Yeah, an he has now been replaced. Probably got replaced during the recent shake up that took place in the corporation

There's no new Sheriff as his replacement has not been made. Only someone in an acting capacity. He retired two days ago as he turned 60 so it wasnt because of the shakeup

grin I don't know why some people feel NNPC is into selling of crayfish. The TF fund has been budgeted for

That's not how NNPC works. lol. It can be budgeted for but there's still a process before you get paid. As the money comes in, HQ accounts has to determine what to pay after salaries, outstanding payments to vendors, claims from staff etc. It is all not paid at once. So like i said, the last couple of weeks there were no funds allocated to that. expect payments to resume from this week to next week

Don’t worry about T fare. Payment will resume this week at least, next week most. Once salaries are paid, extra funds are used to sort out these outstanding

[quote author=panalyst post=82121644]lol. NNPC HR Staff do not have a say when the APL's are released. The list is already compiled and concluded no changing that. the GMD is in Abu Dhabi as we speak for the Gas week. APL will come when it comes. There have been different dates flying around and no one knows for sure when exactly. Fact is the process has been concluded, list is ready. Even the Senate created an adhoc committee to investigate the recruitment. All these could have slowed down the process.

Remember i spoke about the National Assembly angle here. Thats what is currently holding it up but it shouldnt take much to clear

Good morning, there are signature stamps but you still have to confer authenticity on it by signing on it. Offer letters must bear original signatures esp. for an organization where paper works are still very much the norm.

Perhaps I need to be educated further, has anyone in this forum received an offer from a recognized institution without original handwritten signature? In other words you could tell that the signature on your offer was just stamped on it. Please pray tell. @mosgoon your input may be required because I am sure you have seen several offer letters as a new generation whizkid; maybe I am too old school to have realised that things have changed (scratch that, NNPC still operates old school so my point remains valid)

The Offer letter will come from the GGM HR. It might not even be signed by her but by someone who will sign on her behalf. But it is definitely a human signature no stamp.

How about other refineries support staff??

I know Warri have been able to get the traditional rulers in that community on their side. They have the most organised group of contract staff and that refinery is the one with more potential to work. Kaduna is pretty much non existent at this point. However fact remains it was Warri Refinery Staff that protested not Kaduna not PH. Theirs might be at a later time but hey...

To buttress what this local man just said, I met a course mate of mine in the Towers during the just concluded interview who is a contract staff... He congratulated me with amazement when I told him I applied for EH position. Reason being that he couldn't apply as a result of his age. He is older than me. He told me equivocally when I probed that all the contract staff in NNPC were asked to apply like every other Nigerian. Those who were qualified, passed through the same process like you and I. No preferential treatment of any kind.
[quote author=vyke2008 post=81309255]

The original 3b post is right. The issue is that warri refinery support staff are upset because most of them do not meet the qualifications and its they threatened industrial action. meetings have been held to try and wade in on this matter.

In addition, the alert and APL matter are not related at all. The way NNPC works is claims are put in and paid at different times depending on the signatories available and funding. So there is no set formula on how you will be paid except through the way it is batched via SAP.

The new GMD of NNPC Ibe Kachikwu told staff of NNPC, that he will be declaring his assets in the coming weeks as a show of transparency to running the corporation.

He urged management staff to follow his steps and declare their assets too even if there is no law requiring them to do so.

One question for you all.

Assuming GEJ in his quest to refine PDP decided to deny through winners of primaries the party tickets because he thinks those people are not presentable, what will you say?

Many PDP legislators lost their primaries in many states all over. These are people who are supposed to be close to GEJ and would help him get elected in April. Most of them were crying foul that they were not protected but he said, let the wishes of the people be done.

If you think someone has violated the rules, you should have disqualified him with evidence.
How many of the people they chose did not use monetary or material inducement? The so called anointed would have used their the financial muscles if they had any. Hypocrisy comes to mind.

This is just like IBB saying he annulled June 12 election in order to save Nigeria.

Using your logic, please reconcile what happened in Ogun with OBJ's faction that was recognised even if it was ilegal. Also Adamawa who cancelled their congresses because Nyako lost out to Marwa. Which wishes are u talking about? do u really think all the governors who got an automatic ticket was because of the wishes of the people? C'mon we all know it was a deal for their support to GEj

Pleas elets not get it twisted. why didnt PDP release the call log on Justice Salami for that whole period? why did they select? do u really think some PDP members were not calling Justice Salami? even the lead counsel to Oyinlola and Segun Oni's appeal had his phone number in the PDP log. so what does this show? both parties are guilty.

