Uyiii:Nigerians have no chill Just saw it on my status : Of all the contest in the house she won absolutely noting !! Not even Pepsi payporte or Dano Hopefully she gets Rat killer endorsement- if people see her face them go buy lol |
ashjay001:Lol Buhari will get the blame as usual. In 2015 these set of crooks wanted to spend 400mill on cars for the presidency’ he refused and told them their is no need for them to spend almost 5billion purchasing cars for them self but they went ahead and Spent 3.6 billion on cars in 2016!!! the truth is our constitution is structured in away that the National Assembly : Appropriates money for them self Allocated money for them self Enforced who ever is in charge of money to make sure they get the money Theoretically Buhari seems to Ben right.. we are all lazy . We forget too soon we don’t do anything Call Adeosun name’s wail shout we are not lazy it’s all we are good for BUT google their 2017 budget that’s d first time they were forced to make it public thou . 1. National Assembly gets statutory transfers: -One thing you should first realise is that the National Assembly gets statutory transfers. This means that to guarantee its independence, funds must be compulsorily released to it. These funds are not subject to revenue performance and there is hardly a history of National Assembly returning funds to the treasury. You can actually take the National Assembly budget as actual spending. Federal Audit recently indicted the National Assembly management for irregularities with the reconciliations and returns. However, no punishment has been given -For a management office of the National Assembly, there is a total sum of N15bn — higher than the allocation for University of Ibadan. Staggering! Security equipment will costs N440m Yet thug can walk in and pick up the mace , photocopy manchines 369mill lol na every year them de buy new ones -Professors must be getting jealous of legislative aides: Apart from the huge cost in the National Assembly Service Commission, legislative aides will spend N9.6bn, with N8.9bn being costs for salaries. Why will the entire aides that serve 469 lawmakers get paid more than all professors in a university? Professors must be jealous already! Any undergraduate out there mulling a career in the academia? U and I knows d Aides don’t get that much Common how many aides do they even need ma sef ?? -National Assembly not yet leading by example: If efficiency will begin in government, the National Assembly has to show example as the highest organ of accountability. Why so much money for photocopiers, vehicles, insurance, legal services, travels and training? If National Assembly spends N7.7bn on cars at an average of N25m each, that’s 300 cars. Is National Assembly planning to do Uber car hire service? Why is the National Assembly spending ten times the budget of a university and a teaching hospital? Why do legislative aides earn more than the entire personnel cost of a university in Nigeria? Questions! I can bore you with more but please check Nunber 1!!! The people representing us has made a law that states that if the minister of finace is your daddy or my daddy or even you ma sef reading this . You are obliged democratically legally officially lootically even lazycally to release their statutory and officially compulsory funds !!! Adeosun just did her job infact she did a fantastic job if we are going by the interpretation of our constitution. It won’t be enough to send PMB home he is not the only Problem we need to flush pretty much all of them irrespective of which party flag they fly .. IF YOU KNOW ALL OF THEM THEN YOU KNOW |
5thElement:You are absolutely right and am not rooting for PMB but we need to appreciate the fact that the past Administration combined with those who switched sides from PDP to the Current APC administration took pretty much 16 years adjusting the constitution in such a way that it will be democratically impossible to jail a public office holder even when you have glaring evidence he/she stole while in office. Sometimes a President can decide to throw his weight -witchHunt - and do all bad by himself but it’s very Obvious our constitution has been raped. Examples: OBJ wanted to make an example of Bode George’ he was a PDP chieftain-one-time deputy national chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, South West zone A ‘ the allegation against him was inflation to the tune of 84billion naira . He was found guilty and he spent 2year!!! Just 24months for his crime and then some people’s mumy picked up Ankara and did a welcome party for him. I don’t know how he got a 2year jail term for an offence tagged around 84billion but I think Plea bargain played its part - this means you can steal the people’s money inflate contracts and then use the money as a bargaining chip when caught . The only reason he was charged was cos he fell out with OBJ the then President. Example 2: James Ibori His people pettitioned He tried to bribe Ribadu with 15mill US dollars As at August 2007 the Uk government seized his 35million US dollars in the uk as they could not comprehend why a governor on a monthly salary of 25k US dollars monthly was worth that much December 2007 he was arrested December 2009 he was discharged of all crime!!! The Nigerian Government obviously can not successfully prosecute a looter especially when he has the stolen resources at his beck and call - lots of SAN political influence