Phones › Re: When Last Did You Use The Weather App On Your Phone? by PAQ(m): 6:41am On Apr 02, 2021
As technology savvy as i am, the weather app is the least used by me. I enjoyed the look of it during my HTC days (htc butterfly, htc oneS & htc M8), as the weather and clock widget looked beautiful on the home screen.

Apart from the HTCs, the first thing i do when i buy a phone is to root it. The next is to uninstall the weather app & any other bloatware. I have lived without the weather app and it hasnt affected my daily life so far.

In Nigeria our seasons are straight forward; we know rainy seasons, heat period and harmattan. Even the weeks were it rains everyday, there are also bright sunny days that suddenly turn to heavy rain the moment you step out of the house. Almost every Nigerian fit look sky then forcast the weather. grin

Thanks man.

I am learning fast.

Just to confirm I still understand English, you're advising that I change the bumper and other parts completely (whenever I am ready) instead of working on them at the moment?
Lol. Patch whatever little damage you made. No mind me. Hopefully wen ur hand is strong you'll afford another cleaner ride.

You understand me perfectly

LOL! I don bash the car oooo, as a learner.

I would have to work on the bumper much later when I don advance.
Ah! Sorry for the minor accident, pause on doing any body work on the car for now, hold on till towards the end of the year so that incase you happen to have any other minor body repairs you can have it all don at once.

Avoid working on any replaceable part (bumper, fender, bonnet etc) they are not too expensive to replace. Its cheaper to work on and may look good at first but over time it shows its ugliness.

YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SCREWED IN THE CAR angry

Christianity Etc › Re: Is God Really Against Taking Alcohol Or Just Against Excess Of It? by PAQ(m): 11:32am On Mar 28, 2021
John 2:1-11, Jesus Christs first miracle was turning water to wine at a wedding for people to celebrate and merry.

If alcohol was forbidden he would have left water in its pure form. People would have still drank and quenched their thirst, but a celebration is not about quenching thirst.

Wine is defined; an alcoholic drink made from fermented grape juice.

Wine is the most common alcoholic beverage mentioned in biblical literature, where it is a source of symbolism, and was an important part of daily life in biblical times.

Family › Re: My Wife’s Salary Was A Mystery Until I Discovered How Much She’s Truly Worth* by PAQ(m): 11:35pm On Mar 25, 2021
If i were in your shoes, i will;
1. Let her keep her car. The car also serves her and the
kids. Going to market, taking the kids to school ,
friends etc
2. dont sell off your land or bother changing names
either, if you are to build a house it will be home to
your kids too.

Have it in mind that everything you had bought and shared ownership with your wife, your share is for your kids well being. Women can be very secretive and thrifty but your wife took it too far, maybe unknowingly or through poor advice from her family. Give her a second chance, but you guys have to come clean and state clearly what responsibilities should be shared and what you will handle alone.

Make her and her family feel stupid for choosing material things over trust and you. I bet you she will have no choice but to be submissive %100.

Everyone deserves one more chance, but if it doesnt work out. Then there is no need being in a painful relationship.

Only number 2 point is valid. The rest are a product of the usual bandwagon thingy.
1. Toyota is the largest automobile company in the
world, (was second for many years behind VW
which is number 1.)
2. Toyota Camry, Corolla, Rav4, 4Runner &
LandCruiserr are the leaders in their various
segments. Their sales volume in America alone
(a car crazyy society) speaks reliability.
3. Lexus RX is the first Luxury Cross over vehicle.

I dont do band wagon. I talk facts. A Subaru or Suzuki can never be compared to a Toyota! I repeat; Tested and Trusted.

Car Talk › Re: Will You Pay ₦8.2 Billion For This "New York" License Plate? by PAQ(m): 11:51pm On Mar 22, 2021
In Nigeria here i wouldnt buy it for N1K! But if i where in the USA, and i can afford it, i definitely will. Whites attach alot of value to antiques.

In 20yrs from now, if well preserved that licence plate will be worth alot more, and getting a buyer over there will not be hard.
Car Talk › Re: Lexus RX330 (05) Vs Subaru Tribeca (05) Vs Suzuki XL-7(08) by PAQ(m): 10:42pm On Mar 22, 2021
If you must choose Nigerian used between the three cars, the Lexus should be your choice, why? Because;

1. Its a Toyota, trusted and tested.
2. You see more of it than the other two, which means
readily available parts & technical know how.
3. If you see a particular brand everywhere its because
its reliable, thats why our roads are also filled with
Camrys, Corollas, Accords, Civics, C300s, RXs etc
4. It should be more Luxurious and comfortable than
its competitors.

Before you buy make thorough checks with a trusted mechanic.

As a rational and reasonable human being every one Wu like to upgrade in order to enhance his status in the society

I'm currently riding 2006 Toyota Highlander and wu like to upgrade to a higher version

By accusing me of being greedy is out of context and if you don't have any advise to give It is better you keep shut
Bros abeg dont mind that rude bro. 2009 Highlander is good car, reliable by all standards. Get your mechanic to check for leakages & gear selection. Also check tires, the body for rusts and the shocks. Ask if the seller had done a vin check to know the history and how long it has been driven on our roads.

You are a greedy person. Why will u wanna buy car bigger than u. Better use that money and buy benz or a car your budget can fit as tokunbo. Buy naija used,na u no o
Your comment is quite rude. There are good Naija used vehicles, its just a matter of how well maintained they are, which will be revealed after a thorough check up. Most of the cars i have owned are still on the road enjoyed by their respective owners.

Even abroad people by second hand cars, even classic cars of over 50yrs go through many owners. So i dont know what your statement about being greedy lies.
Car Talk › Re: Toyota Camry 2015 - Is It A Nice Car To Buy? by PAQ(m): 11:41am On Mar 16, 2021
The Camry has a good reason to be one of Toyota's best selling cars ever made. It is not a Luxury sedan by any means, that is reserved for the Benzs, BMWs etc But it is a very reliable, respected vehicle with modern day safety tech and comfort.

If you want some power for added excitement go for the V6.

Business › Re: Business Ideas For A 5 Million Naira Capital by PAQ(m): 8:58pm On Mar 12, 2021
1. Importation of cars; with 5 million, you can import
two toyota corollas' (2003-05). Easy to sell and
you'll make good profit.

2. If you have a land, you can go into animal
husbandry, rare pigs, goats, sheep etc

3. If you have a wife/girl that knows how to cook, food
businesss is always good business.

4. You can get a car or two for Uber, Taxify, bolt etc. If
you dont mind driving yourself, its better there is
moneyy to be made, but no easy.

All businesses need patience, perseverance and determination. And they all come with risks. Bottom line 5 million naira is not much to start anything big, but i have seen small businesses grow into big businesses.
