Politics › Re: Tinubu Is Playing Die With The North By Nasir Aminu by Pacesetter123(m): 6:01pm On Aug 09, 2023
The other day,it was war on Niger is war on Northern Nigeria.
Today is Tinubu is playing die with the north.

You talk of the impact of war on Northern Nigeria should there be any in Niger.
Cry me a river!
So what do you want me from S/S to do?
Beg Tinubu/ECOWAS not to take military action against the coup plotters in Niger just for northern Nigeria sake?
You guys are not serious!
Where were the north when Nigeria/ECOMOG/AU have been going to war in places like Liberia,Congo, Somalia, Ivory coast,Satome n Princepe?

In fact, what did the north do when we were crying looking for support in 2002 when a Yoruba man carry our ancestral land with rich mineral resources and seafoods and sell to France in the name of Cameroun?
Did you people in the north come to our aid?

Now, another Yoruba man wants to go and play the same Big Brother Africa game in Niger (to serve France interest, according to you), you are crying begging for support .

We won't give you people any support.
Any of our senators that tries to do otherwise for your selfish interest will face serious critism from us back home.

Your own suffering for "France interest" nah im go pass our suffering for the same "France interest" for the past 20years?

I no dey support Tinubu policy expecially removal of subsidy without building refineries first.
But you this one,I bin support diplomacy first but since una started this North this , north that bruhaha like say na only una get this country,I dey de man back Gon gon make him invade Niger and restore democracy and una no go do am naathiiingggg.
Politics › Re: War On Niger Republic Will Be War On Northern Nigeria - Usman Yusuf by Pacesetter123(m): 11:04pm On Aug 06, 2023
IhateYouMan:
https://www.reubenabati.com.ng/opinion/opinion-war-on-niger-republic-will-be-war-on-northern-nigeria-usman-yusuf
This is a very ridiculous statements by this Yusuf.
This same narrow opinion is what is keeping Nigeria in this pathetic situation she is now.
Religiosity and tribalism are the major problems facing Nigeria.
When Goodluck Jonathan wanted dealing with Boko Haram insurgency squarely in it's formative years, this same sentiment was echoed by the northerners.
...... attack on Boko Haram is an attack on Northern Nigeria. So the Boko boys were allowed to grow wings.
And today, the so called professor is crying about insecurity by Boko Haram in the north.
Who do you want to come and solve the problem created by you people for you?
Now,any attack on Niger is declaration of war on Northern Nigeria bla bla bla.
This is the most senseless, useless and careless statement I have heard this year on any international issue.
So the only reason why ECOWAS shouldn't take military action in Niger is that your tribesmen and your Muslim brothers are there, right?
That means if it was Yorubas,Igbos,Efiks or Ijaws that were there, the north would have declared or supported fully the declaration of war on Niger?

Personally,I don't support military action there but diplomacy.
But because of careless statement like this,if I were the president and the chairman of ECOWAS,I would have declared special military operations in Niger and nothing would have happened.
I say again, NOTHING would have happened!

Hmmn! Why rushing to protest. We will all benefit from the policy Tinubu is making at the end. The country has been bastardized by the previous bad leadership and corruption. Imagine Nigeria feeding all West African countries up to Cameroon through the cancerous subsidies. Give this man time to right the wrong. It's going to be painful but we shall all laugh at last.
Same way you give Goodluck Jonathan time in 2012, right?

You even cook food and served the protesters in Gani Fahemi square, Tinubu square,Tafawa Balewa square and all the squares in Lagos.

I myself,I supported the protest not minding whether it is my fellow South/South man that is the president or not cos it was in the best interest of the nation.

But today, your fellow South/Westerner is in power, you suddenly see nothing wrong with the same policy you protested against 10 years ago.
All because of tribal and religious sentiment. E no go better for you people with this kind of develish mindset.

Mr President, you said you have saved in this few months over a trillion naira from fuel subsidy.
Use it and start work in the refineries.
Leave all this talk about loan facility to small and medium enterprise and palliative to the poor of the poorest, it's all an avenues for further stealing and enrichment of the same privileged few that benefited from the subsidy regime and the paddy paddies in corridor of power.
None will get to the poor.
You can't sit in Abuja and the know the poor household in my village.
Make refineries work for local fuel production and economy will improve on its own.

So Wike has to exercise the most power in the party.