and all but this same man was caught in Dubai may2010 extradicted to the uk 2012 . On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, after 5 years of running, James Ibori was sentenced to 13 years by Southwark Crown Court for his crimes. His houses, luxury cars and other properties were confiscated. The judge ruled that he was expected to spend half of the jail term which is six and half years. Also, the 645 days he had spent in detention facilities both in Dubai and UK were deducted from the sentence. He served out his prison sentence and was released at about 12 noon on December 21, 2016. That’s the same Ibori that was discharged and could not be found Guilty in Nigeria o . Not much has changed my brother . Buhari is not doing a good job to fight corruption but even if he was doing his very best this administration and past can’t and won’t successfully prosecute and jail any of this public office holder who has at some point in time milked this country dry! My humble opinion’ we need to get our not so lazy ass get our PVC and ensure we fight for a young vibrant youth as President! Same for the legislative Arm also Governors’ and then always be on their neck so we can have a constitution that caters for every Nigerian. |
Topmaike007:2015 election did Social media campaigns gulped almost $50 millions: This includes payment for short youtube videos, nairaland campaigns, twitter and facebook paid groups. Payment of people like Fani Kayode, Okupe, Omokri, Abati, bloggers like Linda Ikeji and others. |
rolabell:Yours is a special type of Lazy!! So he needs to get likes ? Likes proves a post makes sense ? |
muykem:Lol the way the message came out is pretty bad but when one thinks about it logically even as bad as it sounds sadly the content is basically true to an extent. Special centers everywhere!!! Yahoo boys all over the place We even celebrate drug peddlers The amount of money our lectures make from collecting money for mark in our higher institution is ridiculously crazy! Ponzi scheme like MMM sells like water Nairabet babaijebu Let politicians bring money youth will collect and Mobilize then break bottles and steal ballot box University Vc use money as incentive to buy Student union leaders Youths will campaign for Old looters so they can have slot at Federal and state civil services The list is Endless but in all I feel it’s a call and a challenge to the youth in General WE ARE NOT ALL LAZY BUT STILL WE CAN DO BETTER . |
kereman1:Naaa I’ll pass ... you need the Amen more than I do |
kereman1:Lol thank you |
kereman1:You give our supposed Dull President too much credit.. the only person who gets more blame more than him happens to be the Devil himself. The ones we can’t blame on the Devil we dump it on Buhari - I know e is the President of Nigeria but theoretically we have succeeded in making him Vice-Satan/deputy Devil. Buhari paying people to ridicule Christianity ? If as a Christian you still believe Buhari’s payment to some set of people is the Reason we have been hearing and seeing some sort of madness in the church then you need to study your bible cos the Bible did clearly state at some Point these things will happen!!! And yes they are happening and yes judgement will start in the church . Oh you mentioned no one should quote you and now that I have it would not be Christian like to shoot at me some sort of insult . Thanks |
XingXhang:Note: am not taking sides neither do i truly believe this story.. but the type of loyalty you are preaching up here is one of the reason Nigeria is a Mess!!! Fashola ambode and co can’t bite the hands that did fed them or brought them into power that’s why it’s a common believe Lagos state is in the pocket of Bola Ahmed tinubu.. Even our popular president is a student of your type of loyalty that’s why he can’t bite Fulani herdsmen! Pays ransom to Bokoram and also let his northern compatriot who fed him power to get away with just about anything . That type of loyalty has not helped and will not hel Nigeria |
[quote author=SortOut post=66782394]That's the issue, which traffic? I reside at Ado Ekiti and it would have been better if the dual carriage roads were really built as standard size. Park a car, and it becomes single carriage. Old garage/ Oja Oba axis should be expanded, that's where traffic is.[/quot Prior to it’s construction that lane from textile to okesha can conveniently accommodate 6cars simultaneously (both lanes) -Traffic in Ado which is the state metropolis is mostly situated around old garage not Fajuyi ( fajuyi had a round junction from time #from textile both ways - from fajuyi to adebayo both ways - okesha both ways - bank road both ways . - the impact of this bridge” it can now accommodate 8 cars both ways that’s just 2 more than what the previous structure normally takes, it obviously does add some sort of beauty to the Metropolis but the bridge itself is a death trap and if we are being sincere with ourself you would agree that the only reason why they can’t demarcate the bridge is cos using a pillar of concrete to spilt it into two wud make it difficult for vehicles that are most SUV like armada! Pathfinder etc to conveniently use the bridge hence they resulted to using road markers reflector .... basically the bridge is pretty small ( yes it beautifies yes it can take 8 cars now as of 6 d previous road structure will yes it’s a death trap theirs noting protecting car A from the right and car B