First off... Impeccable choice of trailer song, just scintillating..."Pixies" where is my mind" is such a pristine choice πŸ‘πŸΏ

Secondly... Yeah this look so good, like it's actually the first MCU project that has gotten me excited to look forward to in awhile, based off this visuals.

Thirdly....is that Buckky!😭....

The esssnc of appreciation of work of art IS YOU HAVING YOUR OWN VERDICTS AND YOUR CRITICISM BASED ON WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN AND ACKNOWLEDGE.

It's only in science that experts works. Literature is mind and brain
How is choosing Bale as the batman ever comes off as a product of influence by external factor or by what critics said? undecided. Do your own independent search and see, he ranks in and around the Top 3 in most lists not drawn up by critics, and Ben Affleck doesn't even smell Top 5 in most list.

It isn't even about skillset, cuz given they are both immensely talented actors. But an Iconic comic book character such as "The Batman" takes more than just talent to be translated well to live action. The story has to be good, the supporting cast has to be good, the props has to be good... everything needs to be perfect for the "The Batman" character to work well on live action and Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy had all these....no gainsaying it earned the first major Oscar win or so for a CBM.

of all these series, Westworld was my favourite.

HBO really messed up with Westworld, moving the script to the city was a wrong move,
They should have left everything on the desert.
They truly messed up for real.
the western theme with horses was the best, i don't know why they changed settings.

I miss Dolores, she was my favorite in the show.
Bruhhh...Westworld S1 was truly special...the storytelling and world building was just peak TV, shame how it fell off so bad after then...ot was well and truly on it's way to, earning GOAT status after that S1....so untypical of HBO.

I'm sorry too say but you're just being ignorantπŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ if you've watched the first movie and do a bit of research, you'd know Mel Gibson has been working on a script for a sequel for 10 years and already had an idea the time The Passion came out. The movie would be about the events before, during and after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The writers of the movie has written Oscar winning movies and had never written a bad movie EVER!
People always hate on Mel Gibson but no one ever talks about how he has never made a bad movie yet.
I'm totally looking forward to this movieπŸ™. People always make fun of Christian movies and I'm not surprisedπŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
Pull your head out of your Γ ss and stop been overly dramatic and emotional like a pre puberty teen. If you were able to discern and construe the intent of the post and follow up comments, you'd know it had some sarcastic undertone to it being that nobody wants to see a sequel to "The Passion of Christ" or "The Resurrection of Christ" as you'd want to call it, in 2024!. The story has been told countless times over!, there are other stories to tell. The main takeaway being that all the sequels and remixes of movies from yester years that is a trend in Hollywood, points to the fact that there is a brain drain in terms of screen writing, if not why would an acclaimed Oscar winning screen writer still be banging on about probably one of the most well known story in history?.

I seriously doubt you care about movies and you mostly likely just see them for clout, but me, i do seriously care, and this year, I can't confidently count 10 movies of very high quality i have enjoyed, because the whole year has been riddled with nostalgic fare, that excites very little, and another one is been planned for a movie that came out 20 years ago, and you said i should lap it up because it's a Christian movie? Please be for real!!.

Moreover, no one wants to see a Christian movie about a story that holds such significance in Christendom from a man riddled with controversies that go against the very tenets of the faith and it's not like the first movie it's self was smooth sailing, it has been called out severally for been antisemitic and for various historical inaccuracies. There are countless movies around this theme that do great justice to it or simply just read your Bible 😩.

It's a good thing to thoroughly think before you spew any rubbish to avoid making badly informed statements especially in a fora like this, you might look like a dunce thereafter if not.

Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022).

β€œAs my obsession grew, I was saving body parts, such as skulls and skeletons.”

Jeffrey Dahmer, Jan. 12, 1993.

When Netflix did "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile": The Ted Bundy Biopic (2019), so well, i knew they had something for me and other true crime and serial killers profilers aficionado. My eyes literally lit up when they announced the "Monster" anthology series that focuses on Serial Killers and i was giddy when they chose Jeffrey Dahmer as the first profile, his psychopathy range is an all timer, he is one of the best studied profiles in the true crime docu world.

