Education is changing and we really need more Nigerians getting accessible education. That's what NOUN does. NOUN allows people pace their education while doing other things in life. Their model is also good for the jobless Nigerian youths who rush education without other skills. Also, people who can't afford the high fees of hostel, transportation and other expenses can access education through open university. When COVID came, you could see that NOUN was ahead of its time. We are still stuck in the old times of going to brick and mortar schools while the world is changing in front of us. There's no way tomorrow's workforce will not be adapted to hybrid, a concept NOUN had been running for years. We need education to be accessible and government can help further with infrastructure.

But... He's married! So, it isn't!

Adultery is still frowned upon by the laws of God and man.

He can sponsor the kids to any level of education they desire... He has no business with the widow. She can take care of herself or remarry.
Can she marry him as per Igbo culture huh Or better still, get married to Senior Pope

Because she will still have needs and the mothers of single guys will not want a widow with kids and the wives of married men will not want another woman and the society will not want her humping here and there

Who will raise the wife he left behind
Raise her? Is she a planthuh Doesn't she have parents or familyhuh Do people really care or they just want to keep pokenosing into other people's affairs?

If she gets married so soon, they will chastise her.

If she has someone taking care of her kids, some will say "hope he's not raising her legs up too"

If she does not marry, they will say "na shakara de do am, pikin go soon leave am"

If she doesn't get married and focuses on kids, they will say "na only you wey husband don die b4"

If she, God forbid, does not do well with her life and the kids suffer, they will still blame her.

People do not really have the interest at heart. They just want to talk and appear concerning.

Crime › Re: The Origin Of The Ban On Spraying. by papyjaypaul:
It is a bad behaviour that can be curtailed. Nigerians need iron hand. It is simply indiscipline and we pay no respect to national symbols. We can unlearn it.

I saw some people even saying that go to clubs in US, you will see them spraying dollars. We have a lot of bad and mad behaviour we think is normal but we no get who go tell us.

The symptom of this spraying is show off. That's it. Show off. It is a way to show that me I gave you o, let everyone see. We can't keep things in private. We must show off and oppress. There is a poverty of the mind that the self worth is tied to PDA, Public Display of Arrogance.

We want to be seen as good or rich. That is why there are so many religious people but ungodly nation. I commend the government for this step. See how they are arguing now, tell them to go to a function in US and start spraying, won't people look like you are madhuh This arrogance is what made people ditch the naira and start going for more expensive currencies to show that they have more capacity than another. "Ah, did you see Mr Linus, he sprayed $100 bills" That's it. To let them talk about you. Fake life and fake love. It has made people do criminal things so they too can be recognized by the people and we say the government is mislplacing priority? Nigerians will always talk. Always condemn like they know best but they will indulge in bad behaviour.

Before activists start claiming that they love us with fake lies, let government start enforcing the 'rare law'. Thank you Naptu2 becasue these people wey wan destroy our society are already saying it's the first time ever for a trans. They don't care about us as long as our society continues to rot and bad behaviour is the norm.

I remember that Soludo time, people joked that we go de stone you coin. They tried some coin notes and attempted redenomination but it didn't go for long.

Di lifestyle cost, na you no know.

The lifestyle cost, now you don't know.

Di lifestyle cast, na u go know.

Cut your clothes according to your size. Measure your coat well before you cut am. If they are comfortable to have these, that's their lfestyle. All of these things are material and add to comfort. Be happy with whatever you have. Man's basic needs are food, clothes and shelter. We just look for it in different ways.

My house is palatial.

I live on space.

My toilet has autocleaner.

My crabs are from Vienna.

My limousine washes your body.

This earth is just amusement park grin

Most people think money will make them happy but after having so much money, they now see the lifestyle sucks. It's good to have money, don't get me wrong but do not get attached too much to the world. Be happy with what you have, that's the secret to happiness. Don't be envious of someone else's things because if you swap their problems with yours, you will remain grateful for things you took for granted.

If there is truly something like this, then we have no government. That is about $34k and it makes no sense whatsoever. Where are the UN SDGs?Even colleges and some universities aren't charging that high abroad for a higher education. If I were the government I'll find a way to tax them heavily since they don't want to have sense. The British will keep milking us since we decide not to use our heads.

THC is Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and it is a medicinal compound utilized to manage and treat chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and stimulate appetite. It is a controlled substance. It is used in medicine under the supervision of medical experts but it is also used by criminals. That is why it is under the radar of NDLEA and customs of different countries. Expect flight delays and I take God beg airlines, don't fly if there is bad weather. We have lost enough lives because of stubborn head.

NIMET and Google, Facebook, WhatsApp should work together so people can get alerts. That way, bloggers will let us hear word and people will not be saying this and that. Even angry rush rush travellers will see info on the weather.

Romance › Re: I Need Advice On A Single Mother Of Two. by papyjaypaul:
Maybe I grew up in a different generation but raising orphans and raising kids that do not belong to you, in fact, raising bastards was never seen as weakness. The world has changed so much, you now look like an idiot. A lot of spirituality is gone. People are behaving like rabbits. Dig in and run out. That's why I laugh at some people who only see polygamy has a problem. I saw fathers marrying women who already had enough kids on their own. It was not until we grew old enough that we started knowing some people were not even from the family. That's how wise our parents were. They built families, they built societies. You learn. All the people who condemn it are those who will condemn anything else. why?Because successful people don't come out to be telling you how they did it, they keep working. This is what we have today, there are so many bad marriages out there that people will tell you not to get married. It is because the mind loves negative stories first and we act out of fear.

It was people that were in this kind of situations, that took in other children that we used to go and meet in those days because they are wise enough to manage conflicts, differences and multiple personalities. It's no wonder today, we have people who cannot even talk to their shadow, they have left African culture and embracing technology of microwave me me me and me only. They don't know how to handle people.
We are increasingly having bastards in our society and adopting the Black American life where the fathers are not present and we think those kids will become angels tomorrow. Time will tell.

OP, none of us will remain with you at night time when you are alone. I will advise you, stop looking for societal validation. You are mature enough to see what you want in someone. Society won't help you love her. Be a man, set your house in order the way YOU WANT IT. People are always gonna talk and say stuff. Do what is in line with your personal values. That's the best advice I can give you. Advice is best given when you are not in someone's shoes. I know people who take care of other children and they are not even expecting anything from the woman, she still goes on to marry another man. The man was never doing it because he wanted her juices, he did it because that's him. If you love THIS woman, make up your family structure and make sure it works for you. There are several people who have been in your shoes before. THEY made their new family work. You are the head of house, set your boundaries and be a father to those kids.

He who takes the child by the heart, takes the mother by the heart

Correct the mistake you made with your ex and start a new life with this woman if that is what you want. Set the terms and conditions now. Better still, see a therapist, it is very important you discuss the concerns and unique circumstances that we may not be able to understand on an online platform with a professional. Speak to family especially the older ones, they can see some things you will be missing because your eyes are already falling for love.
