Illimitable: That’s not an excuse.
Wesley Fofana was allowed to break his fast during Ramadan last week.
The referee halted the game for him.
Ole is just incompetent. Guy listen to yourself he was allowed to break his fast meaning he played in the evening/night. The Leeds game was in the afternoon. Can you play football without drinking water? Players no be robot na. But I agree with the last statement but cut the man some slack on Pogba decision. |

Illimitable: Had Ole started Pogba and Cavani against Leeds, it would have been 2 points behind City before Pep plays another game.
Stupid decisions by Ole is why he keeps failing. I don't like Ole but I will defend his decision not to play Pogba against Leeds. Sometimes we forget Pogba is fasting, playing him against a Leeds side with high energy in the afternoon is suicidal. |

nitrogen: I honestly like Chelsea’s style/model. Hire and fire until you win trophies. No time for nonsense.
I see them winning the competition. Quite unfortunate. There's nothing wrong with Chelsea's style/model but can your oga at the top adopt such model? People wey go look at the financial implications of sacking a manager before they sack him? |

Leyqute: They talk about it as if finding round pegs for round holes is a Herculean task.
Man City owners don’t know much about football and winning trophies but they are smart enough to bring in people who have built structures that have brought in trophies. And they went for them. Pep Gustfiola, Txiki, etc. They also bought players, broke numerous transfer records etc so as to create the atmosphere and structure of perrenial winners.
Watch how they’ll buy a correct striker for Pep when Aguero leaves.
It’s clear that they want the trophies. And soon enough , watch how the money will start trooping in.
With United, it’s the opposite. Money comes first so they don’t care about other things. The people at the top who are responsible for structure and player management haven’t changed much. Murtough, the newly appointed football director or so is rumored to fvck up Haaland’s transfer to United couple of years ago by being negligent and careless. Look at him being rewarded with a new improved role. What does Fletcher have on his CV to justify the role they just handed him?
But you fans want success. When the owners want money. They don’t care about success at all. Ole and underperforming players are a symptom of the system. They pay unnecessary big bucks when it doesn’t merit it and when the situation rises to spend a bit more and achieve success, they fold up.
The only thing keeping United is the brand that SAF worked tirelessly to build for decades. And that brand is quietly fading. When Man City takes over and nobody gives a fvck about United again, these people will sell the club and move onto the next victim. Always on point my bro! |

Bombblacks: The bold is ironic. Success breeds more money so they are easily interwoven. How many clubs in England have outspent us on transfers over the last 10yrs? It's not about the amount of money spent but the quality of the signings. Imagine, signing a right back that can't attack for 50 million, A midfielder that can't pass for 54 million and a defender that can't head the ball properly for 80 million and you want to win trophies . Pathetic! |

olabode89: From a business perspective the propaganda is BS. People need to understand that having debt as a business is not really bad provided there is no cash flow problem/shortage of cash for taking care of current liabilities and opex.
The club traditionally do not recoup huge amounts from player sales because of out strategy of buying experienced players over 25, blooding academy prospects and taking a risk on wild card young players that are usually not up to par. This is unlike Chelsea that is operating a massive loan system that generates a good chunk of income from player sales.
To me the only issue the Glazer had was not employing a proper football man to take care of player acquisition and contracts negotiation, and these have been corrected some months ago. If they were interested in the football aspect of the club they would have employed a proper football man but no they chose to appoint an accountant to take football decisions. Shows you where their priority lies in the finances How can the owner of a club be comfortable when United hasn't won the league in 8 years! 8 years Proper football man person wey no understand offside rule go employ proper football man abi |

MRTA7: That's part of the issue. You cannot remove the emotions out of football completely. It has to be a healthy mix of emotions and business. People act like robots without remorse, sympathy or empathy. Detaching themselves from humanity, going with the phrase "football is business" but You need the fan base o...they’re emotional and fanatical...lots of them buy full Season Ticket upfront. if the fan base is destroyed, it affects the valuation of the business. Yeah you need to be ruthless in business but at what cost? I no fit work with people with that kind of mentality they might be successful but not for long. |

raumdeuter: The Glazers did not take over using a gun, they negotiated fairly and were sold the club
The Glazers have spent a lot of money on the club too, They have bought you the most expensive defender, midfielder and striker in the league
I saw among the banners, some fans clamouring for a 50+1 model the same model many fans have laughed at Bundesliga for. When you get 50+1 and no investor are comng, will you be okay with losing the bragging rights of the most competitive league and trophies in Europe cos without those investors you wont be better than other leagues Are you indirectly admitting that the 50+1 rule has made the Bundesliga less competitive? |

Leyqute: I guess so. We’re 12 points ahead of 5th place West Ham with 4 games left to play. There’s no way We’ll lose our 4 remaining games and West Ham will win theirs.
I guess what a game cancellation does is delay City’s league triumph by a week. Exactly, City have already won the league, second position na just bragging rights we need to win something. Hopefully the protest sends a strong message to the owners and investors that the fans aren't happy with their style of management. |