from the left ) - for a state that Relies on what ever Tax they get from Afebabalola’s establishment’ traders involved in all kinds of businesses, Tax from banks(most are forced like we all know reason GTBank is closed down in ado and even inside Eksu) and also what ever indirect tax the state gets from majority of its citizens who happens to be civil servants but they don’t get paid regularly and most of their kids are also schooling in the state higher institutions yet they have to pay their kids school fees so they don’t lose admission or be refused to write their exams - I think it’s unfair to use the states money for a huge project like the bridge cos it’s got no economic advantage I think the project was earmarked for 5.something billion but it’s in its final stage and it’s gulped almost over 15billion . |
mosho2good:Very nice |

diablos:Your people will soon come for you .. We will start seeing afonja ipob aboki etc ... I don’t understand what joy you guys derive from making all these tribalistic post! We won’t achieve anything in this country this way!! For now it’s called NIGERIA .. For now it would be nice to work as One , it’s working for other Race it can work for us also |
Clinton9000:Liberal?? It only means He loves money! He knows too well how to loot it too! He knows how to invest it also! It’s a trait common with almost if not all our past and present Politicians who’s at some point in time Held a political Post in this country |
Cosplay:lol u de vex ... you can actually make your point without using the word bullshit. You do have a point thou |
trillville:And while we are at it let us also remeber the legislative arm needs youth leadership also else if any of these youth u mentioned by chance wins the post of the Presidency without us having changed the Old selfish members of our legislative arm .. - they would have absolutely no respect for him - they would ensure his efforts are frustrated - we would end up back where it all started cos being a president is not alone enough to stir this country the legislative arm plays a lot of Role! They are the Keepers the Messi the Ronaldo and also the Refree.. infact the fans and pitch belongs to them cos they are supoosedly representing the people (they basically Represent their personal and common interest thou ) |
junbi:God bless you ... I see likes and comments coupled with praise for the legislators cos they are supposedly not ass-licking PMB yet the move is now to palacate the Governors ![]() When and how will we get it right when major decisions are made just in favour of those in Government and not in favour of the Citizen ? Election should be about the masses not asslicking of PM. Or any Set of Governors. And these people still earn some ridiculous amount of money for what ever it is they actually do that has absolutely no inpact on an Average Nigerian |
bammy777:Very correct ; hopefully when Buhari loyalist also make excuse for his failings I hope you try not to narrowly define his administration also and you put into consideration Nigeria’s economy is majorly dependent on crude oil and that product seems to be at an all time Low! Population has increased and our natural resources also is being gradually depleted daily except for the untapped ones |
new2012:No disrespect but I don’t think sellling or leasing the Ajaokuta steel idea is a bad one . That project has gulped over 10billiion US dollars starting 1981!!! Yet it’s yet to be completed . It’s just like every other idea managed by the federal Government they consume money they don’t function either Eg: Nitel - options Glo Mtn etc works well Nigerian Airways If NNPC is being managed by a private coy am sure fuel would be available constant and cheaper. I pray the ajaokuta steel ish gets resolved and if money is being pumped into it again it will one day soon become functional cos it’s got the capacity to create jobs for 10,000 engineer bla bla bla but Ajaokuta steel at the hands of the Nigerian Government will just be another piggy bank even when completed and yes it won’t be properly managed let alone maintained |
kjsun15: kjsun15:I work in EKITI but not for EKITI state Government and I also know how hard it is for Government workers in the state . And for those who thinks Fayose is the Voice of EKITI people I bet to disagree . He has done a pretty good job infrastructure wise but still his major achievement are the roads he has taken time to develop and then d bridge! Oh I almost forgot: the water fountain in Ikere. Let’s be honest I see this structure every now and then and I think it’s a total waste of fund. And the Bridge -Prior to it’s construction that lane from textile to okesha can conveniently accommodate 6cars simultaneously (both lanes) -Traffic in Ado which is the state metropolis is mostly situated around old garage not Fajuyi ( fajuyi had a round junction from time #from textile both ways - from fajuyi to adebayo both ways - okesha both ways - bank road both ways . The states IGR is classified Fayose runs EKITI like a dictator Yes he talks about the situation of the country most times infact he has been very Vocal and sometimes one can’t help but see the truth in most of what he says even if I personally don’t like him. So I reflect on his message for the truth in it and put aside sentiments ... But their is another side to the truth : Fayose suddenly developed a voice when PDP left Aso Rock! He found his voice when his paddy paddy were