SyIvalord: Oh, it’s not about that. I already knew what the reaction would be even before I posted that Bielsa statement(I didn’t know someone else had posted it before me). The issue actually doesn’t even concern Mourinho and I wonder how they managed to squeeze him into the arguments.
I just feel this is the Man United fan thread and Man United should be the priority here. Currently Man United fans are protesting against The Glazers. Not just regular #Glazersout that fades away after some days but a massive protest. I feel that should be the topic of discussion right now. Whatever side of the divide you are on, either OleIn or OleOut, one thing almost all United fan can agree on is that the Glazers have been leeches since they bought MUFC and since the leopard cannot change its spots, it’s time for them to get out of our club. After we finish protesting against the Glazers and forcing them out, everybody can go back to their agendas. Sadly many people here don't care about that it's either Olein or Oleout here |

afrodoc2: The gap between McFred and Bruno in big games is too much. Bruno will bomb forward and McFred sit back in order to protect Maguire/Lindelof leaving a big chasm in the midfield.
In line with you said, as long as we use Maguire/Lindelof the only solution would be to drop Bruno back into midfield and play as a 10 (but more like an extra no8). That way instead of 4 players isolated in attack it would only be the front 3. That might paradoxically improve our attacking play in those big games as we would have more possession in good areas.
It is obvious that this season the other managers in the big clubs have decided to take away our counterattacking ability so we too have to adjust accordingly. Any explanation on how we won the big games last season? What has changed considering the fact that we have more 'quality players' this season. |

afrodoc2: Bruno is blocking our attackers yet he is averaging 2.8 key passes per game in the EPL and averaged 2.5 key passes per game in the UCL. In our Europa League match he made 3 key passes.
I want someone to name the players we have had in the last 10yrs who have supplied their team mates with as many goal scoring chances as Bruno. Nahhh they will tell you those key passes are 'sideways passes' or '5 yard passes' so it doesn't count. |

afrodoc2: Normally when you see such small players, especially those that are bent like Fred it is hard to bring them down but eph12's guy falls yakataly every day. But i can't blame him too much for that obe. He is small and light so maybe he can't help it.
But that passing is quite a problem. His woeful passes are just due to mental indiscipline not physical limitation. This means he can improve on his passing if he truly wants, which is why i focus on it. How can he correct that indiscipline is it through coaching or by himself? |

afrodoc2: I am not comparing o. I just noticed what you said that he misplaced SEVEN SIMPLE passes in the match. O wrong nau!
There was a time people were trying to rope him into one of Maguire's disaster classes i had to defend him. I try not to allow agenda affect my assessment so you should know i am saying this next bit objectively. He is the most careless passer we have in out team. He misplaces passes not because he can't pass the ball but because he is not just bothered to treat each pass as an important action.
There is no one in our team that misplaces simple passes like Fred. Another culprit is Bruno sometimes but at least that one makes up for it with goals and assists and he plays higher up the field. A CM/CDM like Fred should not be that careless with his passes. After studying Fred it appears he actually has good passing ability but is just incredibly careless with the ball.
O wrong nau. O wa too wrong nau. I'm still trying to understand the science of Fred, someone like him with low centre of gravity is careless with his passes, falls easily like a leaf, I always thought short people passed the ball better (not backed up by facts sha) and have better balance Fred's case is opposite |

Won 3 trophies in his first season; League cup, community shield and Europa league and he scored 28 goals that season something ''Ice cold Martial" and "Improving Rashford" have never done before. Ibrahimovic season was cut short because of that nasty injury he sustained. Back to my point sometimes guys overhype and overrate the EPL |

Trevor012: Epl is not Sería A. Sería A is a slow paced league which favours older players. 34yrs old Messi will flop so bad in England. Pep won't even want a lazy player like him in his team. He aint moving out of his comfort zone let's be real. Like the way Ibrahimovic flopped when he came to EPL at 34 or the way Cavani is flopping right now? Una too dey overhype this EPL sometimes |

nitrogen: Not sure he needs Messi. Also, you cant get more than 3 years from Messi. Baba don old. Ronaldo is 36 and he is the top scorer in Serie A with 16 goals Ibrahimovic has 14 goals and he is what? 39 or 40 A new challenge might present a new motivation besides they don't need him for 10 years they can squeeze out the remaining 3 years from him to win the Champions league. |
