Why are some people so confused or ignorant about d geo political zones. Kwara state is in NC and Saraki claims to be Fulani even though his ancestry is yoruba! The man says he is a northerner and his state is zoned to d north. Simple, clear and straight forward.

In Nigeria's political landscape, it pays d Sarakis to claim to be northerners, Bukola's father ingrained that in him. But their history is another story....their origin is yoruba, for sure. Fulanis don't bear yoruba names from generation to generation.

Oh I agree with u completely. As of today Kwara state is in north central zone. That Yorubas exist in Togo does not make them Nigerians. Tribes cut across borders and we do know that our boundary mapping in Nigeria for states etc is less than perfect.

He sent his son to live with his aunty in Ilorin n over the years, Saraki snr (fondly called Oloye) embedded himself into d Ilorin culture, fraternised well with d people and decided to claim the place (naturalization). Oloye is so loved by Ilorin people for his generosity, they claim him too as their son. Since then d Saraki dynasty is known to be from Ilorin and through d efforts n political aspirations of Oloye, kwara state was annexed to Northern Nigeira.....story for another day!

Restrict Ur self to only what U know.Kwara,Niger,Kogi,Benue,Plateau and Nassarawa make up d 6 states in d north central while Lagos,Ekiti,Ogun,Oyo,Osun and Ondo make up d 6 states in d south west.

Point of correction... Yorubas are d majority tribe in kwara state.....offa, oro, omuaran, etc. and these places have Obas. Stop equating what happens in Ilorin as d whole of kwara state. In actual fact Ilorin people are traditionally Yorubas n speak yoruba...it was d jihad that imposed an Emir on them. Up till now their culture n customs are predominantly yoruba.
But kwara state is in North central zone.

PDPi is only trying to apply its own brand of opposition....cashing in on d fracas in APC. I won't be surprised if David Mark is nominated, despite his pretence that he won't contest. If APC isn't careful PDP will pull a fast one and Mark might return as SP as APC members votes will split btw Lawan and Saraki. Let's keep watching...a few more hours, the deed will be done.
