You do not submit original passports at the time of application. When your visa is approved, your passport will be requested for submission and you will be given 30days to submit it.

I will advise you go to Abuja as suggested and add the middle name to your international passport.

If you remove the middle name from your NIN, you will have to remove it from other documents and even your bank account.

follow the steps in the post linked above, you'll be fine and make sure you take the oiginal copy of your birth cert and state of origin along with you

yes i applied online with my pc and atm and as for how long the whole process took about 2-3 months i started the online application and paid on the 2nd of sept printed my forms, took me about a week to gather all the required document i.e gurrantor, state of origin etc.

i cant remember the date i took all the documents and forms to alausa but after they confirmed my payment and vetted my documents they sent my a message after about a week to come for capturing, so i captured on the 15th of sept was given a slip with the passport collection date set on 12th of Nov but it wasn't ready on the said date had to wait till dec 1

but wait,my passport has been issued since NOV y20 so why do they bother asking us to wait for text message that they won't send, the suspence almost killed me for house, na small remain. every text notification i recieve i'll jump to my phone only to find out it's mtn, to make matters worst mtn com go upgrade their own foolishness and started sending me the same text upto 5-7 times a day. mtheeeeeeeewwww nonsense

If your surname doesn't start with "A" or "O" do not go to Alausa office for passport collection on Mondays and Wednesdays.

I did yoyou get an email for cancellation? Mine is Wednesday i haven't received any email.

understand they want to investigate the massive heist of appointment dates that happened this year. Appointments were selling as high as N600,000 per slot.

I booked genuinely in January and got August 20th or so then 2 weeks before my appointment they cancelled it. Meanwhile, people were paying 100k today to get dates for next week. Nigeria problem plenty sha.
