BusinessRe: Binary Option Free Alert Season 3 by Ozonna(m): 5:28pm On Nov 16, 2013
accentuate: First you need to install Bollinger Bands with the usual setting on your chart. We will use the Stochastic Oscillator with the setting of 5,3,3 for spotting divergences. As you can see in the above screenshot we spotted a bullish divergence. Check that the price is touching the lower Bollinger Band before entering into a trade. The price is indeed touching the lower Bollinger Band. So we buy a one hour GBP/USD call and wait for one hour to check whether we won or lost. We did win as the above screenshot indicates. Now, the second screenshot below shows that after nearly 1 and a half hour, a bearish divergence appeared on the chart. This time the price is at the upper Bollinger Band. This means we are going to buy a one hour GBP/USD put this time. Check after one hour, we had won the trade.

You will get many many signals with this system daily. After one and a half hour their is another bearish divergence appearing on the chart. Price action is above the upper Bollinger Band. You have another setup for a trade. Buy a one hour GBP/USD put option. After one hour you had made 85%.

You might be wondering why this system works. This simple system works because it uses a simple law of statistics. Price action cannot deviate from the mean for long. This deviation of the price from the mean is being measured by the Bollinger Bands. The upper Bollinger Band is 2 deviations above the mean and the lower Bollinger Band is 2 deviations below the mean. So when the price touches these bands, it tries revert to the mean. While reverting to the mean, most of the time it overshoots and touches the other band. When it does it changes direction and again tries to revert to the mean and in the process now touches the other band and the process continues all day long.

I trade only 5 pairs with the system (EUR/USD,GBP/USD,AUD/USD,EUR/JPY and USD/CAD). if you follow this system religiously, you will be getting average of 15 signals daily on the specified currency pairs and you will always have win rate of 90%
Thank you very much.

rasojie: all these nlanders claiming unrivaled support for our shoeless and clueless president..... i have nothing against your infatuation.... but i have some questions....just point me to a reason to be proud that GEJ is my president, has he increased my Dad's Salary as a civil servant, has he placed Education on the footstep of every Nigerian, has he provided the much hyped Transformation(i only see transformation on NTA adverts, yet the NTA is crappy) , Has he proven to be a law abiding citizen even as he goes about using his powers to deprive people of thier right to political association. In fact sometimes i sit and wonder why Nigerians have refused to see the light. Do we place personal likes and sentiment above the welfare and the way we are being governed. I am from the south south and i have no reason to see Oga Jona's tenure as a tenure to remember. Hopefully By next election i will be able to exercise franchise as i will be 18+ and i hope to use my vote to change the eye sore i am seeing.

Guys, this is a perfect team. Check out our 2 central defenders!!! They r world Class.

Apart from Iheanacho, Nwakali is a great talent. Check out the match against sweden, he was always covering for overlapping Captain Muhammed. His passes and dribbling skills are world class.

Yahaya did very well. Alampasu was astounding. I pray may good quality clubs from Europe take each player in dis team.

AgricultureRe: Maize Farming Startup by Ozonna(m): 1:02pm On Oct 15, 2013
megainvest: Wow it's hot in here! Good thing I finally have some Updates from my practical experience. My total yield was about 13.5 tons giving about 1.9 tons per hectare. This is way below the mark of 3 tons per hectare I expected.

There are a few reasons I identified for this. Some of the corn was eaten by pests, some were stolen and few plants did not produce healthy cobs.

As for the conversions and standard yields, I finally have a grip of it. The following are Given facts:
1. one acre is 0.404 hectares.
2. 1 hectare will contain 2.47 times the maize in one acre if planted uniformly.
3. Maize yield can range from as low as less than 1 ton per hectare in Africa to over 20 tons per hectare in some parts of USA. On the average, Chile / USA produce at about 11 tons/ha, with Nigeria at 2tons/ha.
4. In terms of ears of corn per hectare, a representative figure is difficult to mention but a yield of 75,000 ears per hectare can be considered as excellent production in the leading countries.

I am happy to have my own experience and willing to learn more. It is quite clear that making an investment decision based on balloon internet figures can ruin you.
I cultivated 4 hectares of maize dis year. Harvested it this July and made quite a loss which I must confess is my fault because I was an absentee farmer who handed over my farm to a guy that claims he's an expert consultant. At the end of the day I made a loss. I'll still return next year sha.

However, I've learnt so much already and this is what I learnt.

1. Always make sure that your farm is not too far from the market

2. Never be an absentee farmer. Make sure your farm is close to where you live and if its not, rent a house in that village. If you must be an absentee farmer, then tell the person that will takia of the farm that you are willing to give him 5-10% of the net profit if the maize does well (I might do this nxt year cos my leased farm land is in the east)

3. Don't manage money. Make sure you have enough money for weeding (2ice), fertilizer (2ice),labour. etc

4. If you want to maximize your profit (maize), try planting early maize or late maize. One of the reasons I made a loss was because of my timing.

5. There is more money in selling fresh than threshing and bagging it.

6. Know the right herbicides/pesticides to use and how to use them.

7. Pray to God for a favorable weather. After my 1st fertilizer application (which is 2 weeks after planting), rain no gree fall for like almost 2weeks angry

8. Pray to God to turn away Fulani herdsmen from your farm angry angry angry. The week I was supposed to harvest, a Fulani herdsman was butchered to death by one of the locals because the Fulani man and his cows scattered the local's rice farm. I postponed my harvest by 1 week to allow things to cool down before the Fulani men think that i'm from the village and attack me when im harvesting.

These are the few things I can remember for now. Truth is that there is so much money to be made from Agric. I'm still getting experience and working hard/saving money because I hope to go back and start an Integrated farm in the near future. Cheers wink

Why don't we just close our senate and allow HOR to be. That'll leave us with 75billion naira (half of 150billion which is being shared by both houses).

The FG can now say that for every year we'll budget the 75billion to fix our primary, secondary and technical schools. Out of the 75billion, Mr corruption will swallow 40billion and the remaining 35billion will be put to work. 35billion if added to whatever is budgeted now for primary, second and technical education will go a long way. kettykin: A small but standard international Airport would cost about N70b , anambra has the option of going ahead with the international airport project or investing in another means of mass transit that could solve the perennial traffic congestion in onitsha and environs. An instance could be building an industrial estate along the onitsha enugu express way, building a world class estate for the middle class along the same route, developing an internal rail link between onitsha and nnewi and awka. Or an intercity rail link. Also the 70b could be invested in the concession of onitsha ses/river port acquisition of vessels , storage facilities, staff package, development of viable routes etc
The money can be used to facilitate work in Orient refinery /petrochemicals airport can come much later

Chime is too much. He's constructing rural roads, building bridges, connecting villages and local governments areas. The development is not concentrated in enugu town and still Chime's descendants may never be poor again because of the amount of money he's made in govt (let's be honest, Chime is no saint) but look at the humongous positive things he's done.

This is to. Show you guys that the cost of development (physical structures) is cheap. Enugu state's fed allocation is not much, its one of the least in the federation and our debt is not that much but still look @ what Chime has achieved with the meagre allocation he receives(except maybe our IGR has improved and is quite huge). We have been cursed with very wicked set of leaders in this country.

PoliticsRe: Comparing Legacies - Obasanjo Vs Goodluck Jonathan by Ozonna(m): 12:21pm On Oct 08, 2013
Youpele52: Nice post but to add to comparison, you put to consideration the environmental factors making easy or hard for government to rule a nation.
One has got Boko Haram inhibiting his polity
One has got more haters than ever, even from his own family.
One is from a major tribe the other not.
Both did hurt Nigeria with fuel subsidy removal
The former rule with more of a military style than civil, if you remember how OBJ handle the matter of Odi LGA and that of Odioma town both of Bayelsa State.
The latter is more democratic/diplomatic in his dealing with terror (though perceived as weakness to some). If GEJ was OBJ, Borno State, Kaduna and all Boko Haram state would have been flat by now.
How many politicians have insulted the GEJ in an attempt to rubbish his government, really democratic, if OBJ was in sit all of em will be scared to kiss their family goodbye cos the Police, EFCC etc will come haunting you.
Meanwhile you can't compare 3years to 8years. It's absurdly ridiculous.
We have freedom of journalism honoured more in GEJ regime than OBJ. Ask a journalist working in any of the newspapers/TV Stations they'll tell you what they can't write about and where they're limited not to cross.
GEJ rang the closing bell in NYSE, you might wanna go research what it takes for a president of any nation to go there and ring that bell. OBJ requested that he should but was turned down. Then Nigeria wasn't economically stable or booming enough and investors friends enough, as those are few of the requirements.
OBJ will be forever remembered for Telecommunication industry
GEJ will be forever remembered for Electricity Industry, & more.

Electricity vs Telecommunication
You tell me wish is more important.

Nigeria economy is more booming & diversify in GEJ regime than OBJ's.

First time ever Nigeria has 20 persons (still counting) in 55 wealthiest people on Africa.
Dangote was rich, but only in GEJ regime did he climbed so high in the Forbes list of the wealthiest. Dangote when he went to Kenya, he thanked GEJ for the conducive business environment.

How was the national team at OBJ tenure? Hopeless, even Olamide in Ghost mode said "some rappers dey like Naija them no dey reach finals". But hey GEJ regime we won African Cup of Nations, for more than 10years we haven't reached finals.

Check out the booming entertainment industry now. Its more profitable than it was in OBJ's regime.
See how rich musicians have become over the years from music. Some years ago if you tell your mom that you want to do music, you're seen like a mad man. It's hard to make a mil from music way back then.

I won't say GEJ is the best so far, Yaradua would've been the best democratic president had he not died.

I don't hate OBJ whatsoever, I rather hate to see unhealthy comparison.

OBJ has been in the system of Nigerian politics and leadership long before he became president. GEJ is like a learner before OBJ in that regard. OBJ is more experienced.

I'll end with this, like it or not, OBJ built the foundation on which GEJ is building today.
OBJ raised the bar, any president ruling now or will rule in the future has some catching up to do, before he can talk about going further than OBJ. That's why till 2020, we'll still compare the present president with OBJ.

GEJ has got some work to do. If electricity supply becomes steady in all parts of the nation, GEJ has got nothing to worry about to work extra miles, he has done what for the passed 53years or more no head of state, prime minister or president has done.

Pen Down.

PoliticsRe: Dangote Is Nigeria's Biggest Problem He Has Bought Aso Rock by Ozonna(m): 12:11pm On Oct 08, 2013
naptu2: My position has been the same from the beginning. The issue is not Dangote or substituting local production with importation, the issue is the system (you've just echoed what I said) and I've been addressing the possible solutions which involve changing the system that allows these things to happen.

For example, you've mentioned the monopoly of the federal government. This is something I've written about for almost 30 years. The military governments entrenched centralism in Nigeria. They created a unitary system (the general at the centre and the colonel governing the state) that almost ruined us. They created this idea that the federal government is a big father that must own everything to protect the sons. I advocate a federal system (particularly fiscal federalism) that would see individuals own their resources, the local governments collecting taxes and remitting part of them to the state government which in turn remits part to the federal government. Revenue formula should be as it was in the first republic. But most importantly, we need strong and independent regulatory systems (for example, Gani Fawehinmi advocated that the Inspector General of Police should be answerable to an independent body like the National Judicial Council).

If we believe that it's just about Dangote or importation, then we'll continue to create systems that enable such people to thrive. There was once an Umaru Dikko, there was once an Abiola, there was once an Okotie-Eboh (please read Nzeogwu's coup speech), there's a Dangote today, who'll be there tomorrow?
Continue to write and don't stop. I also suggest you write bout this in the newspapers. This will go along way in creating awareness and putting pressure on the FG to do something about this.

Who knows, it maybe a topic at the soon to be held National Conference wink wink wink
PoliticsRe: Dangote Is Nigeria's Biggest Problem He Has Bought Aso Rock by Ozonna(m): 12:05pm On Oct 08, 2013
naptu2: My final post before I leave home.

The thread title is "Dangote Is Nigeria's Biggest Problem He Has Bought Aso Rock" and I insist that the problem is not an individual, but our structures and attitudes. Will the problem go away if Dangote dies today? 25 years ago some people said that Abiola is our problem, where is Abiola today and has the problem been solved?

Major Orkah staged his coup in 1990 and my neighbours came out to celebrate Babangida's exit. I asked them some questions - why are you celebrating? Do you know who the coup leaders are? Did they ask your permission before taking over? What if we replace "Maradona" with "Pele"?

Some have called for a revolution, a call I support, but the question is, who will lead the revolution and what will be its outcome? Will it simply replace one set of dictators with another?

The point is that our problems continue because we focus on individuals, rather than the systems that allow these individuals to emerge. Would Dangote have been able to donate $2 million to PDP if we had campaign finance laws and an independent Inec to enforce it? Would he have been able to dominate the cement market if there was a competitions commission?

Saying that importation is the answer is simply diversionary. The same system that enabled him to dominate production will enable him to dominate imports (witness Umaru Dikko with respect to rice in the early 1980s). The solution is to have strong and transparent regulation and for Nigerians to ensure that government enforces those regulations.

That's my take and nobody has been able to disprove it.
A million likes wink

However, this shouldn't end here. The Press should help us ask questions and suggest this Competitions Commission to Finance Minister Okonjo Iweala and also Trade and Investment Minister Olusegun Aganga. I believe their agents here will pass the message on this thread to the relevant authorities.

Meanwhile, i thought that Ibeto has already bought the Nkalagu Cement Factory.
PoliticsRe: Enugu... Take A Second Look by Ozonna(m):
IGBO-SON:
Like I've always stressed, it's important that any new estates are built to international standards; serviced with utilities (or on-going constructions done with provision made for future need/use of said utilities) like gas, broadband, underground electric cables....and other facilities like small communal parks and train/bus stations. An idea of what i have in mind can be seen in the design for the new Golf estate they're planning for Enugu.

We need to think/plan ahead for the future and not allow wealthy individuals and land speculators to buy up land, and build houses in a haphazard/higgledy-piggledy fashion!
My relation who works for Borini (contractors handling the Zik avenue bridge) told me that there is a provision for mono rail in that Zik Avenue bridge.

PoliticsRe: Anambra Spends N4bn On Orient Refinery To Be Commissioned In 2 Months by Ozonna(m): 11:32am On Sep 07, 2013
KenGali: I am sure any right thinking person should know that given the kind of political interest the refinery generated last time, further development should be fast and quiet.

Infact I believe the whole Kogi state SAGA was sponsored or associated to business men with interest. If you know a bit about the supply of petroleum in Nigeria you will know that a company that can supply 25% of the market is a major threat to MRS, Capital Oil, Mobil, Oando, Total, Aiteos, etc. So the crisis that seems to have stopped Orient cannot be an accident. Also ifeanyi Ubas involvement in Anambra Politics might not be about his fortunes. If he gains control of that refinery he will either kill it as per desires of his business associates or use it to sack other Major players like Dangote from the market. Dangote's response of deciding to build a refinery inspite of the unfavourable economics, which he admitted to, is also not surprising. People assume he is helping Nigerians, I doubt! he is only ensuring that his business survives. I also think his refinery is sponsored by himself and the other major petrol marketers who are not making noise about it. They have all been talking about having a joint refinery for a while.

So bottom line is that Anambra is sitting on a golden egg that can provide us enough resources to develop our state. Whether Obi realises this or the kind of forces that might be arrayed against it is still an issue. It is like relocating the biggest industry in Apapa to Anambra. It is something we should work towards assiduously. The employment potentials alone for truck drivers is enormous, and we cannot have it without a fight. We have no time since we will loose the whole potential as soon as Dangote completes his refinery. There is only room for about 200,000 bbls per day refinery in Nigeria.

This means that whoever completes the first refinery takes the market. While the MOMAN refinery under Dangote will likely take three years to complete, we can complete Orient in less period using modular approach.
What we should do?
1. To quickly complete the current Refinery, use horizontal wells to quickly access the oil wells without getting into disputed areas to avoid
further distractions.
2. Make committed plans for a second and third refinery. We need to top at least 150 000 barrels per day to discourage Dangote. Once we can complete the first stage of about 50,000 bbls per day, and commit financially to the next 50,000 bbls, Dangote will review his economics for the his refinery and is likely to abandon it. In all time is of the essence.
3. For the second and third installations, we need to partner with IMO or Abia State to source for crude, if we have not explored for more crude within the Anambra basin.

While recent events show why the Presidency may have moved against Soludo, Obi's strategy leaves a whole lot of distaste in my mouth. I have wondered for months why his economists have not spotted the subterfuge moves against Orient idea. He is more focused on imposing the next governor than on any real economic planning. Hope he gets the message. I still believe ifeanyi Uba should not be allowed any close to the Government House, his motives are not really clear. If Anambra State looses this opportunity to control one of Nigeria's biggest industry, we will need to find the equivalent of about 10 of the existing oil fields in order to derive the same economic benefits as the refineries would have availed us.
I want to believe that Peter Obi has 1 or 2 guys here. Please that person should print this out and hand it over to Governor Obi ASAP.

@Kengali, well done
