I drive a corolla and I must confess,it is one of the worst cars ever made by mankind.

I hate am pass anything and i own the 2015 model.

Growing up sucks tbh,if It was like say 23/24 year old me I for just go carry 015 CLS 550 like this,whatever happens ,happens...

You did yourself a disservice buying a car you loath daily! The price of a 2015 Corolla aint cheap and still capable of getting something less insulting and more fun to drive, although not a "15 CLS.

Whenever i'm cruising my "14 Corolla and one of the big-body benzs zoom pass me i just turn my face to the pedestrians on the side walk, then suddenly i feel like a benz and they like my slow corolla!

The reckless drivers giving our slow but dependable Corollas a bad name are the Uber, Bolt & Taxify drivers. They are always in a hurry to meet up & deliver just like all the other reckless commercial drivers you see on the road. The big boys driving Benzs, BMWs...... V6s, V8s & V12s make una no vex when you see a Corolla pass you by, no be competition, the driver behind that car has a monthly target, him no send you na him belle him dey find. Corollas that fall in that category are from 2003 to 2010. If you see a reckless Corolla driver from 2011- 2020 then he is most likely an office driver. Owners of the 11th & 12th generation Corollas know how expensive it costs (parts no be here o), reckless driving is not an option when even a 2013 corolla (last 10th generation Corolla)reach 4m!

For performance, if any;
Camry is the fastest, a v6 will be alot better the rest are slow.
For maintenance the Civic slightly takes the lead, the vibe & matrix are thesame car, just different exterior, they are second.

No sensible person will drive a convertible stacked down under the rain for fear of being drenched (and getting sick), exposing the car to electrical faults and soaking up upholstery. The retractable roof obviously went bad as the rain started leaving the poor dude without a choice but to man-up, chin-up and ride the storm, only if you all could tell whats going on in his mind. Laughing at him is similar to laughing at someone caught under the rain while at the bus stop with no alternative but to walk it out! How many of us carry umbrellas during rainy season, even the umbrellas fail sometimes, but we rather laugh at another mans predicament, pathetic!

Ok, quick recovery. Guys, the picture taken at the scene calls for a small quiz;

- who was at fault?
- The two cars involved?
- the exact location?

Maybe the headlights are offset, most times we overlook this simple fix. No matter how bright our bulbs are, if they are not set properly we will not get desired results.

Your headlights use 9005 halogen or 9005LED highbeam 9006 or 9006LED low lowbeam. Buy original philips bulbs.

I drove a similar ride to yours with similar complaints, i changed the bulbs did the settings, it improved but my wind shield had serious issue of hard water stains which made it painful to drive at night regardless of improved brightness.

Your Issue may be one of the 3 issues or all of the 3 i stated above. Mine was all 3. I was never able to get the hard water stains out of the windscreen until i sold the car.

GLK is by far a better ride than the others. Though it attracts more female drivers than other benz SUVs there is nothing feminine about that ride, ladies just feel more comfortable in a compact ride.

The only downside is, it is more expensive to own and maintain than the others or any other compact SUV of its class.

Practically, yes you can use a generator to jump start a dead car battery, but the time and means to do it (Tools, Cables, Technical know how)may be harder than just begging your neighbor, friend, mechanic or hire/ buy another one.

But if you still feel adventurous and can cover any unforseen damages then........

Most times its not the machine, but the man behind the wheels. I remember 6 years back, traveling to KD with some friends, i was driving my friends 2005 Highlander at about 100- 110km/hr, from no where a white C300 passed me with ease, like it wasnt speeding at all. Well, na benz, i shrugged if off. The Highlander was fresh toks, engine sharp, suspension tight, no one had overtook me in that journey until now, i wasnt gonna be intimidated! But before i knew it, another white BMW 3 series swooshed by just like the benz.

At this point my friends had automatically adjusted themselves, all jists came to a halt cause they knew we were in for a ride. It was like my mindset had synchronised with the occupants, even the owner of the car was like "lets go there"! I got that poor but capable Highlander to 160-170km/hr, i caught up with the BMW in no time....liverless. On getting to the benz, the drivers mindset was like; Highlander ke!? Wetin concern me, the speed demon had taken over me, pedal to the floor! The driver of the benz was stubborn but gave in, all the occupants cheered with their hearts in their mouths, my ego was boosted. I had become one with the machine.

At the end of the day, after doing my daily recap and assessment, i just came to a conclusion of how foolish i was putting lives in danger, disregarding my family. I have learnt bitter lessons from speed in my younger years but....

I understand the OPs mindset, the race was not premeditated, but with so much horse power Its hard not to test it, thats why i stick to my slow riding Corolla. If any body intimidate me for road, nothing i fit do pass 130hp! My vex go just calm down by him Self.

The first thing i noticed before reading the story. That mugshot alone shows how unprofessional NPF is.

I am not a fan of vintage cars. Apart from the value they have over time, i cant see myself drooling over or driving a 30, 40, 50..... 100yr old car!

Toyota can manufacture 2015 model in 2020 , that doesn't make it a 2020 model boss

Toyota will never manufacture a 2015 model car in 2020. Pls read and understand where my mistake of dates came from before going further. You obviously know cars, channel your remaining energy into advising who wants to buy a car.

@ Gravator & Revived2, you guys obviously know what i was talking about. All this energy used in explaining my error would have been channeled at helping the guy out!

Even going as far as researching what car i drive! na wa oh!
