. I wasn't happy with what i saw the seniors doing to the juniors coz violence begets violence. When the brutalised juniors become seniors, they do same to those below them. We have what is called RED NIGHT, the night before a public holiday. We sleep with 2 eyes open. All manners of bull poo is carried out that. So during red nights, i sleep in the class room. Stealing is so rampart. We Cook indomie with water heater. . . I no fit talk o. But what i hate most about hostel is lack of freedom to go outside the school compound without fiery "permission" and wearing the same uniform day in day out. I felt like a prisoner

@ beaf- of course i was aware when those events took place. The deployment of troops is only a temporary measure to curtail the outbreak or spread of violence. It doesn't solve the real issues that need to be addressed. After the soldiers have been withdrawn nko? They start killing and burning again. What i'm saying is that the FG should find a way to solve the problem once for all instead of deploying troops anyhow like as if it'll solve the problem

I wonder why the nigeria govt hasn't done anything about these boko haram group. If it were MEND or any other group from the niger delta, people go de shout. That's selective justice.
