I have no problem of people bragging about their children.

What I do not appreciate is when relatives like uncle's/aunties making their children seem like angelic stars and every other child in the extended family are efulefu set of useless children. That's not good at all.

I have an aunty like that. May God forgive her.

It breaks my heart so much when I remember how I was led to know that some of my converts on nairaland have backslidden, unfortunately I can do little or nothing about this cos I can't go contrary to God's leading, however people like you give me joy each time I know how you keep waxing stronger in Christ.
May God keep you and all those that have been faithful to Him with His right hand of righteousness and help you all grow spiritually on a daily basis in Jesus name.
May God recover the weak in faith and the backslidden ones by His mercies and restore their faith in Him in Jesus name.

Looking back and thinking retrospectively through the past one year of my life , a lot of things have happened to me that would make me question my faith and walk with God, but considering the fact that I've hazarded my life for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and for His call upon my life, I've decided to hope against hope and concluded that even if He slays me I'd keep trusting in Him. I've come to realize that in this walk no one having put his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for God's kingdom calling.
I give all thanks to God for seeing me through the hard and rough times and glory continuously in my infirmities for His strength has always been perfect in all my weaknesses and His grace has been overwhelmingly sufficient for me. It has and can never be of him that wills nor of him that runs but of God that shows mercy. I've been privileged to be a partaker of His divine nature and have known that God chooses earthen vessels like us and places His treasures in us that the excellency of power may be of Him alone and not of us so that at the end no man would glory in men but in Christ alone.

The Holy Spirit has been my comfort in all and has helped me use the experiences I've gotten in these situations I've passed through in life to comfort those that are going through similar things. It's been an extremely difficult year for me and the tribulations have been so extreme that if not for God's grace I don't know what would have become of me.
God has given me a 10 billion soul mandate that I can't even explain and don't understand fully yet, but I've made up my mind to run with the vision and hold unto God's words for I know it's for an appointed time and I'd keep waiting till my appointed time comes for when the appointed times comes the vision would speak for itself.

Happy birthday to me. Kindly say a word of prayer for me in your closet as you read this and pray that God should strengthen and uphold me with His right hand of righteousness. This is the best birthday gift you'd ever give to me.

Its funny how that your story is very similar to mine...its almost shocking.

I had same question as you, i served God with my whole heart, I married a virgin, why did God allow me enter the wrong hands.

Thankfully, through the help of the Holy Spirit and the teachings of anointed ministers I have studied through the years I discovered the following;

I FAILED GOD;
-When I Idolized my virginity and even thought, I can even walk with my eyes closed, God loves me too much to allow me enter gutter, i am too "precious"

-When i was a "Christian virgin" but was into pornography and masturbation

-When i idolized my Pastor instead of truly developing true relationship with Jesus

-When I didnt know what true fellowship with God was and thought that just being a church worker was good enough.

-When i started unclean chats and sex calls with my "ishmael"
-When I gave up my virginity to my "ishmael" because I felt we were getting married anyway.

If you did any of the above I did, you owe God an apology and seek His face on how you can make it up to Him

HOW WAS GOD SUPPOSE TO STOP ME FROM ENTERING ONE CHANCE WHEN I WAS MY OWN GOD, doing what ever I wanted and shouting hallelujah in church

Sorry but the best you can do is to learn how to now truly live for God in spirit and in truth.
