Several times the Nigerian govt told the whole world that they have killed the boko haram leader Shekau but he kept "resurrecting". Only once that ISWAP said they have killed Shekau, he died and a new leader has been appointed as evidence that he is dead. This is why we don't always believe the govt and tend to believe other sources, instead of the govt . Our govt has to do something about its integrity status, the worst thing is to have a govt that people find difficult to believe and trust. |
somtookeke:thanks |
Ahmed0336:I am already at work at this time of the day unlike u who may still be on the bed or looking for an innocent person to hack his bank account. Idiotic. Shit. |
Separate the office of the Artorney-General from that of the minister of justice, I will keep preaching this. The office of an Artorney-General is supposed to be for an unbiased professional unlike that of the minister of justice who is a politician and can be open to every Tom, Dick and Harry like our present one. The present AG has turned the exactly to be what the office was created to prevent ![]() |
If to say na me just get am now ![]() |
I read all through because I wanted to know how long it took to get to jumbo size but u ended up not saying it even though u spoke on other areas. Does it take a year, 2 years, 5 years? That was what I want to know. |
We have never heard that anything was stolen from other parts of Nigeria, apart from Benin. Was is that other parts had nothing worth being stolen at the time the Europeans came? I have always said it and my opinion still remains that the Binis were and still are the greatest victims of the invasion of the Europeans, they met them as a great empire and left them as a small, almost insignificant group ![]() |
Wasted investment. There is a parable in Benin that says that "no matter how sweet the meat of a tortoise is, you can never use it to serve a guest". Apart from native doctors and traditional worshippers, no other persons will intentionally patronise a "tortoise farm" . |
Gmajor:what he meant to say is that pound for pound, a jaguar is the strongest cat. |
This statement can't be from Desmond Elliot. He is always known to be on the side of policies that are anti-people, anti-freedom of speech and anything that is evil as long as it is pleasing to the govt he belongs to ![]() |
EmptyGarden:exactly an albino ![]() |
EmptyGarden:a panther is any jaguar or leopard that lacks its normal pigmentation, "Panther" is the name for it. Panther on its own does not exist. |
I can't just stop reading the part where the loser conceded and congratulated her opponent, she is even praising her opponent in the election and wishing him well. Nobody is talking about blood of baboons, dogs or even inciting the followers against the winner, nobody is talking about tribunal or telling his lawyers to take further actions. These people are too matured. For those that will mention Donald Trump's behavior in the last American election, he was just one "power miss road", u can't use the misbehavior of one person to judge countless others. |
Many are mad, but few are roaming . The last time I heard the word "oloko" on Nairaland, it was on a thread some days ago where a person i suspect to be this same OP, was claiming it to be the most "powerful phone" in the world. Now another incomprehensible thread on the same word "oloko" from somebody I doubt his state of mind ![]() |
"When Ashewo enter marriage, na holiday she go". She will always go back to her natural profession . Even if Kims marrys the man of "her dreams" now, it is only for a season. What is happening now has happened so many other times before and it will happen all over again. A man can never personalise what belongs to the street, it always end in premium tears. |
I'm in 100% support of NYSC being scrapped, not revamped. My reasons are: 1. All the trainings that corps members are supposed to be enjoying are given to irrelevant groups, under former president Jonathan, Militants were enjoying these trainings, under Buhari, Fulanis and "repented bokoharam" members are the ones enjoying it. I served in ogun state some years ago, I can't point to any meaningful training I had in camp. 2. The aim of NYSC to make corps members travel to other areas of the country has long been defeated because of security reasons. 3. Corps members are most times rejected by their PPAs. Corps members beg to be accepted and even promise not to demand the benefits like accommodation, transportation and a few others that they are supposed to be given all because they want their PPAs to accept them. 4. Some corps members don t participate but settle the officials and at the end of the day also receive their certificate just like others. It is a complete waste of 1 year, it is overhpyed. |
Nigeria is the closest country and experience to hell, nobody will remain here if there are opportunities to leave. Painfully, nothing on ground to show that things will improve, all signs point to the painful truth that things will only get worse . My advice to myself and also others is that while u pray and hope for a better Nigeria, also seek opportunities to leave here ![]() |
Even op doesn't know the specs. How I wish I can unread this post ![]() |
Big No. Somebody that is afraid to stand and defend his very own people can't also do it for people that are not his own. He has always sided with the Fulanis against his people even when his people are being killed by the same Fulani herdsmen , charity must first begin at home before it gets outside. |
The kind of respect these people pay to their dead always amazes me. From the immediate emergency response,to the neat Mercedes Hearse used in transporting the victims to the officers saluting as the Hearse drove by. I'm an tired of seeing victims of accidents in Nigera being transported in open police pickup vans with plantain/banana leaves to cover them . May their souls rip. |
GOFRONT:Dangote came from a very wealthy and connected background, don't believe what those motivational speakers say about him that he started from square zero. |
STEWpid:and u will expect a child like the one on the pic in your comment not to kill because of a cow all his life, that is impossible. An average herdsman shares same parent-child relationship with his cattle ![]() |
You are clearly seeing the signs, yet u want somebody to convince u that everything will be well . His pastor can only preach and advise u to make peace with him, It is normal for religious leaders to make peace between people but when there is injustice and exploitativeness like this coming from a prospective husband, such peace attempts must always be rejected immediately. |
The federal govt has already denied the report since yesterday. This is Nigeria where anything is possible. |
This govt sanctioned a corporate body for only interviewing IPOB, a banned group. But they have never sanctioned or arrested Sheik Gumi who openly frantanises with terrorists, this govt keeps looking the other way whenever this issue comes up. It has never been this bad. |
This is breathtaking . Good for tourism. |
Daum:a very low percentage of Nigerians visit the Museums compared to their foreign counterparts. I have only been there once. I would have loved to go again but no time. |
How many Nigerians visit Museums here in Nigeria? These artefacts will just be wasting in our museums except for the few private schools students who will visit to see them in the Museums during excursions. If not that they were stolen, I would have preferred them being borrowed to these countries where the artefacts will generate funds for the real owners of these artefacts. Tourism in Nigeria doesnt sell, the security, political and economic conditions of the country don't encourage tourism ![]() |
If it was true that this statement was truly released by a presidential spokesperson, what a shame and I weep in my heart ![]() |
The most difficult crimes to fight, are those committed by our kin, people of same religion, ethnic background and in some cases, profession. The dilemma of Mr President is understandable . It will take a stronger, unbiased and non-fanatical leader who respects his oath of office to do otherwise unlike our President ![]() |
DDDEnterprises:this won't be enough. While u and others are sharing this, the Nigerian govt at all levels, Fulani herdsmen, boko haram and other criminally minded Nigerian groups and individuals are doing unaccountable other evils to de-market Nigeria. A single good deed like this won't be enough to neutralise the effects of the actions of people I just listed above ![]() |