When the series came out last year, i had to let it marinate and i picked it up a day ago, and it kept me up till 3am, 2 days ago!. Maann, it was such top shelf serial killer biopic, that I don't even need any further true crime pod or docu on this cold, psychotic killer, the depiction exudes a next level realness on the chilling horrors of Dahmer's crime as he murdered and cannibalise 17 boys across racial lines, for no apparent reason, he stripped his victims to bones, and kept thier skeletons in bleach for perfect preservation and thier flesh, he kept for barbecue!, It earned him the chilling nickname name, The Milwaukee Cannibal.

The show runners altered some accounts of the actual story probably to make for better TV, the entire thing is great stuff still, they started from his arrest and worked thier way up from his troubled past to his murders, then trial. Evan Peters as Jeffrey Dahmer is an all timer casting, his depiction of the role was the finest quality and he adorned the blonde and glasses to completely match the physical profile of JD, you would have to watch carefully to catch the nuances of unbridled psychosis that is hidden his tempered mannerism..just an amazing top tier acting.

A decent watch i dare say, and an easy recommend for folks who love true crime docu, pod or depictions but stay away if true crime lore upsets you and makes your stomach squeaky because Jeffrey Dahmer was a sick, twisted and sadistic fellow and the show is pretty grime and bleak.

The show returns next year, taking on the MenΓ©ndez brothers, The dynamic duo, offed their Parents on a moonless night, because apparently, the inheritance money was taking too long.... Exciting stuff to look forward to tbh!.

8/10.
Yeah.... It's time for this 😩....The story of this season is like in my 10 top serial killing profiling piece and Netflix has decided to bring it to screen.

Seated all weekend for this feasting ✌🏾

He is an exceptional actor. The "Twilight Saga" tried to box him, but post that, he has been carefully chosing artistic roles that shows his range, and indie films will let him do this alot, that's why he's been in them more than blockbusters in recent times. Saw him as caring armed robber in "Good Times" (2017) and i instantly knew he was totally him!..peak acting.

lol make HBO still chow small because it seems Netflix and FX were flexing this year's Emmys and leaving no crumbs πŸ˜€.

"The Bear" is still the most awarded comedy show in a single night, yet it's very far from been a comedy... still blows my mind. But the showrunners/FX putting it in that category it's an all timer masterstroke, that move has cemented the show status inside 3 seasons/years, what could have taken comedy shows of yesteryears like Friends and the likes, years and a great deal number of seasons to achieve.

It is a telling sign of how hard, the comedy genre has fallen off, back in the day, you could have like 6 comedy shows with 23 long episodes/season going bar for bar on an Emmy night. I absolutely love "The Bear" but if it's the best comedy show in the last 3 years, and racking up this much Emmy like it's nothing, then this industry is so cooked and we might actually have a problem 😭

The movie is so straightforward. It's either you ridiculously hate it or extremely love it, no middle ground. I stand with the latter. I wasted over 2 hours on this last week, 2hrs plus i will never get back. The trailer promised me action, only for it to be like 90% unnecessary drama. Tried to be Jack Reacher so bad, and that didn't even bother me, they copied it poorly and landed an ambiguous and obnoxious ending.

Most of the praise for the movie, were for how the lead actor looked physically, than the actual storyline, and that says alot and the Bro immediately went on a photoshoot express to promote the movie.

Brah, i had a review typed up in my notes, but i just backed out from posting it, cuz if i actually did post it, the mods would have banned my handle for like 40 years 😩

Brothers 😩... Netflix haven't had anything good for the better part of this year. The only worthwhile addition to their platform in months has been "Prison Break" which they don't even own!

And they have the nerve to keep increasing sub prices, and if you mistakenly opt out, they start goading you with lot of mails of a new exciting showings, only for you to indulge and meet the same rubbish...😩😭

Update:

Hello beautiful people. So I have been able to download "The Deliverance" movieπŸ˜„

Yesterday I was so frustrated. You can't begin to imagine but I carefully read all your comments and I appreciate all your inputs.

Thank you for the help.

I really appreciate you all.

After going through what you all said. I took a step back to analyze what could be the issue?

So I decided to try what phr0nesis said by using another browser. He mentioned he uses Opera.

Initially I was skeptical this might work becos I use and I was using Google Chrome and it wasn't working but I decided to try it today.

I downloaded Opera from my Playstore. Went on Nkiri.com and....

Boom....it was so SMOOTH. I was shocked.

No Ads...my Opera Ad blocker was automatically ON after downloading the Opera browser.

Download didn't take up to 15 seconds. (15sec is even much sef. Let me say 10sec...yeah).

Nkiri site was so Smooth.

Thanks guys. You all have made my day.

I love you all.

************************
It's 12.58AM.

Let me go back and continue watching the movie.

Ha...Welcome to the Dark side then, Matey! ☠️🫠

Psa is the goat when it comes to quick upload they usually upload latest episodes faster than all the other sites I use. But yeah the ads are a pain I only go there as a last resort when all my normal customers are delaying in uploading an episode.
How are you guys still having this same ads issue using PSA when they are literally tons of Telegram channels offering their uploads at break neck speed and you can easily download with just a single click? If you know your way around Telegram, you wouldn't ever see the need of visiting the site ever.

Personally i haven't visited the site in ages, and yet like 70% of my media coping are Psa files.Tested thier quality in 2017, and i haven't looked back since. They are my absolute first option, the only downside is that they put emphasis on very high quality media, and so they tend to be very choosy with what the media they upload unlike Pahe or the likes that just upload just about anything 😩.

The difference between their files and others might be minimal or near negligible on mobile devices capped at 720p resolution, but as you go higher, with full HD 1080p screens with Amoled screen, thr difference becomes very very noticeable and if you favour seeing medias on larger screen like a PC or a Tv, the difference is so so distinct to the trained eyes. If you put files from O2tv or Awafim on a Full HD panel smart tv, you might need to visit an optician because of how blurry it would be 😩 compared to PSA files that would literally eat up all the pixels that the TV has to offer.

It was a good flick alright but it would have been great for me if they showed scenes from those murders they claimed the dude committed, it was just basically hearsay, we never actually saw the murders, just one picture of something that looks like a crime scene...

I tried really hard to picture the guy as the psychopathic murder they painted him to be, but I couldn't, all i saw was a guy with OCD..

Well it's N Shyamalan, that's his style of writing, so I guess i just have to let my immagination do the rest and complete the puzzle.
If we start picking holes, we might not leave here. There are so many inconsistencies and so many things that could have made it much much better. A strong first and second act, but the third act just went awol to almost cringe level...no wonder critics were tearing it up.

But at least, like we agreed, it was watchable, doesn't intrigue....but watchable.

Trap: As usual, movies from Night Shyamalan almost always on point. Very nice buildup, good suspense, and the cast did their part.

Just that bicycle spoke part, with all those eyes on him, he was able to do that? Haaaa.

Loved the maniacal laughter at the end

7/10.

Rebel Ridge: Nice buildup also, but the end was a let down, below par on what was seen on the trailer, the fight scenes were okay.

The Serpico dragging part is not even remotely possible cos dem for done light up his back with bullets.

He protagonist reminds me of Jack Reacher.

6/10
Plot armour 101. There were even some instances at the concert venue that defied logic but i will allow because it was a good flick as the movie accomplished what it set out to do and in good time. No time wasting or dragging on unnecessarily.

Eternals (2021)

A very sweet looking... beautiful.... nonsense ❀️

I have been playing cat and mouse with this one and i decided to give it a go.

I totally get why this, probably started the MCU decline phase we are currently in. True to it's name, the runtime was "eternal", but whole thing looked more like a parody, than an actual movie to be taken seriously, like the writing was so bottom tier. it's like they just called some actors and actresses that had "playing a superhero" on their wishlist, and to just come and run with any plot they are given. Boring characters interpreting boring roles with a plot that lacked any semblance of cohesion. Angelina Jolie was in there, but you'd almost not notice because of how lackluster her acting was.

But but, the VFX guys cooked ngl, the action sequence with them superheroes in full flight was so pretty well done. The Speedster swoosh effect was so cool, and one of the best speedster effects i have seen in a motion picture, just a shame it was wasted on this bottom barrel gargb but all these made for a pretty cinematography. You can just see this with the volume down to zero, in Full HD for background comfort.

At the post credit scene, they pulled out Harry Styles, and it was then i knew, they were actually not serious, and it was an error on my path to think this was a serious movie, to give any credence to. They even had the nerve to slap "Eternals will return", at the end, and i was like Return to where kwa? 😩😭...glad Kevin Feige duly scrapped any plans of this atrocity ever making a return to the big screen.

4/10.
