You think the producer is responsible for logistics? If they entered a plane and it crashed, you will blame her? Okay let me blame the Super Bowl for the death of Access Bank CEO then. angry[sup][/sup]

How's a culture black man and backwardness? Some of you hate yourself and look for everything to blame

If the white man tells you to use left hand and some crazy rules just to eat food, it is progress but when we eat with our hands, it's inanities. Don't be a slave.

A man without identity is a nobody. The earlier you realise that, the faster you discover yourself. You don't have anything that belongs to you that is unique, you want to imitate people that don't have values, culture and tradition and think you are progressing. The joke is on you

I agree with her even though I don't agree with what they said she did. I don't want media trials, we need to separate facts from fiction. This was how they accused Emefiele of everything until he started to sue. Before it was Dasuki, it was also Abacha. In this Nigeria if you're not careful, they will just be hanging a dead man again and again while they are the criminals

This Japan has a very stable family structure rooted in values. Also, discipline is well inculcated in her citizens. Most of our problems are rooted in indiscipline.
You are right, this is why when Nigerians land in another country, they become so law abiding but the moment they enter the Nigerian Airport, they start to behave silly and unruly. The society condoned them, that's why.

The Japanese children are taught very early in school how to behave, wash, clean the class and other things. Haven't you noticed that they always get the admiration of FIFA after every world cup? They also pay fines for littering and you must pay to dispose your dirt. They use technology to have a clean society

I don't care about you people and your petty arguments to trash each other.

As I have written before, it's not until Tinubu's time that pure water became a thing in Lagos. That was one of Jakande's lasting legacies. The wasted opportunity to make Lagos Water Supply to all residents in Lagos beats me when people call him visionary. Potable water supply is a given in any so-called mega city. Lagos should be ashamed that boreholes have taken over instead of government supplying water to all.

Jakande had put in place structures to supply water to Lagosians. When Tinubu came in as governor, it started changing and pure water companies started coming in different places.

The colonial mind of the African speaks

The child she calls Pablo and thinks is posh is not doing anything but wearing clothes, the correct child who is Ogbuefi but she thinks don suffer is displaying life skills and creativity. He can think with his head and find something doing. He is not whining about indomie noodles or video game taken from him but already discovering LIFE. He is living with elders and that's wisdom 2.0. People who grew up with grandparents matured quickly because old people have seen the world. It's a lifetime experience he will thank you for. Children of today are causing nuisance because we cut off parents from raising kids, everyone wants to live modern life and no one is looking after children again. Parents leave kids with mobile phones and internet to raise them up. Thank God he's not watching cocomelon and drinking caprisonne. He is watching the environment, studying nature and drinking fresh coconut drink that is good for his health.
He will understand the value of what men and women do and quickly get responsible.

Pablo will become demanding and grow up to treat women like olosho because mummy gave him everything. Later feminists will be disturbing him while he starts posting on NL about alpha male on his meta phone.

Ogbuefi the great man. Give that boy time and watch him solve the problem of his community with the brain God gave him to think.

What we call hardship is what covenience will later pay for in the gym because their health will tell that you can't cheat nature

Hmmm. Nigerians so hypocritical. We feign disgust over these habits but yet we pray and fast to be given visas to Japa to the land of Sodom and Gomorah rather than remain in Naija which is a sane land. I don't get it. Our Naija people who live in these countries of LGBT are not returning to Naija because of these habits and we come on the Internet to curse a people who have made life livable for their citizens on earth. Let's fight the real evil which is corruption by the people in power and not something that some people do with their lives over the social media.
This is like saying British are hypocritical for coming to a country that lets women marry more than 1 man and stay in a poverty land. These same people will call us fantastically corrupt but are still coming here. When they opened the border during covid see them plenty at the Airport. They even come here can to be CEOs and mind their business. Can you see how your logic is flawedhuh

Alot of naive kids passed through alot in many institutions and some didn't recover with some even committing suicide.
It's extremely ludicrous for someone to say no one went through that act in Nigeria.
It was swept under the carpet because it will be difficult for a kid to accuse his teacher nurturing him.
Where will he even start from.
I think any place that has men without women will likely have this abuse. Boys school, military camps, prison

The first person that made me know the word MouthAction was from military boys school
Romance › Re: Some Male Secondary School Teachers Sexually Abused Their Male Students by papyjaypaul: 5:48pm On Apr 06, 2024
spearszed:
There’s a Nigerian movie titled “October 1”, produced and directed by the fine Kunle Afolayan. It’s one of these very impressive Nigerian movies that can be categorized as “foreign Nigerian movies”. The movie held its audience spell-bound till the very end. You could not predicate what may happen the next second so you just had to sit tight and see for yourself.

Given the significance October 1 holds in Nigeria, one would quickly assume that the movie is themed around politics. Well, far from it. The movie was about a serial killer who always raped his victims before killing them. Just that events of the story happened around the time we were granted independence.

The killer was highly calculative and seemed to always be a step ahead of the Police officer who was transferred to the village specifically to unravel the misery behind all the killings. Well, the killer turned out to be the Prince of the village who had recently returned after many years of glorious exploits in pursuit of education, becoming the first graduate of the village. Making his father, the King proud and affirming that royalty really has the finest.

This is not a movie review, but the background of that movie is similar to my discussion. Recently, reports were received on long records of sexual abuse by Catholic Priests. Though the records unravelled are for a particular state in the United States, but it would be denial to think that cases of sexual abuse by Priests is peculiar to just that parish, church or state.
I already told you the movie, October 1 was quite intriguing. You see, it was unraveled that the serial killer and rapist was a victim of sexual abuse in the hands of a Priest almost throughout his duration in secondary school.

The long duration of the abuse is really disheartening, more so is the fact that the killer was not the only one who was abused. As twisted as the movie was, the young Prince and another boy won a scholarship to study in a boarding school managed by a church. The other boy returned home, abandoning the school and education entirely (abhorring both afterwards) and never told anyone why. The reason for his “drop-out” was unraveled alongside the identity of the killer. It turned out they both, and other boys in the school then were being molested by a Priest. The other boy could not take it any longer and he returned home. Forgoing the opportunity of acquiring education and all other opportunities that may come with being educated.

The recent report implicating Catholic Priests across six Catholic Dioceses in Pennsylvania in many decades of sexual molestation and abuse on children and other parishioners is a rude scandal both for/to the Roman Catholic church and the Christendom at large.

As more information is being uncovered, revealing many years of amoral acts that was carried out and covered-up by people many people look up to for moral guidance and standard. A scandal like this leads many to a crisis of fate, worse still in a world like ours today that is in disarray of beliefs and what to believe. Going by the narration in October 1, who knows how many people that have given up on opportunities just because they could not live the horrors of living a life of everyday abuse? Or how many people that were able to “cope with it” and went on to live fractured lives, harming and causing others pain.

Over the years, “men of God” have been implicated in allegations of misdealings and heinous acts. These allegations are not restricted to matters of sexuality only. One thing this scandal should teach is first, the (now) undeniable reality of sexual abuse in the church. Secondly, the fallibility of Catholic Priests and the church(and all of its members) at large. We should look at this second point from a positive angle for it would soothe the guilt that plagues many hearts. For it is easy to seek redemption if you recognize and admit your own fallibility.

Men will keep it until it affects them later. Please cry, act like macho in front everyone so you are not weak but when you are alone, cry if it comes.

From your comment I can deduce you bias already On one hand you praise Glo for crashing sim price if am not mistaken, on the other you condemn them for poor service.

Now let me ask you, how poor as Glo been compare to other networks ? I use both Glo n Airtel interchangeably n am yet to see a single advantage of any over each other.

Have you ever flown Air Peace before n compare their services to ordinary Kenya Airline talk more of Air France Virgin n BA ?

Just before you start running your mouth again understand that Ford Chevy does not offer same quality to Hyundai Honda Benz in the USA. Make I no talk pass like that for now.
I'm sorry, your comparison is not passing the point. We applauded Glo when they came but they started messing up and some people wanted us to use sentiments to accept shitty service. They always want Nigerians to turn a blind eye to good service in the name 9f fellow Nigerian. It's our businesses that suffer because people pay for convenience, they don't pay for shitty service. Air Peace, if it doesn't maintain high standard will not succeed because if they fall below par, people will pay for convenience and excellent service, which is the advantage the foreign airlines have. I think you should watch Allen Onyema's interview on Arise to understand.
