In 2012, GT resumed a month before EH. However, the two sets were notified at the same time.

I know I said I won’t post again but I need to clear some things:

First things First, I don’t talk anyhow and I’m not hear to spread bad news. I just give information as I hear.

Secondly I applied for the recruitment as well so obviously I want this to go well. I’m not happy when I heard all this rumors but I felt it right to say.

Thirdly, my sources are legit and believe me they would know. What they don’t know, they tell me they don’t know. It’s not just one source but at least 3 who I normally feed from so I can get a balanced view of everything.

So the GT process is far ahead. I spoke to another source who said the EH hasn’t been cancelled (remember I said it was a rumor?) BUT IT DEFINITELY WILL NOT COME WITH THE GT.

Once the GT has been concluded then they will talk about the EH and how to move forward.

Hearing some bit of mixed news. Good News is this should be wrapped up shortly. They are going to publish the names in the daily newspapers. That is for the GT’s. Should be anytime soon. Don’t want to give a timeline but most between next week and January. Should not pass January at all.

Bad News is it seems like the EH part has been cancelled from what I heard. I’m really hoping not but the rumors are too strong to ignore. This is officially my last post on this matter. Goood luck guys

Reliably i was told that what they do now is to employ contract staff. Infact by 2020, because of this, they'll start paying contract staff upfront. Believe me or not, dont stress over it. What will be will be. Dpr took a year before they gave APL. If you find something doing, stick to it. Nnpc letters will come sooner or later.

Contract staff have always been getting upfront though. Problem is there are too many vacancies as well. Over 3,000 people retired from last year to now. Last recruitment was in 2012. The spaces are there to be filled.

Small Info: The GMD has indeed confirmed that the recruitment process will be concluded. He stated this in the townhall meeting currently ongoing with staff according to my source. Only issue now is when.

If the APL released was for Contract kini, and these people told you orientation is November.

Would you not think that both APLS' orientation cannot clump together? Would it be safe that the full time APL will be for next year? Since it has not been out yet......Wouldnt you think so?

Contract Staff dont normally do orientation o from my understanding. I guess because most contract staff are already in the system as support staff so no need for that. i could be wrong though

No brother. there was a meeting today at the towers that apparently would have discussed this issue along with the improved pay package for employees. but thats just what i heard, won't know till this week if it held or anything came out of it.

Meaning all pending issues raised earlier have been resolve. Thanks for the info. If I may ask was their any adjustment made to the list in order to resolve the initial concerns?

they have been resolved from my understanding but my brother the issues coming out were a lot o i won't lie.

Apparently, the main issue was really the EH. there was no even spread between the states. While GT's had equitable distribution between States, EH was more lopsided towards a particular zone in the South. Then to make matters worse, you had cases of an Amaka or Solape claiming state of origin Kaduna. Little issues like that held it up. I do know HR has the list as cleaned up. it's now just a matter of the top giving instructions to send out the notifications.

APL's have not been released. Also, the list isn't with the Presidency. List is with HR, compiled and good to go just awaiting further instructions.

Sorry must have missed it. I cant say accurately what the monthly is but the upfront is around 6-8m for supervisors (SS3-SS1)

Those are people who got hired on a contract but on SS6 level. They don’t get promoted when their contract gets renewed and they aren’t pensionable

I know contract staff from CHQ get upfront. Thin is some SBUs use recruitment firms to get contract staff so that might not be applicable.

Permanent GT's are getting up to 4m. worst 3.5-4 if we are even being conservative. contract GT's are on 2.6 so i'm not misleading.

Yes the negotiation is still at the villa and main problem was the last GMD didn't tidy up the process well. New GMD has come in and is also having to ask for funds to implement this process. It will eventually be done though

No new news, just the same said here. It hasn't been cancelled, def before the end of the year.
List is ready and all that's left is for management to give the go ahead to notify successful candidates by email.

If contract staff were converted, we wont be having the issue we are having in the refineries regarding the recruitment wahala. contract staff are still here and have not been made permanent. unless there's one or two which i highly doubt. but if youre saying as a whole or majority, then its fake news,

its around 4m for permanent, 2m upwards for contract staff

Also note if the negotiation gets approved as scheduled, then incoming GT's will have a higher amount than this.

I just heard one news this evening from my sister. Her friend who used to be contract staff said they were confirmed as permanent staff and some others were given appointment letter in July this year. Guess that's a new one. Meaning even as the interview was on-going some people were already taken.

YES. LOWEST GT'S(SS6) are getting around 235K a month and thats not including upfront.

It is unfortunate that you are the one clueless about how government MDAs work. To think that you are doubting that APLs have been distributed for presidential candidates. There has been no mass on boarding sine 2012, but are you aware that a lot of people have been recruited through the backdoor since 2012? Who on boarded them? spirits?. If you have ever worked in a govt MDA or have ever seen any of their recruitment process you definitely would not postulate the aforementioned. And for the records, collecting APL doesn't mean they have resumed. They could resume with the rest or even at a later date at their CONVENIENCE and nobody will bath an eyelid. Little wonder CBN and FIRS rarely conducts mass recruitment but have ever increasing number of staff.

People have been hired as contract not permanent employment like you said. Trust me I would know. NNPC doesn't operate like CBN and FIRS. If you know you know. You think Pengassan and Nupeng will just be watching them do mass backdoor recruitment?

Lots of people have no clue the way recruitment works even with govt MDAs. General recruitments of this nature, even if a list is sent from Presidency, they will indeed get the job, but will wait,collect APL with others and resume with everyone else. Its baffling how people reason. If they have resumed, who onboarded them? We should not be in a haste to type to impress gullible people and gettison reasoning. NOBODY has collected APL.

Loool. Any person the president brings will be given letters the same time as the merit list. You think they can afford to do that early when there are so many moles just between HR and GMD's office? Think again. NNPC doesn't work like that

Don"t want to say anything so i'm not quoted but there are various news. One thing for sure is that it is definitely happening this year and hasn't been cancelled. There was a management meeting on Monday and a board meeting today. Some rumors claim that the Monday meeting approved the process and from next week APL's will flow but i cant vouch for them because this is not a direct source just a hanger by in the towers that told me this.

The only two concrete sources said the same thing. it hasn't been cancelled and it is definitely happening this year. that's all they could give me. These sources i trust because they are definitely in the know. they are just being discreet

There's no new Sheriff as his replacement has not been made. Only someone in an acting capacity. He retired two days ago as he turned 60 so it wasnt because of the shakeup

That's not how NNPC works. lol. It can be budgeted for but there's still a process before you get paid. As the money comes in, HQ accounts has to determine what to pay after salaries, outstanding payments to vendors, claims from staff etc. It is all not paid at once. So like i said, the last couple of weeks there were no funds allocated to that. expect payments to resume from this week to next week

Don’t worry about T fare. Payment will resume this week at least, next week most. Once salaries are paid, extra funds are used to sort out these outstanding
