It was Gift Gugu Mona, who once asserted that, “Any marriage can last forever, as long as both partners remain committed to their vows.” This vividly captures the central message embedded in the duet by famous gospel music minister-cum-couple, Chris and Eunice Morgan. The song entitled ‘My Vow’, which is a track from his current album; ‘Certified Love’ tends to school people on the need for couples to remain committed to their vows of ‘till death doeth us apart.’ The video, which has been tipped for the prestigious Grammy Award by music buffs, particularly gospel music lovers, features the couple renewing their love vows passionately. Speaking on the new video lensed by cerebral music video director, Abraham Daniels, Morgan, whose song, Daily As I Live is still an anthem in many churches, also said the songs tends to remind Christians on the need to stick to the love of Jesus Christ, who will never break one’s heart. Morgan said the video in timely because as the word prepares for this year’s Valentine Day, it is necessary for couples to understand that love should not be celebrated once in a year. “At a time where true love is anathema to many people and many marriages crumble like pack of cards, we found it necessary to remind us that love should be celebrated everyday and not once in a year. This video is apt and timely because preparations are already heating up ahead of this year’s Valentine’s Day and the love seems to vanish after the festival. DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO AND LYRICS BELOW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDh9jiWKsdo The lyrics below (Chris Morgan) So glad you belong to me So glad I belong to you From this beginning To the end of time I’ll love you forever I’ll always love you (2x) (Eunice) I will always love you No matter what I face Inspite of everything I go through I pledge my life To love and stay with you Till the end of time (Together) Ohhhh oooh I pledge my life I pledge my life to you Chorus This is my vow I’ll never break your heart I’ll never walk away from you I belong to you You belong to me Eunice You are my heart Completely take your place May we never lose each other I belong to you You belong to me (Together) So I cherish this love we share To the end of time I’ll love you forever Till my last breathe at last I lay down To the end of time I’ll love you forever

Former Senate President and the senator representing Benue South at the Red Chamber, Senator David Mark, during the weekend drove through the Loko - Oweto road to his country home, Otukpo. Mark, who is said to be among those who fought gallantly for the project not to be diverted to Kogi State, drove through the road with his brother, Igoche Mark and other members of his family to his home town during the weekend to mark his father's burial remembrance. www.IDOMAVOICE.com gathered that a visibly excited Mark stopped on the Oweto bridge to inspect the project. He expressed excitement at the speed the project is going. Few days back, Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, who initiated the project many years back, told IDOMA VOICE in his Abuja home that the road would be ready by September 2017. Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has been accused of using the recently-launched Coalition for Nigeria to achieve his third term ambition. A group, under the aegis of Coalition for Nigeria (CN) has come out to claim that the former president stole its idea and name by ‘criminally’ launching the Coalition of Nigeria Movement (CNM). DAILY POST reports that Obasanjo’s proposed political movement was launched in Abuja on Wednesday at the Yar’Adua Centre with former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governors, Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Donald Duke in attendance. Reacting, however, the group warned Nigerians not to be deceived into thinking they are dealing with the authentic group when in reality, they could be playing into the den of persons that have track record of being political criminals. CN described the Obasanjo-led Coalition Movement as a group of failed politicians and those that had made immense contributions towards wrecking Nigeria with a sprinkling of youths that have anger issues. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Sabo Odeh, the national president of the group said the authentic Coalition for Nigeria has noble intentions centred around galvanising Nigerians for nation building around tenets that are long term without pandering to unnecessary drama and media hype. According to him, “Our Coalition is not limited to creating a backdoor for retired and tired politicians to install puppets in government for the purpose of continuing to loot the treasury while ruling by impunity as had been experienced in the past. Obasanjo Coalition Movement seeks to do the exact opposite while leveraging on our credible name to sell its lies to Nigerians. “The Coalition for Nigeria, having the best intentions of our dear nation at heart, is careful to go about effecting change in a way that does not jeopardize the stability and safety of Nigeria. There is nothing to be gained in burning our country in the name of seeking improvement; the reforms we all desire are achievable through persuasion, consensus building and collaboration without resorting to inflammatory acts and utterances as we have seen with some people. “Instead of pursuing peaceful growth and evolution, what we have seen the children of anger in the Obasanjo Coalition Movement is a situation where old politicians in their twilight are manipulating youths to be incendiary. “Our Coalition is made up of Nigerians that yearn for a better country with the firm belief that the dismantling of the infrastructure for corruption is a necessary first step that ensure that we can then build the country on a solid foundation that provides level playing field to all citizens. Obasanjo Coalition Movement is however at variance with this noble and laudable assembly hence its obsession with stealing such respectable name. The failed assemblage is made up of former public office holders that are suffering the withdrawal symptoms of not having access to the proceeds of corruption upon which their unsustainable lifestyles had depended; this demographic is supported by their entitled offspring and lackeys that have similarly lost access to easy money. “The authentic Coalition for Nigeria will continue to pursue the noble objective of having credible persons to drive the Nigeria Project irrespective of differences pertaining to class, ethnicity, religious or political affiliation. Our belief is that such melding is important for building prosperous nations and that Nigeria should not be left behind. This is why we find it distasteful that an impostor coalition is using our identity to malign fellow Nigerians on the divisive concepts of ethnicity and geo-political differences. This is not only criminal but also sick. “The outcomes that the Coalition of Nigeria desire is a Nigeria that works for us all, the outcomes we have in mind are such that would persist from one administration to the other, an enduring legacy. We are however shocked that the people that are trying to steal our name have the singular agenda of helping former president and convener of the shady group, Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo, to secure a third time in office, something he could not achieve when he last held office in 2007. “Having laid out this background, the legitimate Coalition for Nigeria hereby warns the Obasanjo Coalition Movement to stop using our name to further the agenda of failed politicians that are out to pursue Obasanjo’s Third Term and Third Time Agenda. If he had failed before nothing stops him from spectacularly failing again, this time. It is most unfortunate that this hare-brained attempt is coming at a time when even Ghaddafi, Grand-dad Mugabe and Jammeh have all become history. “We want Nigerians to take note today that we have distanced ourselves from this threat to Nigeria’s wellbeing. We should all be genuinely worried that Obasanjo has relaunched his Third Term/Third Time bid more than one decade after he failed to clinch same while in power in 2007. Our cry to Nigerians for this group to stop using our name is premised on the information we have received that most of the 1000 snipers trained for Obasanjo’s Third Term Agenda are still viable and would be deployed to further render our dear country unstable. “Please, note that members of the Obasanjo Coalition Movement had dedicatedly implemented this destabilization agenda against the economy in the past three years before they came out to admit they are members of the same group.” source>>>http://dailypost.ng/2018/02/01/coalition-nigeria-obasanjo-stole-name-third-term-agenda-group/ seun, lalasticlala, mynd44

