Hello gurus. I have been following this tread for month now. I intend to apply for a visit visa in a few weeks. I’m been invited over by boyfriend who is going to be my sponsor. I work and I have a company that’s been in existence since 2013. I was expecting a contract last month so I did tax clearance even though the job is yet to come through. My salary is 80k but I have a savings of 340k. The other issue I need help with is that I’m separated for 4yrs so my passport bears my ex husbands name whereas my account and every other documents have been reverted to maiden name, will this be a problem? If my boyfriend wanted to send an invite should he put my maiden name or the one on the passport?

goodmorning house,i have a situation with a colleague at work, they were granted visa (b1/b2) in late January, now wifey realised she is 6 pregnant in mid-february after visa was out, she intend to put to bed in the u.s.
My advise to them;
1.write embassy and inform them that wifey is pregnant and they intend to put to bed since there is enough fund available.

Please gurus in the house, i will appreciate further advise to assist my friend.

As long as that visa application resulted in an issuance, and you have never been refused a visa under 214b or any other sections of the INA, you can say that you have never been refused a visa. A 221g refusal simply means that not enough information was available at the time of your application for a final decision to be made.

You could answer that you have never been refused a visa, or, if you like, you can answer that you were refused 221g and subsequently issued.

Share and landed property are not savings, that section is talking about cash savings.
