First, I hope we (including her) all know the difference between the BRIDE PRICE and MARRIAGE LIST. Two different things.

To the topic, BRIDE PRICE and marriage list is not about her, it is about the Umunna. The last time I checked, the BRIDE PRICE is not given to the bride, but to her father. The content of the list is also not given to her, but to the Umunna, Umuada and youths.

Even the bible says, give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar. A core Igbo man would be very restless if he doesn’t pay bride price, because he knows what is waiting for him in the front. Who even gave her drink to give him when BRIDE PRICE hasn’t been paid?

I do hope she had a unanimous agreement with her people on this. She won’t be the first woman to marry without her BRIDE PRICE being paid. However, they all pay it at some point, maybe when she dies.

I have seen women being treated badly and they said it is because they shamefully followed a man who didn't pay their BRIDE PRICE. I have also seen the ones treated badly and they still say it is because he BOUGHT them. Bride price where I come from is N10 and it is SYMBOLIC, not an EXTORTION, not SELLING THE LADY. The presence or absence if it is also not a guarantee he would treat you fairly. That one is dependent on the man and his ideologies.

I’m a proud owner of 1997 w202 c230 bought exactly 7 years, 1 month, two weeks and few days ago. It was my first car. I got it against the advice of people around me and I did not regret for a second that decision. I had Peugeot 406 , Toyota Corolla and 1998-2000 Honda Accord as top contenders. There is hardly a day I would not have to drive this car and it have never slept at mechanic workshop except for an occasion when I bumped on a ridge and the transmission oil pan got broken with oil leaking that resulted to fry TCU that shut the car into limp home modeThe replacement took 3 days because the part had to be sourced outside my area.

I drove Toyota Venza, 03/04 Corolla and Honda Accord 05 at a point, not the owner, none of them come in comparison to my old Benz in term of handling and stability on the road. Some of my close relative got Benz when they saw how mine has been a true servant.

What have I changed? Engine oil (I used total quartz 9000) every 12 months, air flow meter 3 times the latest was this morning , coil 4 times, TCU, plugs occasionally, transmission oil 3 times, absorbers and brake pads. I have not had to open the engine for any reason and the car is still in top form despite everyday use and flogging. I smile sometimes when some cars of the same class and a step higher wanted to drag race with me on highway. I would even be taunting some drivers on the road and allow them to have a victory when I know what would take me to beat the is a kick down.

Now I need to upgrade but I’m still keeping that legend. Here is my request, which year of w203 and brand can you recommend that would be as reliable and rugged as my w202?

My Dad owns a Mercedes 230E and he has parked it for about 5years.
I went to repair it this December.
I've changed alot of things in the car, fuel pump (twice)
Metal in the engine, Serviced the starter, alternator, radiator and many more.

Now my problem is anytime I am driving the car, it will be jerking and won't accept acceleration.

The mechanic said I should change it from injector to carburetor. I need advice or solution

He parked the car for almost 5yrs and I wanna revive the car, I've done alot of work on the car, yet the car is still jerking. I've changed the fuel pump twice and cleaned the injector, yet same problem.
