That's the best thing to do in this situation. Talk to her and resolve the issue, either by letting her go or going on with the relationship (depending on your discussion. happybee: Please bro, I know I effed up by walking out and I'm ready to tackle the situation now. I'm intending to talk to the girl now as you advice, and talk to her what does she wants from me and if I could get a good response from her. I'll let her know to fix a meeting with the guy maybe her place or I don't know, and I think from there IL try to fix up what I had broken. Or what do you think?

OP, you shouldn't have left the room when her ex entered. That was the best chance for you to actually find out the truth.
When the three of you engage in conversation, you will notice who she really cared for from her body language.
I've passed through similar scenario. Her ex came visiting while I was in her apartment, and 3 of us had awkward conversations. I found out later that she wanted to keep both of us for different reasons.
The truth is, your girl is still having a little connection with her ex, otherwise she wouldn't have allowed him to visit.
If you care for her so much, arrange a meeting with her ex. If you can't do that, sit her down and discuss with her. Then you can make your decision from there whether to continue or break up. |

Whoever you are, you have completely nailed this issue. You just wrote virtually everything I had in my mind. I've read the two sides of the story. And as you rightly pointed out, OP wants to destroy his family. Unknowing to him, he's just being selfish and wicked to his children. He should be thanking God he has a wife who could think up a smart business idea for both of them to invest together. He is here claiming property he doesn't even have any right to own. As a man, I find it hard to believe that some men in this current generation are still living like our fore fathers. No wonder most rich people would rather marry people in their class than marry people who will never get rid of their inferiority complex. sugah: ExtraExtra and HEseesall The foundation of your marriage is flawed. In marriage there's no I, me, my share, his share. You went into a biz and shared the profits into his and hers instead of ours. Assuming you had the profits as "ours" then taking part of it to take care of an ailing father and using the rest to build your house wouldn't leave doubts as to whose name should be on the house documents. ExtraExtra your faults are plenty. 1. You have inferiority complex. Your wife, in her write up, did not mention she was from a more financially stable background but you brought it up even though it added no value to the issue at hand. Deal with your complex problems else it would destroy your home. 2. You are not nuclear family oriented. Yes you are the first son so you still have a responsibility for your extended family but you don't do that at the detriment of your nuclear family. Your wife bought and built a property to completion and you are only just finding out the details of the documentation? How unconcerned were you exactly I understand putting health first in cases of emergency but afterwards you went ahead to complete your father's house before adding the change to your own house? You should be grateful to your wife for covering up your weaknesses. At least she's more family oriented and built a home for you and your kids. 3. If you are having a heated argument with your wife, the reasonable thing to do is to excuse yourself from the situation. Go out to a bar, have a drink or two to cool off then return home to a calmer atmosphere and discuss the issue. How on Earth do you ask a woman to leave the house during an argument (forget that your joking b.s, I'm not buying it)? Where do you expect her to go to cool off? 4. This one goes back to your not being nuclear family oriented.... you have already gone ahead to report the situation in your home to your extended family and even your wife didn't do it. Now you are making unreasonable ultimatums just so you can satisfy your bruised ego or at least prove to your extended family members that you wear the trousers in your home. 5. You are not willing to keep your home and you are taking for granted the fact that your wife is willing to do anything to keep the home. You have applied for a transfer to another state because of this issue? Did you consider what the move would do to your children? Have you even thought about anyone else except yourself in this issue? HEseesall, Learn not to make assumptions (you assumed he would know the property was in your name)... communicate! Communicate!! Communicate!!! Agree to put the property in his name and if he doesn't change his stance about it, that's having both your names on it, then consider your stance in the marriage. Unfortunately you married a man who doesn't understand what marriage is about or the relationship between marriage and Christ so you either chose to carry your cross and make it work or seek professional help.
All the best. |

You just typed those words as if you were under a rock when he was warned few days ago not to come arround. My friend, a lot of things are going on with the Nigerian military and police right now. This is what happens when you have a backward thinking governemnt rulling a foward thinking population. Why can't the governemnt use mechanized farming (irrigation and drainage system) to create ranchs for these herdsmen in thir own region?
I don't think the government will be suggesting ranching if this is coming from the East or South. These herdsmen are treated with kid gloves despite all the attrocities they have commited.
It's either this government is the most senseless government or they ae cooking up something.
Because I know If Nigerian states give these hersmen their lands for ranching, what we are seeing now is just a tip of the iceberg of what is going to come in future. We shouln't create problems for future generations. |

My brother, he is your general overseer, your spiritual leader. At least he should know more than you considering his age in the ministry. Yes it's good for one to have his own opinion. But look at it this way, prayer alone cannot solve the problem here. As a Christian, if you are sick, you won't say let me pray myself out of the sickness. You will go to the hospital and still pray to God for healing. There are certain things God wants us to do by ourselves, certain actions he wants use to take. That's why He gave us brain. With that brain mankind has been able to make life easier for themselves (cars, aeroplanes, houses, information technology, etc). We can also use this brain to prevent something bad from happening to us. In this sense, your overseer is doing the right thing by spreading more awareness. People should be both spiritually and mentally alert. Niyinficient: Papa should stop all these hate abeg!!!
I am a Winner...i believe in his ministry but all these messages is not helping the situation. He follow the teachings of Christ and preach love. He shouldnt his temperament as a person to attend to such sensitive issue.
P.S
All those quoting me and raining curses and abuse...i have no word for you except Gen 12 vs 3a. What help has the hate messages and doom prophesies done to help the situation. Solution is required not compounding the situation.
They called themselves Christians and Winners, yet they rain curses and abuses. These are the people that if Oyedepo preach from now till tomorrow, their lives never change because they remained illogical, irrational and love not the Almighty God but worship man. God have mercy on you all. |

Your life and that of your generation is already in danger. Only cowards save their face and remain in their supossedly comfort zone. Please look beyond your present and look at the future. And by future, I don't mean the ridicolously short life of few decades you are going to stay on earth. Take a look at the profiles of these people: Winston Churchill Nelson Mandela Joseph Stalin Martin Luther King Jr. Mother Teresa Mahatma Gandhi George Washington These people are going to be forever remembered in life. Most of them went through hell. They didn't shy away from danger. If you still care to know more, The American revolution and French revolution are two good pointers. These countries are who they are today because of the sacrifices people made on their behalf. Today, An americal green card is the dream for many Nigerians. But there are people who made that country what it is today, don't forget that. Even if the Biafrans are not doing it the right way, it's always better to do something than to do nothing. justtoodark: nope....i should commend you for putting your lifes in danger..... ?

I’ve read a lot of comments here about Tobi and Cee-ce, but you guys are looking at this whole thing from one perspective. There are two scenarios playing out here: It’s either Tobi and ce-ce are the fake housemates and are playing out a script (we don’t know why Biggi has to wait this long for eviction) or Tobi has the best game plan in the house. He knows he’s the head of the house and still has time to turn the table around to give viewers what they really want from him. If he does that, it will certainly give him more fans. But if I’m wrong, then that Toby guy don finish himself for this show walahi. Because, to me, I can’t see any guy with very good attributes of a playboy messing up this much with a girl like that. The show is barely two weeks old, so let’s not crucify him yet. |
