You are a fat cow show me the ones the east, shege iyamiri

I don't need to show you anything, all southeast states have thread on this platform, check them out, please you guys should also create a thread for kaduna, kano, sokoto, etc so that the hole world will see the development strides in the north, what are you guys hiding? The east have shown the other regions that they have noting to hide.at Least we criticize and praise any good or bad development in our region.

What did i lie about, this is how kaduna has been for the last 30 years although kaduna development was almost stagnant before el rufai started his urban renewal project, kaduna used to compete with the likes of Lagos in the 80s-90s not enugu now tell me if kaduna had continue to develop with its mate (Lagos and port Harcourt) you wont be saying this trash, but thank GOD el rufai is renovating and expanding the city now.

So these are what you can show about Kaduna? a state that never witnessed a war and with all the money the federal government have pumped in that state, and you guys are comparing it with a region that was raised to the ground during the war. What a shame.

Someone is telling you his Or her experience about a place he has lived all his life and you are talking about threads some ewadu guys opened .

Please try to travel around your country before coming online to type what you don't know if you don't know there is no northern city or western city apart from Abuja and Lagos that have more traffic in terms of vehicular and air activities.

Owerri airport is the fourth busiest why enugu airport is the fifth or sixth, after Lagos, Abuja and PH so where is kano and kaduna, ibadan, Akure or abeokuta?
Let's go to land transport i.e. movement of people through land, no region can beats the east, why? because there economy is very active, all major privately own transport companies dominate south east rout.
Go to The young, ABC transport, Chisco, God is Good, Peace mass, etc check there rout and come let's continue

Let's not exclude the state governments transport companies like ITC, Abia line etc, how many state outside south east states can boost of a very active transport company?

My point is that southeast have the most structured economy looking at all the sectors that brings about development,e.g. transportation, industry and commerce, education, banking, entertainment etc.

Southeast is one of the region with the highest concentration of banks, microfinance banks, also highest in SME's in Nigeria.
Southeast has the highest diaspora fund that comes into Nigeria someone from up north is talking about flyover.

Enugu and Imo beat the whole north combined

Those people live in self denial, they think we are their mate, development in igbo land is even more noticeable in the villages, go to a typical village in the east you will see houses like the one you see in Asokoro or maitama, we don't wait for governments for things we can do for our self, up north with all the free money and government presences after the civil war in your different regions, you guys are not even ashame comparing and competing with south east. What a shame.
1. Gowon - 6 yrs or more
2. Shagari - 3-4 yrs or so
3. Obasanjo - almost 15 yrs
4. Buhari - 8 yrs still counting
5. Babagida - 7 yrs or more
6. Abacha - 6 yrs

All this men have ruled Nigeria and they are from the north and west, no war was fought in their regions, developmental project s were sited to favour there region, employment favour their regions, I can go on and on. But they are still in competition with the south east. What an irony

A lot of people laugh at you when you compare the Igbos with Yorubas in Education.Every Nigerian knows that putting Yoruba in the same sentence with Education is naturally normal but Igbo and Education is just like saying that a goat is flying.

That's was in the early 80's to late 90's when western press are dominating the Nigerian conversation and military governors were sent to the east and south south to rule not to develop. But now the narrative has change, the east and some south state are investing heavily in educating their children, most of these are coming from parents of 2x2 shops or the one you guys are calling traders, uncle's, auntie, the community, the church, thanks to Catholic and Anglican church in the east, these people are trying there best to educate their loved ones.in my community you can't bragg with your degree because its noting new, In terms of human capital development or manpower to service Nigeria economy we have them in abundance.
for example there is no private school in Abuja except Islamic schools you won't find substantial numbers of teachers of igbo extraction. The yorubas have lost that grip and they know it. Let them mention areas they are better than the igbos in the field of education.

Both public and private

Please and please don't compare light with darkness here in Abuja, igbos have stronger presences than any other non indigen in both public and private,

I was shocked last year September when I help two girls process their admission into JSS 1, though they were sponsored by the church, while going through the admission list, I discovered that more than 25% of name were igbos names.

I also discovered that the school have substantial number of teacher who are igbos.
its a government school, located in Amac
Let's not go to private. Now my point is that igbo population outside SE is more and they are well educated and contribute more to the host communities in terms of population. Igr, skilled Labour etc

Politics / Re: How Kwara Express Was Mismanaged by paj4love: 3:24pm On Nov 02, 2019
bilms:
How Kwara Express was mismanaged

About 31 years ago, Kwara Express was established on February 11, 1988. In 2012, the company was transferred to Harmony Holdings limited for management by the Kwara State government.

A committee set up by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on review of sales of Kwara State government properties from 1999 till date, led by Senator Makanjuola Ajadi came up with a report that is mind blowing and worrisome.

According to the report of the committee, shortly after Harmony Holdings took over the management of Kwara Express in 2012, the company's generators were taken away.

Also, 3 of its vehicles were given away to various individuals and 2 other vehicles were sold at ridiculous prices without due process.

In addition to the above, original certificate of occupancy of Kwara Express premises at offa garage was forcefully taken away from the company by Harmony Holdings in 2015 and some portion of the premises was sold without due process. The depot of Kwara Express had also been sold illegally.

Before Harmony Holdings took over the company, Kwara Express has 40 vehicles acquired through loan from urban development bank, aswell as other vehicles acquired through loan at infrastructure bank.

It is a common knowledge that when a company is taken over by another, its assets and liabilities become the responsibility of the new company management. However, this is not case with Kwara Express.

While Harmony Holdings took over the assets, the company's liabilities were still left to government to handle.

The loan taken to buy over 40 vehicles for Kwara Express was eventually paid by the government, meaning that Harmony Holdings was not responsible for the repayment, despite being the one taking all the company’s income.

It is also important to note that, most of Kwara Express equipment’s both at the workshop and operations department are not properly maintained and left in a state of despair

The company's clinic and toilet facilities within the premises for passengers are also dilapidated.

Furthermore, contributory pension is being operated in Kwara Express, but deductions from staff salaries for that purpose are not remitted as stipulated by the contributory pension law.

This is in addition to salaries not being paid to staff as at when due and National Housing fund deducted are not paid to them after retirement.

Based on the above, it is clear that Kwara Express needs to be renovated and operational vehicles provided.

Kwara Must Change
Ether way that company was going to run its self down. Ask me why