Nigerians from all walks of life, devoid of political party affiliation, ethnicity and religion, Friday, stormed the Eagles Square, Nigeria's power-transition theatre to cry out their hearts to God over the myriad of problems facing the county. Political heavyweights, captains of industry, royal fathers, legal luminaries as well as clergies prayed, danced and worshiped God on behalf of the nation. The event tagged Nations Worship in His Presence was organised by the Dr. Paul and Becky Enenche-led Dunamis International Gospel Centre. The programme, with the theme, The Kingdom is the Lord's, attracted prominent Nigerians, including the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who sent a powerful 12-man delegation led by Pastor Oluseyi Malomo. Among the VP’s delegation were Rev and Mrs. Isaac Ambi, Deaconess JO Ayo, Pastor Moses Babatunde, Pastor Oluwabunmi Akande, Pastor Femi Osinbajo, Senator Ita Enang and among others. The speaker of the House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara also sent a representative. The Benue State governor, who was absent also sent a representative in person. Justices of the Supreme Court and judges of the Federal High Courts and high courts as well as several Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN Kehinde Olamide Ogunwumiju, SAN Chief Afolabi, SAN Chief Mike Osimin were also on ground. Elder statesmen, Prof Jerry Gana, General Lawrence Onoja, Bayelsa State Governor, His Excellency, Seriake Dickson and among others were on ground to intercede on behalf of the nation. His royal highness, Chief Baba Odangla was also in attendance. The Zimbabwean Ambassador and the Venezuelan Ambassador to Nigeria, the national chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon John Gaul Lebo and his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, Onofiok Luke, senators as well as several honorable members of the federal house of assemblies, and member of state assemblies, former governors, a plethora of men and women of God, just to mention a few also came around to be part of the event. In a powerful note delivered by the Senior Pastor of the church, Dr. Paul Enenche, during the well-attended meeting, which had the who is who in the society in attendance, the highly respected preacher shared a seven fold charge to those in leadership positions to see it as privilege and not a right. Dr. Enenche said Nigeria is currently at a crossroad and in dire need of urgent Divine intervention. The programme, which was powered by the Dunamis Church, was attended by hundreds of thousands of Nigerians, a mammoth crowd overflowing the Eagle Square all the way to the car park spaces and surrounding roads. They all cried out to God to salvage the nation from her current terrible situation. He admitted that despite the many challenging confronting the entity called Nigeria, the Lord has been keeping the nation as one. Explaining why the church organized the programme and the choice of Eagles Square as venue, the fire-spitting preacher said, “The subject of this gathering is the Kingdom is the Lords. That is the theme of the gathering, Nations Worship in his Presence. We are here for five basic things. “Firstly, we are here to handover our nation to God through the instrumentality of worship and prayers. To say Lord we hand over this nation to you because we cant help ourselves. “Secondly, we are here to establish the sovereignty of our God through the power of worship and prayers. “We are also here to enthrone our God and give Him His glory and to hand over the nation to him. “Another reason we are gathered here is to uproot the root of evil and wickedness in our nation through worship and prayer. “Fifthly, we came here to frustrate and nullify the agenda of evil against our nation through the instrumentality of worship. “Our nation today is in a very terrible deep situation that is in urgent need of intervention. We cannot deny that fact that despite everything, we have seen the help of God. We have seen the subjugation of terrorism that was based majorly in north eastern part of the country. We have seen the continuation of our corporate existence despite monumental agitations and challenges. There are countries that never saw one-tenth of what we saw and scattered in pieces, but Nigeria is still together as a nation. “But in the face of all the positive things we have seen, we have also seen very terrible situations that anybody who is rational in thinking, and who would settle and think, would know that right now we need Divine intervention. “First of all, the plagues and the menace of the herdsmen brutality and killings of innocent citizens with brazen effrontery and at times with the temerity to state the reason they do all these things without any consequence. “We have such a situation in our land that needs the help of God. When innocent people wake up the next day only to discover that their farmland is gone, wives are gone, children are gone, husbands gone and a whole community becomes refugees in their own nation. We need intervention. We have an epidemic of suffering and hardship in the land. We have seen a level of misery and wretchedness that we have not seen before now. “Now, this is not the time for anybody to point accusing fingers at the other person. It is not the mater of who caused it, whether it was the past or present administration, that is not important now, God knows who caused it. But the most important thing is that we have a change of climate, a climate of scarcity. You see, I have been pastoring for over 21 years, but the request of welfare need we have had from people in recent times is unbelievable. “People ejected from houses, children dropped out of schools as well as hunger everywhere. And we are saying, Lord, we need your Divine intervention; however you will do it, help our nation. That is why we are here tonight and I am happy because everybody from all walks of life, and from both sides of the divide is here. “In our nation today, the level of hostility and animosity has increased to a very alarming rate. Antagonism and distaste for one another is the order of the day, either on the basis of religion or ethnicity. This is so alarming that many people are wondering what has happened suddenly, our nation is at such a crossroad that we need urgent and crucial intervention,” he noted. On why they opted for the Eagles Square as venue of the programme, the cleric explained thus, “This venue is strategic because this is the ground where the destiny of the nation is determined. This is the ground where power is sworn in over our nation.” “Now, throughout scripture, there was outcome of praise and worship, in other words, when people praise and worship God from the heart, these seven things happen. They include, walls of limitations crumble, enemies’ weapons turn against each other. We are here to say that anyone planning to kill people in this nation, may their weapon begin to turn against each other. “If death is good, those who want others to die let them taste that death. Other things that happens when genuine praise and worship go before God is that chains are broken and doors open. Unclean spirits are cast out when praise and worship is offered unto God. Divine direction is released when worship go up. Supernatural supplies are released. Also, the glory of the Lord fills the land when worship goes up. “And our key is the key of worship in spirit and truth as well as in the beauty of holiness. “But while I was done with my preparation of this message, the Lord said I should give a word to leaders. Either governmental leaders, political leaders, spiritual leaders, anybody in any leadership position. God gave me seven key thoughts for them They should remember that: 1-“It is a privilege to be entrusted with leadership and not a right. 