As usual with NL a lot of rubbish is spoken. All Governors and the President can appoint ALL their political appointees as delegates to the convention. Do you know how many people GEJ has appointed?

Most of what is posted on this thread is just wishfull thinking. I do understand that it makes you feel good but I assure you the calculations have already been done.

Sorry Sir, but i think you might be the one speaking rubbish here. The rules have changed. While it was common for OBJ to recall all ambassadors and have his numerous aides vote on the convention ground, the rules for this PDP convention only allow ELECTED appointees to be delegates. Unless you are elected by the people in whatever capacity, thats the only way you can be a delegate. So aides, ministers etc are not going to be able to vote in this convention.

Politics / Re: Ekwueme: PDP Agreed On Rotational Presidency by panalyst(m): 4:00pm On Jul 01, 2010
I will mention a few things about this and i wont tell you how i know but believe this is the real situation at hand.

In 1998 when the whole zoning issue was discussed, the Northerners vehemently rejected it. They were against it and it took the pleading of Ekwueme and co to finally convince them that power should roate from the North to the South. Despite this, Abubakar Rimi said he was running. He was told by the leadership of the PDP at that time that he could run but his votes would not matter. He still insisted on running and that was to get Kano votes which were the largest bloc at that time and use that to negotiate to be OBJ's VP. We all know how that turned out. If there was no zoning, i dont see why PDP has an overwhelming amount of Southern Presidential candidates as opposed to the North.

In 2003, Ekwueme ran because it was zoned to the South. Keyword South. Atiku was never going to run. He was either going to stick with BABA or run as Ekwueme's VP who had already agreed in principle with Atiku that he would do one term. Barnabas Gemade who ran knew the deal as well.

Which gets me back to the current point, everyone is saying we should forget about zoning and thats just because of the North. Can we honestly honestly HONESTLY say that if the North pull together and pick a candidate from the South East, South West or South South as their VP, they wont win? Some people are short sighted. Remember if theres no zoning and power somehow gets back to the North, we will be the same set of people complaining that the North have had it for too long.
Politics / Re: Mark, Bankole's Jobs In Danger? by panalyst(m): 7:12pm On Feb 05, 2010
i have a question to all of u complaining about the zoning issue. What happens if there was no zoning and then the North as they are all united decided to put up a candidate every four years for elections? would you complain if the President always came from the North since North is more of a unit and the south is divided into yorubas, igbos and the midwest?

it was just those two lines he used and obviously if u see the line before that, u wud understand why he chose to quote jay-z on it,

Other rappers bite. two lines dotn make biting. hell Jay-z bites biggie does that make him less of a rapper? The whole first 5 lines of "give it to me" were biggie's rhymes, Kanye has bitten Jay. Cassidy has bitten Jay

Abi oo,  and at the end of the day, them fit they laugh all of us for believing their endorsement means they agree with obama's ideas when they may not even understand where obama actually stands on critical issues ,  LMAO!!!! I am just wondering if at the end of the day, this is not just about taking advantage of what happened in the last week to play the public and STAND someplace safe from "THE RACIST" crowd as this all continues. It's just that I notice how many of these people run to claim to be on the side of the "victim" as soon as the RACIST card is played. From experience, those who do so happen to be some of the most racist of all (and their guilty hearts know it well).

Kobo, this is what apparently happened according to CNN (anderson cooper. the best political team in the world.lol.) Basically, Keneddy was unsure of who to support. He is the patriach of the democratic party so his opinion is widely respected especially among core democrats. He initially planned to remain neutral till the end of the primaries. Clintons had solicited him for his support and when he told them he was not sure, they begged him to remain neutral. After the whole South Carolina debacle, He got really mad about Bill Clinton's involvement and the whole racial issues coming into it. As a democrat leader, he didnt want the race to go that way and so he called Clinton, The story according to one of Andeersoon Cooper's political analyst on CNN was that kennedy ended the conversation angrier than he was when he made the call. Apparently Clinton had been justifiying his position. With that, he realised Hilary would be too divisive and would not be able to win with the republicans,

The speaker is smart, very smart. He had his certificate but he waited when all the rumours were growing. He waited for all the noise to come up. y? because when the rumours came up, if he produced his certificate, he would not have known who was behind it. Now that the rumours turned to shouts and accusations because he kept quiet, he can now see those who were bringing this matter up. Now he has produced it but he knows his enemies in the house, Theywill probably get a silly commiteee, who tell u say military tactics no de work, lol
