Joshcoli: These BATISTs are beyond reason! Even if Tinubu were to commit the most barbaric acts, they'd still chant his praises and bow before him. Don't bother trying to argue with them; their minds are locked in a delusional loyalty that even suffering can't shake. Yes o, suffering just start in Nigeria under Tinubu. Nigeria was a rosy counry before with no one suffering. |

Great2017: It is now Tinubu administration not the PDP or the APC. Is it Tinubu's administration that created the sources of revenue he is benefiting from? You are of a kind, you accepted asset but rejected liability. Nigeria cannot move forward with this kind of mentality. Is Tinubu administration paying the debt or not? I wander if is hunger that makes some of you guys this fraustrated online or you're just so bitter a Yoruba Muslim is ruling the country |

EmeeNaka: This is not a good news. The APC regime is bereft of ideas. They're run by charlatans and emergency lovers of Nigeria who are bent on borrowing unserviceable amount of loans to build white elephant projects, all in the name of developing their own region. The amount of loans that have been lined up for borrowing will make this current situation a child play in future. Can you kindly explain how this is not a good news? |

Enyimbafc: For more than 58 years igbos have never produce a president, even after fighting a civil war.Today bring 5 million people each from this tribes hausa, fulani, yoruba etc and compare among them which of them is doing better.Go to almost all the 774 LGAs in Nigeria, and check who are those controlling the major markets and businesses e.g Electronics, spare parts, filling stations, building materials, pharmceutical stores, provision stores, indigenous industries etc.In human developement i.e sports, education, health etc which tribe are faring better.Igbos are not known to be political prostitutes, and are performing very well without the corrupt Nigeria politics.PRESIDENCY does not determine the destiny of people but only GOD determines. You will wail till 2031 |

Travel › Lagos-Kano Rail Begins Freight Operations In June, Says FG by Paraman(op): 2:19pm On May 10, 2024 |
The Federal Government has announced that the Lagos-Kano narrow gauge rail line is set to begin freight services.
The contractors revealed this during the visit of the Minister of Transportation, Saidu Alkali, to the site for an on-the-spot inspection of the project in Kano State on Thursday.
This follows an update from the contractors, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation indicating that the line has been connected to the Zawaciki Dala Dry Port in Kano, the commercial hub of the state.
The minister stated that starting freight operations would extend the lifespan of the nation’s highways and help reduce the number of auto accident-related deaths among Nigerians.
Alkali noted significant progress compared to his first visit and expressed satisfaction with the pace of work.
He also revealed that the project would be divided into segments to facilitate smoother, more efficient, and quicker completion.
He noted, “This is the second leg of my inspection since I took over as the minister of Transportation and the essence of the inspection is to see by myself with a team from the Ministry of Transportation and Engineers from the Railway Corporation and the consultant and the contractors, so that we ensure compliance in term of time and in term of specifications.
“But the impression I have from the last visit I came is that the progress is remarkable from what I have seen.
“We came all the way from Kano, we drove on the formation that they did, they are doing the earthwork and the culvert and this is a station where they have started preparing the rail lines and the slippers so that they will use their locomotive to convey the materials on the rail line.”
The minister also said that, “I have just discussed with the contractor, we are going to segment the project by the grace of God. We are going to put Kano-Daura next year and Daura to Maradi in 2026 and Dutse to Kano in 2026.” https://punchng.com/lagos-kano-rail-begins-freight-operations-in-june-says-fg/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social