2-The leader is not better than the majority of the people he/she leads. 3-You do not have the stage forever. Every leader has an inescapable title that he will one day bear, that is – “former......” 4- While you have the stage, make sense on time. Since you don’t have the stage forever. There are people waiting, queuing up to make sense. 5- You will be judged by history, either for good or for bad. 6-Your impact is superior to your income. It is your posterity that will determine your impact and not your prosperity 7-You will be judged in eternity before the almighty God for your stewardship on earth. Those people that perished and were wasted under our watch, what we did and what we failed to do about it, shall be a basis for your judgement. The fact is, You will be judged for your stewardship on earth. SOURCE>>>>http://www.idomavoice.com/2018/01/dr-paul-enenche-admonishes-leaders-as.html

Protesters numbering over 500, Thursday, shutdown the capital city of Abuja, in protest of the protracted clashes between farmers and herdsmen, which have resulted to deaths of many Nigerians in Benue, Taraba States and others parts of the country. The group, under the aegis of Good Governance and Transparency Initiative is calling on the Nigerian government as well international community to urgently wade into the foot-dragging crises, which have rendered many citizens homeless and bereaved. The protesters, who were seen displaying placards, bearing various inscriptions, called for the urgent probe of governors Samuel Ortom of Benue and Darius Ishaku of Taraba States over their involvement in the attacks. Speaking on behalf of the group, Mrs. Jaiyeola Mohammed, the Executive Director, said the attitudes of Ortom and Ishiaku speak volume, a clear case of hand of Esau but voice of Jacob. Mohammed alleged that Ortom, especially has using the state's resources to cover up his mess by sponsoring protests abroad. She voiced the stand of the group thus, "Our bigger worry, however, is the inaction that has continued to allow attention to focus on the wrong sources of the crisis. There is so much of playing the ostrich going on while the crisis festers. Our thoughts are that the problem in Benue state would have been contained to that geographical entity and promptly dealt with to save other states from suffering the fallout of a politically and ethnically motivated crisis. " A killing related to the crisis in Benue has been reported in Ekiti while Taraba, Nasarawa, Plateau and even Kaduna are practically on edge because of what has happened in that state. "It is most unfortunate that instead of accepting reality and admitting what he did wrong to provoke the current crisis, Governor Ortom has rather engaged in looking at the cause of the problem in every other place except within himself. "This is despite the barrage of documentary evidence of him setting up militias and placing firearms in their arms to kill herdsmen. He is yet to explain what he stands to gain from the deaths of Benue people that he knew would definitely result from reprisals from the activities of his militias. "The Benue state governor has even taken things a step further by deploying N1 billion of his state's fund to finance protests in major cities of the world as we earlier alerted. Not even the shame of being discovered as manipulating events was enough to dissuade this governor from this folly. Our concern is how a state governor could spend so much of his state's resources on just eight ( protesters in the United States. We then wonder how much he has spent on the hundreds of militias he has organized and how much he has expended on their weapons. "Our group is interested in the peaceful resolution of the conflict between herdsmen and farmers, which is why we are staging this protest to demand a full investigation of the roles of the Governor of Benue State, Mr. Samuel Ortom and his Taraba state counterpart, Mr. Darius Dickson Ishiaku in sponsoring ethnic militias to wipe out people of Fulani origin. " Only such investigation would reveal facts that will prevent a full descent into state sponsored ethnic cleansing that has repercussions for all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. "The investigation should include terms of reference that will yield recommendations in pursuit of identifying militia members and recovering the weapons reportedly issued to them by these governors or their agents." A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Martins Ogbiya, has revealed what could be done to end the needless clashes between farmers and Fulani herdsmen, which have resulted into loss of lives and valuables in the country. According to Ogbiya, a leading governorship hopeful on the platform of the party in Bayelsa State, the thorny issues around herdsmen/farmers' relations would eventually be resolved through dialogue and reconciliation irrespective of the extent of damage done. He made this remark at the thanksgiving/ birthday ceremony of a newly promoted army officer, Major Gen. Henry Ayamasaowei. He explained that it was best that peaceful options were explored in this case as opposed to Nigerians suffering needless losses only to return to dialogue at the end. He recalled that militancy crisis in the Niger-Delta was eventually contained largely through dialogue, which he said, “was proof that non-violence is the best prescription for the resolution of the current crisis that is threatening large swathes of the country as concerned parties put up stiff resistance to protect their livelihood, land and centuries-old ways of life." Ogbiya also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his steadfastness in addressing serious security crises in the country while calling for understanding among Nigerians for the President in his quest to deliver on all his campaign promises. He said President Buhari was a man of integrity, desirous of fixing all the problems militating against the county but needed time and the cooperation of Nigerians to get this done. The aspirant, during the event saluted the Nigerian Army under Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai for remaining professional and apolitical paving way for highly disciplined officers like Maj. General Ayamasaowei to rise meritoriously to his new rank. source>>>http://dailypost.ng/2018/01/23/fulani-herdsmen-apc-chieftain-martins-ogbiya-proffers-solution-killings/

By Prince Ogboji Ogboji A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress from Benue State, Hon. Chief Johnson Agada, has lambasted the ]state governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom, for calling for the head of Audu Ogbeh at the height of the recent attacks on Benue by suspected Fulani herdsmen. Agada said the attacks on Ogbeh by Ortom's praise singers were uncalled for because the governor was probably at a motor park in Gboko, Makurdi or Gbajimba when the elder statesman was Minister of Communications in the 80s when Alhaji Shehu Shagari held sway. Chief Agada stated this in the early hours of Saturday via his social media platform while reacting to the alleged rift between governor Ortom and Ogbeh over the recent alleged Fulani herdsmen attacks on two communities in Benue State The governor had in a meeting accused the Minister of Agriculture of not being truthful to President Muhammadu Buhari on the true state of the attack on the two Benue communities. Agada questioned why should a failed governor like Ortom mobilize some Benue people against Chief Ogbeh who had fought tooth and nail to bring federal presence to the Benue valley His words, "I just read one Stephen Akuma describing the trio of Chief Ogbeh, governors Lalong and Bello of Plateau and Kogi States as 'Efulefu'. I don't know the meaning of Efulefu in Tiv language but in my Idoma dialect, an Efulefu is a useless person who is of no value to himself or herself and the society in general. Chief Ogbeh is not by any stretch of imagination fit into Akuma's description above." Agada recalled that the honourable Minister of Agriculture, Chief Dr. Audu Ogbeh was a senior lecturer with A.B.U. Zaria and later head of department of Murtala College of Arts and Sciences (MUCAS) -now Benue State Polytechnic, before venturing into politics in 1979 on the prompting of his Otukpa people who asked him to contest election into Benue State House Assembly representing Otukpa State Constituency which he won and became the deputy speaker of the house, a position he held till 1981 when President Shehu Shagari appointed him as the cabinet minister of communications and reappointed him again in 1983 after Shagari's re-election. "The Ortom whom Akuma is struggling to defend was at this time an agbero in the park at various garages in Gboko, Makurdi, Gbajimba etc. Ortom himself acknowledged being lifted by God from the motor park as a garage tout." Agada who said he has no authority to speak for the two middle belt governors, mentioned in the demeaning post by one Stephen Akuma, noted that "but I know Gov. Ortom cannot equal Gov. Simon Lalong (Mr ALERT) who has been scored higher in terms of salary payment and infrastructural development Agada declared that the state wage bill as at the time former Governor Suswam left office in 2015 was N2.6b according to the Kpojime Committee report, a committee set up by the Governor Ortom led State government. The APC chieftain further expressed shocks that the Governor who told them during a stakeholders' meeting that he was saving cost -having reduced numbers of Commissioners from 20 to 13, Advisers from 28 to 15, SSA and SA from over 300 to less than 100 would declare that the salary wage bill for the State grew in geometrics from N2.6 billion to N7.8 billion without any official employment since he came on board as governor of the state. Agada advised Governor Ortom to halt any attempt to use the Hon. Minister of Agriculture as a scapegoat for his incompetence, stressing that the Agric Ministry under Dr. Audu Ogbeh's watch is the most vibrant ministry in the current dispensation He urged the governor to as a Christian rise above being the Nyamkiume Nzorov and take the entire Benue as his constituency instead of this tribal and clannish bigotry he is engaged in "When the Idomas lost over 700 innocent souls in Agatu, the governor never declared mass burial or public holiday to mourn their deaths but as soon as his council ward in Nzorov was involved, it became Benue problem and the president of the republic must be insulted. During the Agatu massacre, Governor Ortom took Governor of Nasarawa State to Agatu in a chopper to convince Agatu people to cede the land to fulani." The statement read in part Agada accused Governor Ortom of frustrating the Agric Minister's efforts to bringing a lasting solution to the farmers/herdsmen perennial crisis, adding that those excuses meant to persuade Benue workers from asking for their 9-11 months salary arrears are no longer tenable, stating that the governor must go and pay his workers salaries instead of trying to compare himself with Chief Dr. Audu Ogbeh who's known for his competence and integrity.

The Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Abuja, Dr Paul Enenche, has declared that it was high time people started defending themselves against those killing people in Nigeria either in the name of politics or religion. The fiery preacher affirmed that people would no longer fold their arms and watch others maim and waste them for no reason. He gave this message barely 24 hours after pouring out his heart on the senseless killings of Nigerians in Benue, Taraba States and other parts of the country. Speaking on a Friday evening service monitored by IDOMA VOICE, the cleric backed his call for self defense from both the bible and the Nigerian constitution. He recalled how God humbled former Libyan dictator, Mummar Gaddafi when he tried to call for the disintegration of Nigeria some years back. His words, "It is time for us to pray to God to whom vengeance belongs to show himself in Nigeria. "One of the greatest challenges that can happen on earth is the challenge of ignorance. "I am sure you are aware of what I may call the war of attrition from a certain select group of people that want to relentlessly and continuously attack and weary communities into submission in Nigeria. "But I announce that anybody who is interested in the destruction of Nigeria, destruction shall never leave his generation. "Whoever and wherever that person is, either in this nation or outside this land because our history told us that nobody ever interested in the destruction of Nigeria ever survived. "I know of a man called Gaddafi (of Libya), who about the years 2010/2011 was dictating what should happen in Nigeria. "At a point, he suggested that Nigeria should be divided along religious line. "And there seemed to be suggestions that he had a hand in what was happening in the nation as at then - to destroy lives. "But the question is, where is Gaddafi and his generation today? "I say this as a signal to anybody across the length and breadth of this nation that anyone interested in the wastage of Nigeria, may God waste him and his generation. "In Benue, just yesterday, about 75 people were given a mass burial because of some satanic vagabonds but enough is enough. "Let me say two things before we pray because we have a high level of ignorance. "Nobody has the right to take another man’s life either it is in the name of religion or politics, or cultism. Under Our constitution, the right to life is guaranteed under section 33 sub section 1 of the 1999 constitution as amended. It says, "everybody has the right to life and no one shall be deprived intentionally of his life safe in execution of the sentence of a court in respect if a criminal of which he has been found guilty in Nigeria. "I announce that anybody wasting lives in this nation, the same way shall his generation be wasted. "Now, hear this, whatever a person does to prevent himself from being killed is not an offence. It is in the constitution. "Section 59 of the penal code says, nothing is an offence of which is done in the lawful exercise of the right of private defense. "Also, section 60 of the penal code provides that; "The right of private defense extends to; (a) the defense of his own body and body of any other person against any offense affecting the human body. (b) the property either movable or immovable of himself or of any other person against any act which is an offence under the definition of theft, robbery, mischief or criminal trespass or which is an attempt to commit any of those offences. "In other words, it is not an offence for someone to defend himself or another from being killed. "So what is the useless nonsense about those who think they have the claim to take life at will and go unarrested and unharassed. The end of it has come. Enough is enough. Lets back it up from the bible. "Gen 9:6 says, who Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. so sheeded man’s blood by man. "Meaning the killer is qualified for killing. "That action is not an offence because he came to finish people and the people gathered and finished him. Those people did nothing wrong. "Exodus 22:2 summed it up thus: If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him. "Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him. Proverbs 26:27. Also in Rev 13:1 "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Did you read what the penal code said, “you are entitled to defend yourself and another person around, against attackers, and you want to watch them waste your wife and children? "They went into one house, pulled down everybody, ripped woman’s pregnancy open, plucked out the eyes of a little boy and left him alive with the two eyes plucked out. Enough is enough. "Let’s look at what Jesus said about self defense. "Matthew 26:51-52. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. "From what we read, are you not surprised a disciple was following Jesus with a knife? "Jesus never asked him to throw away the knife, Jesus never questioned him how he got the sword, Jesus was never surprised that his own disciple was going about with him with a knife. He didn't tell him, why go about with a knife, don't you believe in prayers? "Dont be deceived, everything people need is in the Bible. "I thought Jesus would be surprised seeing his own disciple carrying a knife, but rather, he told him to keep the knife back, for this occasion I am meant to die. He said don't use it now, keep it back because you may need it later "And i am not asking you to use it to fight or attack people, but in case they come near you... Also in Luke 22:35-36 "And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. It means a time will come when the sword would be more important than the garment. "Let me make this clear, there shall be no war in Nigeria but no demonic vagabond shall take anybody for granted in this nation anymore. Enough is enough. "I don't want to be misunderstood, no Nigerian more patriotic than us. We have been praying for this nation and we won't stop doing that." The Coalition of Civil Society Organizations for Transparency in Governance, has warned the United Kingdom and United States governments to steer clear the issues surrounding the clash between men of the Nigerian Army and members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, INM, in December 2015 where some persons were reportedly killed, saying that their 'intervention' after relevant authorities have done justice to it was unnecessary. The CSO was reacting to a recent statement credited to British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, where he called for accountability on the ongoing investigation into the incident. According to Arkwrigh, several investigations, reports and recommendations have remained unimplemented. “It is two years since the #Zaria incident when some 350 Nigerians were killed by the military. Since then there have been several investigations, reports and recommendations. “But a number of recommendations remain to be implemented. We call for accountability on all sides,” Arkwright had tweeted. Reacting to the envoy’s submission at a press conference during the weekend, CCSOTCG through its convener, Nkechi Odoma, described the call as an attempt by the US and UK to influence the presidential panel of inquiry like a “school boy.” According to her, the group had no choice than to intervene in the unwarranted efforts at pushing Nigeria to the edge and make it into a failed state by agents of destabilization, who unfortunately have found willing local collaborators. She said, “We have had cause in the past to raise the alarm over such moves following which the agents of destabilization would run underground. While we are not surprised that they have again resurfaced, their penchant for playing the hydra headed monster is something that should alarm the world as it is obvious that humanity, and by this we mean the world, cannot afford another destabilized country in its inventory after the same bloodthirsty gang have conflagrated the Middle East, North Africa and other regions that were once stable. “Let us warn at this point that the gimmick of these evil enterprises is usually masqueraded as calls or demands for a country to comply with "international standards" that are not observed in or by any other nation on earth. Once the country begins to implement such charade an immediate consequence is the undermining of the institutions and autonomy of the state in favour of terrorists that enjoy the cover of these interests. “In one instance, the panel requested that Amnesty International volunteer information on the mass graves it had reported were holding the remains of extra judicially executed persons. Till date that international NGO has not been able to oblige the panel apparently because its reports were products of fertile imaginations that delivered blockbuster worthy fictions in the guise of reality. As well documented by other organizations, including outside Nigeria, this has been Amnesty International's stock of trade, lying to protect terrorists and criminal elements for the sole objective of pushing countries into crisis or sparking off crises where the nation is originally at peace. “We have reliable information that the US and UK are desperately trying to coerce the Presidential Panel of Inquiry into a decision of their choice. Their goal is to dictate the recommendations that the panel comes up with. We further learnt that their desired recommendations have the sole aim of finishing off sub-Sahara Africa's last fighting forces with the intention of weakening the region so that ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorists they have groomed in the Middle East can relocate to North, West and Central Africa following their defeat at the hands of Russian backed troops. “We continue to wonder why the US and UK obsession with Nigeria. Ordinarily, US should be concerned about the growing extra-judicial executions by police departments across that country and the homegrown terrorism it has christened "mass shootings". UK should face the reality of the terrorists it had imported wholesale into its fold following the guilt trip from its misadventure in the Middle East. We will not permit them to export their brand of evil into our beloved country. These two imperial nations may wish to be reminded that the Zaria incident they are aiming to exploit to compromise the panel has been sufficiently addressed by that body and also previously dealt with by the Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up by the Kaduna State Government. Since the US and UK are so vested in the incident, they should have taken advantage of when these bodies were sitting to air their views but they would rather rig the outcome of a panel that is committed to objectivity. They now want to use through the backdoor to influence the Federal Govts Panel of investigation on the military's ROE and it's compliance. “Our coalition warn the US and UK to steer clear of Nigeria’s internal affairs. There is no evidence that Nigeria has interfered in the way these two die hard imperialist nations deal with what they perceive as threat to them. “The second leg of our warning goes to members of the Presidential Investigative Panel not to betray the oath they swore to at their inauguration. They cannot afford to be influenced by these agents of global destabilization. The Presidential panel must be neutral and objective and base it's recommendations on what transpired during its sittings.” SOURCE>>>>http://dailypost.ng/2017/12/16/imn-group-blasts-us-uk-obsession-nigeria/

By Ameh Ameh The Resident Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Makurdi Central, Pastor Oloche King Adaji, has fired back at Pastor Sunday Adelaja of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, Ukraine, over his recent attack on Dr. Paul Enenche and other Nigerian clerics. Oloche, in a short article posted on his official Facebook page, wondered why the same Adelaja, whom his spiritual father, Dr. Enenche had made references to in his preaching in major conferences could openly come out to attack him and the commission. Adelaja recently came hard of Nigerian pastors, including revered God’s General, Dr. Enenche, accusing them of fooling their members and performing rituals and magic in church in the name of miracle. His assertion however, did not go down well with many people as they literarily ‘tore him apart’ on social media. Reacting to Adalaja’s shocking outburst, Pastor Adaji urged the Ukraine-based pulpit handler to stop diverting attention and address the scandal hanging around his neck. He said the ministry would not cease to pray for his (Adalaja) soul. The outspoken preacher wrote thus. #A_word_from #Pst_Oloche_King_Adaji #To_Sunday_Adelaja The Adeleja we know was a part of revolution, one of the leading voices in Europe. A Nigerian preacher we were proud of. A man that even God’s servant Dr. Pst. Paul Enenche my father in the Lord was proud of and made references to in his preaching in major conferences of the Commission (Dunamis). A Sunday Adelaja, which he encouraged the prayer band of the church to uphold in prayers. Not a Sunday Adaleja who has nothing else to do. No church to pastor, but raise voice of aimless, baseless and senseless accusation against the very man who loved him and wished him well. God can give you a second chance if you’re humble and face reality, instead of diverting attention from real issues. The economy you’re claiming to love and defend now, how much have you contributed to the economy? I wish you are bold enough to address the real issues of the Nigerian economy. When pride enters, mistakes and failures destiny is complicated. Humility is the sure way to freedom and restoration. Man can become the focus of your preaching when you’ve exhausted the revelations from Genesis to Revelation. We will not stop praying for your soul Pst. Sunday Adelaja. A Benue-born lawyer and human rights activist, Bar Abbas Ochogwu has warned Sunday Adelaja of Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, Ukraine over his constant attack on Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre and other ministers of God. Adelaja had in a controversial video shared on his Facebook page, accused top Nigerian pastors of performing magic in the church. Adelaja, who shared a video of Dr. Enenche, where him and his wife, Becky were seen proclaiming parental blessings on the congregation with their hands on their heads, said action was a ritual. He also named other top ministers in the country for misleading congregation. Reacting however, Ochogwu, in a letter addressed to the Kiev-based preacher warned him to desist from attacking God’s General, Enenche and the entire commission. He cautioned the cleric against inviting the wrath of God upon his life with his constant attacks on God’s anointed. His letter reads. DR. SUNDAY ADELAJA’S CONSISTENT ATTACK OF DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE My attention has recently been drawn to certain derogatory remarks made by Sunday Adelaja alias DSA on God’s Servant my father in Lord, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche. Initially, I dismissed the information as totally untrue and unthinkable until I looked up the said Dr. Sunday Adelaja and to my utter shock and bewilderment saw several files pop up of Dr. Sunday Adelaja making very strange, terrible, untrue, sad and unfortunate self-damming remarks about not just God’s servant Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche but other veterans in the gospel like Bishop David O. Oyedepo and Pastor E.A. Adeboye. I am compelled circumstantially to do this write up to salvage the microscopic few who may be deceived by the personality of Dr. Sunday Adelaja maligning and attacking God, thinking they are attacking Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche, David O. Oyedepo and Pastor E.A. Adeboye to their own self-destruct as it happened in the matter of Dathan, Koran and Abiram who attacked Moses, the servant of God and the earth opened up to swallow them promptly (See Numbers 16:1-35). I also do this write up with a high sense of spiritual and moral responsibility calling on all Christians to rise and contend for the faith once delivered to the Fathers (Jude 3) as an attack on the Fathers of the faith is an attack on the Christian faith. Dr. Sunday Adelaja in his posts in the electronic media continue maligning and castigate other Ministers as being totally wrong except himself. A core manifestation of carnality according to the scriptures. The scriptures are clear on those who are not afraid to speak up against God's annointed. I denounce in strong terms the continuous denigration of the personality of God’s servant Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche and urge all Christian and faithful followers of the Ministry of Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche not to be distracted or daunted by this for we are not unaware of the devices of the enemy.

The embattled former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina, has volunteered to testify as a state witness against the 43 pension thieves he arrested while in office. Maina said he would appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, only if the anti-graft agency is ready to account for the recovered cash and asset worth N1.63tr. Maina, speaking through his lawyer, Barr Sani Katu, said he is ready to turn himself in on the condition that the agency would resume the prosecution of the suspects he had apprehended. He also said Government should know that he is not on the run, but fears for his life, as some elements within the EFCC feel threatened by evidences and documents in his possession that could send them to jail. Katu in a statement Tuesday night, said. “He (Maina) is never afraid of the EFCC or any anti-graft agency. In fact, he is ready to testify as a state witness against the 43 pension thieves he arrested provided the EFCC is ready to account for why they failed to secure conviction of these suspects since 2011. Government and Nigerians ought to start asking these questions.” “We have all the facts and documents ready to back up our testimony and would will readily present it to the appropriate independent panel of enquiry as soon as “we are ready to confront the real corrupt elements”. “Mr President needs to ask for answers to logical questions to get to know what EFCC is actually doing. “We want to still reiterate our earlier affirmation that under the leadership of Maina as the pension board, 43 persons were arrested and handed over to the EFCC to prosecute while 222 houses were seized from them. “In the current media trial where all manners of stories have been published, there have been a lot of distortion of facts and sometimes outright blackmail, all in an attempt to paint the PRTT boss black. “The Pension cabal has penetrated the system so much that their presence can be seen and felt in high places. We request for an enabling environment to put things in their right places vide documentary evidences. “It is only a wicked man that runs when no one chases him. Whenever the EFCC and other anti-graft agencies are ready to go for actual prosecution the 43 pension thieves arrested some years back, Maina would not only see credibility and help EFCC in prosecuting the suspects, but surely say his own side of the story. Nigerians are wiser than some people may think.” SOURCE>>>http://dailypost.ng/2017/11/22/account-n1-63trn-cash-assets-recovered-maina-dares-efcc/

The latest has not been heard on the controversy surrounding the ongoing ‘war’ between the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Returns, Abdurasheed Maina. Maina in a latest revelation through his lawyer, Barr Sani Katu, claimed that the federal government of Nigeria was owing him over N159BN, as against the N2.1bn he is being accused of siphoning while in office. The embattled ex-PRTT boss challenged the anti-graft agency to set up at an open panel of investigation where he would spew out all the unknowns to Nigerians. In a statement issued on Sunday, Katu recalled that, “In 2011, Maina stopped the stealing of N300m daily from police pension. Also, in 2011, he stopped the stealing of N1.04bn monthly from police pension allocations “Same 2011, he was able to stop the yearly stealing of N52.5bn, which has been an annual ritual at the head of service pension “It would interest you to know that between 2011 and 2012 the PRTT under Maina’s leadership recovered cash and asset worth N1.63trn which had been with the EFCC. “It would be recalled that some pensioners petitioned had the National Assembly to ensure that EFCC produce these recoveries so that Nigerians would know. “Similarly, between 2016 and June 2017, Maina, released the intelligence and tip-offs that stopped the annual stealing of N1.3trn. (This has been confirmed by the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Federation). "Also, between February 2017 to October 2017, Maina recovered N152bn, N60bn, and other sensitive materials. These achievements go to further to prove the importance of Maina to this country. It means the Government acted in public interest by obeying Court order which brought Maina to office. “It could be recalled that Maina was shot at and dismissed by the pension cabal. The 7th Senate asked for his head, he approached the High Court and got judgement and is now being accused of stealing N2.1bn which is not even a .000001% of what he is supposed to be paid by Government. Are we actually fighting corruption or playing cartel games?” the lawyer queried. The statement further added, “Now let's total what Maina recovered, then apply the whistle blower 5%, and get the total to be paid to Maina, then subtract N2.1 bn which even though is a complete fabrication by the EFCC, then pay him the balance of over N159bn." Speaking further, the lawyer added, “Nigerians are not stupid and cannot be deceived. They want to take our attention away from all these recoveries because they have repeatedly failed to account for them. "Our attention cannot be diverted away from about N4tr to a mere N2.1Bn which is an insignificant percentage the N2.1bn, which is less of all the recoveries. “Let’s meet at an open panel of investigation if the EFCC is truly straightforward. We urge the Government to appoint an independent panel of investigation and see who will run out of Nigeria.” SOURCE>>>http://dailypost.ng/2017/11/19/nigerian-government-owing-maina-n159bn-lawyer/ seun, lalasticlala, mynd44

THE National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has written to President Muhammadu Buhari, calling for an open public investigation into looted pension fund. In a letter to the President dated November 2, 2017 and signed by its President, Comrade Aruna Kadiri, said though, the decision of the President to disengage Maina from service was as a result of misleading report presented to him by those who supposed to feed him with detailed development across the country. The NANS President said, “The decision was hasty and generally not of the interest of Nigerians. As a body of intellectualism, we observed that there is a ganged up against Mr Abdulrasheed Abdullahi Maina who was the chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Taskforce Team, PRTT under the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. “The PRTT has Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other offenses Related Commission, ICPC, the Department of State Security , DSS, the National Intelligence Agency, NIA, the Nigeria Police Force, the Accountant General of the Federation, the Auditor General of the Federation, the Federal Ministry of Finance among others. “We, as Nigerians can not be clouded by the diversionary method of the cabal to shift our minds from the N1.6 trillion to N2.1 billion. We also gathered that, immediately Mr Maina’s PRTT was disbanded, the then government created Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD). PTAD discontinued the on going biometric supervised by the PRTT and got approval of N8bn for the same biometric which up till now, is yet to be carried out. “The Director of Finance of Maina’s led PRTT is now the Director of pension in PTAD while Mr Ibrahim Lamorde of the EFCC heads the Police Special Fraud unit in Lagos. We believed that it is not possible for the chairman to steal such huge amount without the finance director and other team members if they actually stole public fund. Nigerians want to know the whereabouts of the N1.6 trillion recovered and the N5.32bn blocked by Mr Maina and his team in the head of service and police.” Comrade Kadiri also said, “Since the EFCC and ICPC were members of the Maina’s committee, and as well implicated in the looted treasury, an independent investigative panel be set up to properly investigate the allegations and counter allegations. An investigative panel with live coverage which will boost the anti corruption war of your administration will be highly appreciated by Nigerians. “For the sake of justice, equity and fairness, we also advice and recommend that your Excellency immediately reabsorb Mr Maina pending the outcome of the public investigation and if found wanting be properly prosecuted.” http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/maina-nans-writes-buhari-calls-open-investigation-looted-pension-fund/

As the preparation for the 2019 general election gathers momentum, youths of Idoma-Igede extraction haved called on elder statesman and renowned philanthropist, Chief Mike Onoja to contest for the Benue South Senatorial seat. The group, under the auspices of Idoma Conscience said the one-time Federal Permanent Secretary and All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain is the only person that is capable of brining back the zone’s lost glory. IC in a Statement signed by its coordinator, Wilson Onazi says, the Idoma-Igede Nation can not afford to toy with the future of the younger generation by allowing incompetent people who have failed in their previous assignments to continue in determining the future of the people of Benue South. He said, “We have been in search for a credible leader, who will succeed Senator David Mark in 2019. In fact, we have set a precedence that the Idoma-Igede nation must send the most qualified persons to the National Assembly, both in the house of representatives and in the Senate. From our findings, we have discovered that the most qualified of all Idoma-Igede sons living is Chief Mike Okibe Onoja.” Onazi says, the group shall lead a large delegation of over one thousand Idoma- Igede Youths across the Nine Local Government Areas of the Senatorial District to persuade Chief Mike Onoja to contest the Senate seat, 2019. The statement further called on all well meaning Idoma-Igede sons and daughters to join in convincing Chief Onoja to accept the offer. Chief Onoja has many titles conferred on him by the good people of Idoma community such as Agama Of Agila: The Ado traditional council in 1994 celebrated their son with the honorific title of Agama y’Agila, meaning War General of Agila. Akanaba K’idoma: The Idoma Area traditional Council through the late His Royal Highness the Och’Idoma Agabeidu Abraham Ajene Okpabi conferred on him the title Akanaba K’Idoma meaning the Supporting pillar of Idoma land. ‘Mike Absolute’ as he was popularly called by his peers is a very successful man whose success flows not from his material possession but from his love and kindness and his invaluable contributions to the development of Nigeria in general and Benue state in particular. He has over the years touched and changed many lives of Benue people irrespective of status, faces or ethnic coloration. http://www.idomavoice.com/2017/10/benue-2019-idoma-igede-youths-endorse.html

A socio-activist group, Igbos for Nigeria Movement, INM, has identified Emmanuel Kanu, the younger brother of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu as the face allegedly behind the recent Monkey Pox vaccine hoax in the South East region of the country.source http://dailypost.ng/2017/10/18/igbo-group-reveals-person-allegedly-behind-monkeypox-vaccine-hoax-south-east/

The Igbo for Nigeria Movement, INM, has fingered the outlawed Independent People of Biafra [IPOB] to be responsible for the reports in some quarters that the Medical Outreach of Operation Python Dance II by the Nigerian Army is to plant monkey pox viruses in some children, describing it as another wicked attempt to set Igbo people against the Nigerian Army and other members of the Nigerian State. Reacting to the development, INM said the circulation of the rumour has portrayed Ndigbo as unthinking and shallow-minded people who cannot differentiate between reality and fiction. Addressing newsmen on Tuesday on the report, national president of INM, Mazi Ifeanyi Igwe observed that the fact on ground showed that the larger population of the South East are law abiding citizens with very cordial relationship with the military and all security agencies in Nigeria, including the Nigerian Army., adding that only those with criminal intent which the Army has thwarted are pained and out to use anything possible being it outright falsehood or blackmail to discredit the Army. He said, “We want to appeal to Ndigbo to decisively deal with the IPoB problem as it has been established that this criminal lies emanated from the terror group. Even as the damage is unfolding, Emma Powerful, the supposed spokesperson of IPoB continues to make inflammatory remarks, which were sadly reported by some mainstream media that ignored the fact that his group is a designated terror organization. “Unfortunately, IPoB is laying the groundworks to kill and destroy more Igbo people than any security agency could have ever done even if they had mounted a coordinated genocidal campaign against the southeast geo-political zone. This is a concern that is backed up by logic: “The IPoB lies has practically shut down schools. Emma Powerful asked teachers and pupils to stay at home until Operation Python Dance II leaves the southeast. This is going to disrupt education calendar in Igbo areas and this will leave our students at disadvantage since the other parts of the country would not pause their calendar for the southeast. Since Operation Python Dance is now poised to be an annual event are we going to be shutting down our school every year while other regions make progress? “Should Monkey Pox evolve into an epidemic that requires mass vaccination the lies and rumours that have spread like wildfire will prevent people from accepting life saving inoculations and treatment. This could cause casualty on a catastrophic scale. Let us be reminded that some parts of the country only a few weeks ago have to get vaccinated for cholera. The vaccines were shipped and conveyed by people in the South that included Igbo yet persons of northern ethnicities that received the vaccines did not wrongly accuse or fear the Igbo even at a time IPoB's hate speech was at its vilest. The lies have set up our people to die needlessly should there be a national health emergency. “While IPoB’s lies may serve its immediate propaganda goal, it will create a new generation of vaccine deniers in the long term. We only need to take a cue from the impact of the anti-vaccines movements in the United States; they rely on the kind of rumours being spread in Nigeria now to push their agenda but the impact of the follies is being felt by way of resurfacing of diseases that the US had once eradicate while children are dying needlessly. Unless something is urgently done we are at risk of babies dying while those that survive would do so with the ravages of diseases like polio that vaccines could have easily dealt with. We will also bear the burden of staring afresh to roll back any eradicated disease that resurfaces as a result. “If our Hausa-Fulani brothers or any other ethnic group for that matter are resolute on decimating the Igbo as Emma Powerful is lying they will easily achieve that by tampering with our food sources since Nigeria's food chain is heavily interconnected. The southeast does not produce all the meat, fish, grains and tubers it consumes and these are items that can be tampered with or bioengineered to deliver pestilence. It is therefore unkind to accuse others of what we are incapable of,” he added. Igwe called on state and federal governments to take immediate steps to stop further propagation of the lies by getting legal interpretation on IPoB’s continuing capacity to issue statements as an already-labeled terror group. He said, “The court order that designated IPoB as a terror group also outlawed its activities which leaves us at a loss of why a terrorist under the name of Emma Powerful continues to freely operate with the group's name without being arrested. He should be immediately arrested. “Our hope is that the Nigerian Army would remain on standby with its Operation Python Dance II Medical Outreach to cater for those in need of medical attention once the lies making the rounds have been properly exposed.” http://thenigerian.news/news/monkey-pox-fake-news-set-ipob-igbos-group-alleges/

He wrote, "I went through the bushes and forest where, with catapults, bows and arrows, we had hunted rats and birds. I actually went with a catapult but never found a game. Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has claimed that the state government has spent no fewer than N50bn taking care of the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in the state. Ortom was reacting to rumour about diversion of relief materials and misappropriation of funds by some officials of his government meant for flood victims. When asked about the issue of misappropriation of fund and how much has been spent from the state’s pocket, Ortom said, "I think around 50 billion naira currently. "Like I said, there has been responses from the federal government, state government and other individuals and organisations. All that we needed was just some assistance. “We are making a comprehensive analysis, at the end we will make a decision depending on the availability of funds. "Since we cannot pay all the salaries, we agreed that we will combine two months and pay for one month, so people can have allowance to do other things. Discussions are still going on and I’m also discussing with other financial institutions to see if we can find a way around it. “But I still believe that if this process that we have adopted is the desired one, we still have to go step by step so we cannot inflict pain on the workers. One thing I know is that with this inflation, whatever people get is not enough. The good thing is that we are discussing and as we are discussing, we will find a way out of it,” he told Sun. God's choice servant and veteran in the gospel, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre Worldwide, yesterday visited the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in Makurdi, the Benue State capital. Recall that over 200,000 persons were recent rendered homeless by flood in the state. Dr. Paul Enenche, who was accompanied by the pastor of the Makurdi branch, Pastor Oloche King Adaji spent time at the IDPs camp where he prayed and donated relief materials to the victims. The cleric, who was received by the deputy governor of the state, Engr. Benson Abounu, donated relief materials to the flood victims. Addressing the IDPs during his visit, Dr. Enenche urged them not to allow the disaster deter them from their union and communion with God. He couldn't hold back his passion as he also prayed and ministered to the sick in the camp. Touched by the magnitude of the human sufferings and the level of the devastation caused by the flood, the Benue-born preacher called on the relevant authorities to take necessary steps in order to forestall further reoccurrence. “This is most unfortunate and sad. We feel your pains and the trauma this incident must have caused you. This is a temporary set back, which I known would surely come to pass in no distant time. I urge you all not to allow this deter you from your communion with God,” he said. In his response, the state’s deputy governor, Engr. Abounu thanked Dr. Paul and his wife, Becky for the kind gesture. He informed them that the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo had during his last visit to the state assured them that the federal government would dredge River Benue to stop further disaster.