no longer at the helm of affair . For 16years he saw absolutely noting wrong in anything done by the PDP federal Government. - Noting wrong with OBJ a PDP President refusing to pay Lagos state allocation for years and also executing zero Federal project in 8 years (bear in mind Lagos supposedly had a population of 14million Nigerians of all tribes and ethnic denominations) - He saw noting wrong when OBJ a PDP President executed the 1999 Genocide against ODI people of Bayelsa’ yes Fayose is the voice of the people but what’s his own PDP was in power kinibig deal . I can go on and on but the truth is Fayose found his voice ONLY because his cronies are no longer at the Helms of affair Federal-wise and that’s playing convenient politics or political ranting and putting one own party or interest above the common people you are supposed to be their Voice |
Ade3000yrs:Well said ‘ Hopefully one day we will realize the Obvious. What ever the problem is with the past administration sometimes we blame GEJ for pretty much everything that went wrong but we for reasons best known ignore the Obvious Truth: All present and past Government is not solely commandeered by the President He has the legislative Arm to keep things in check. If and when a President nominated a Finace minister our so called senators and honorable are suooosed to screen question and determine if the candidate is qualified but naaaaa they all play politics. Buhari is a Dullard -agreed Nepotism is his thing - agreed He is so Dull all his ministers and appointes incharge of Nigerians Economy are dull but who approved them and swore them in office? Our supposed legistlators .. Even if sowore becomes the President it will be a mission impossible to Rule if we don’t change the Nigerian mentality . Change everyone at d Senate and house of Assembly else 4 years later people will be romancing Mr Sowore with all shades of Curse!! |
bassey87:Find a random girl/boy who’s in need of Help and give them what ever you plan on giving her. The truth is bitter but when a girl spends most of what she’s Got on clothing and material things they basically tend to always beg and beg and play the pity card to get from who ever is asking them out or trying to build a relationship with them .. the chances you are number 4on d list of those she’s playing the Finacial trouble tape for is very High .. same goes with some young dudes .. They display their Gucci’ shoes belt the Champagnes and the Good life all through Friday to Sunday on their status then on Monday they would play the i have one school ish bla bla bla for their supposed big Bro wey no sabi flex on Tuesday.. most times I basically just ignore . Don’t encourage her to live beyond her means |
hisgrace090:Agreed!!! We are at to look at things logically Both parties are either guilty or one party is’ - if the girls did initiate d sex for mark scheme and the lecturer in question agreed to it then the are both guilty# cos she’s soliciting for an academic mark she’s not earned academically and the lecturer obviously did agree to the scheme according to the phone conversation. - if the girl did not initiate the sex for mark scheme and the lecture in question actually happens to be the one who did initiate’ and the girl felt her best option was to record the conversation between both parties then the girl does not deserve to be punished cos that’s practically one of the few ways to expose a Bully even thou it’s not d best of options . But how ever the case may be one thing is certain from the phone conversation the Lecturer is definitely guilty irrespective of who might have initiated the sex for mark scheme cos he is supposed to be a guidian/tutor and impact your not just academics but moral standard yet the phone convo implies HE WAS ACTUALLY READY TO SHAG THE GIRL 5 times . These things happen in most universities and it’s pretty sad it’s the Devil that gets to take most of the blame but still for a lecturer to demand or agree to sex a girl 5 times something tells me he had probably done it before with some other girl maybe one time for sex or even twice and he felt why not shag this girl 5 times since she’s at my mercy. For a girl to be bold enough to approach her Prf lecturer and make sex advance for marks then she probably must have heard Gist or first heard hand experience from whom must have done it with Mr Prof - As a girl you don’t just walk into your prof office and offer sex it takes a Lot even for a very looose lady .. Just saying |
maviduchez77:That’s not true ... call logs can be retrieved from network providers .. if her call to him tally’s also with duration it’s a big ish but then this is Nigeria. They would be talking about why she failed and not why he wants sex to upgrade her mark. What’s to say He did not fail her on purpose ?? |

zinaunreal:Your point ... good stuff!! Noted How u came to the conclusion I have no job’ pretty amazing. Next time you want to drop a comment please be kind enough to use proper English “”and this useless buhari and obasanjo are in power”—— if this how to put in sentence a president from 1999 and another still in power 2018?? So technically the Error is yours.. but from your last message I do understand the message you were trying to pass across but Still if you are a Graduate and you are Gainfully employed or you do have a business of your own pls once in a while think of what you can do for Nigeria not just what Nigeria can do for you |
