I know I let my guards down. So there was this lady who I would call Miss T. She was introduced to me by her senior sister who I knew through a facebook group. Since I told her I needed a girl for a serious relationship, she said she will link me to her younger sister in Akungba, Ondo state.

So, fast forward to when I began speaking with Miss T, she agreed to come to see me in Lagos but complained of not having enough for transport. So due to the recommendation i got that she was a good lady, I sent her N11, 000 as transport.

So after sending her this money, only for her to call me on the eve of the day she was supposed to come. that one of her relative was ill. So I just had this feeling that this was too coincidental to be true.

So I tried to cajole her to return the money since I sensed she was trying to play smart with me. She said no problem. That I can send my account number, which I did. After waiting for 3 days, I chatted her up on whatsapp that I'm yet to see any alert from her. Only for her to tell me she needs money for now.

So I said she is supposed to keep her promise of returning it, after which, she blocked her on whatsapp. I contacted her senior sister who linked us and her response too wasn't satisfactory to me.

So I'm really bitter with how the whole episode played, any chances of me recovering my money? just pained why someone will block me on top of my money. Please help.

A large number of male who make 2:1 most likely paid for Slot-in after exams ( sometimes as high 12k per course )
Female students also pay either with money or their body!
Not to talk of the oppresion sexual molestation and sexual abuse these people make their students go through .
A female friend of mine complained about his lecturer in IFE. I told her to make sure all their conversations are recorded maybe someday she would use it as leverage. Uncle lecturer turned up the TV set volume to 100 as soon as he walked in and asked her to place her bag at a reasonable distance .
These same set of people are the reason why a 4 year course is an automatic 5year plus .
That’s 1year extra allowance 1year extra house rent for students staying off or on campus etc it it is The Nigerian parents that suffers these excess for Cost.
And at every opportunity they get , they hold the nation to Ransom .
They would easily top the list of workers in Nigeria who spend more time at home doing noting or doing their personal business all in the name of Strike and still get paid.
The list is endless .

All these Jonathanians should just let us rest with this perpetual wailing. Jonathan himself basterdised his name, not anyone else. Sanusi as the CBN governor and chief banker of the federation was kept out of the loop on how accrued oil revenue was handled. He asked for clarification several times and was shut out by the cabal surrounding GEJ. That's exactly what happened before he raised an alarm on an 'unaccounted for $20bn'. SLS never said the money was stolen, he simply said it was unaccounted for, and it's a pity if any adult still cannot comprehend the difference.

After all the noise and scandal, the cabal finally let go and an audit was done in which 'most' of the runds were eventually accounted for.

When SLS asked for an account, if he got a response from the govt, there would never have been any scandal. It's all common sense. Even following the public declarations (of missing $20bn), all that was expected of a reasonable govt and president was to simply say "he will investigate" and that simple statement could have killed the scandal. But instead, GEJ and his handlers and supporters began running around aimlessly calling it political witch-hunt and accusation (unfortunately they're still calling it same till today). Next move of GEJ in the full glare of the world was to order the sack of a CBN governor at such a sensitive time over a sensitive question that should have been handled with wisdom..

I put it to you once again, GEJ out of some pointless paranoia, basterdised his name himself.

Lest I forget, for those claiming that SLS was dethroned by God for fighting GEJ, if this silly theory is anything to go by, then what it actually means is that the disgraceful dethronement of GEJ was his own punishment for failing Nigerians.

I will say it the way it is....They are wonderful....They may have some lapses, but still one of the BEST in Nigeria.

Last year July, I travelled with Cross Country.

Cross Country isnt too bad BUT what I didn't like about them was that, they will stop at Sagamu and change the buses of passengers, after a long wait and not minding that some were going far.

So, I was to use God Is Good Motors to get back to base ( for the first time) and as I left my hotel thinking I had packed my phone in my bag, only to get to GIGM at the set time that morning and just realised my phone wasn't in my bag. Thank God I collected the hotel's customer care number. I wasn't even sure if my phone was in the hotel or deep down inside my totally filled up bag.

It was a kind security guy @GIGM that helped me use his phone to call the hotel, first time, to check my room for me and second time, to confirm if they had seen my phone which they told me :YES.

The customer care boss was kind to me and told me to go and explain to those announcing when the buses where leaving/sell tickets. I went there and the lady kindly waited for me to get to my hotel and come back, almost 25mins+.

Other commuters didn't know why the scheduled time for the 3rd bus was shifted for extra 1hr. They complained but I told few of them that GIGM must have good reason for that.

My experience with them was OK....in the bus, we were watching movies upon movies. I had a better experience with them than Cross Country..... Cross Country will go far in the business too if only they make some adjustments as they cover more routes.

Well you kinda gave a few reason why your Experience with them was a good one ..
they waited 25 min + for you at the Expense of other passengers and even shifted time 1hr.
The nice thing to do would have been to put you on the next bus and not Assume it’s ok to extend other passengers journey time .
Some could be on a lean time for business appointment travels etc.
Hopefully you would see the Point.

We can never forget how they made us paid thru our noses for SIM packs...and a drop call of 1 second equalled 35 naira. Those were the days you were at your own risk to flash another number. If the pants madness was around then, many ladies would have sold theirs to buy SIM packs.

I can Relate lol .... even with the exorbitant cost of Sim , one would still need an Antena strong phone like Trium/Alcatel etc or climb a couple of stairs to make a 2second@35naira suppose flashcall mistakenly picked
