Yes,a country can function very well without a written constitution.Basically,dere r two types of constitutions: written n unwritten.So many countries such as Britain operates unwritten constitution.
But let me tro a little light on de concept of unwritten constitution.De term unwritten constitution doesn't mean dat de wordings of de laws r not written down at all.It simply means dat various segment of de laws such as de magnacarta charter of 1912 in Britain are not codified in a single document. Not as if dia laws r not written down at all.Just dat dey r not found in a single document.
