Quack Analysis. You wicked human you failed to tell us how much prices of commodities were under OBJ, Yaradua, GEJ and failed Buhari. You failed to tell how much citizens paid for PMS under these past leaders. Your wicked leader could not even give PMS or tackle the fraud associated with it like the over invoicing at NNPC etc.
Tell us how much fuel was sold for in 1999 before Obasanjo took over and how much it was in 2007 when he was about to handover to Yardua

If it's the road that lead from Gbogan to Oshogbo that was repaired by Adeleke, then the APC should shut up. I wander how Oyetola won't touch a major road like that.

My eyes saw pepper on that road in

I laugh when I hear people thanking Gowon for abolishing the 4 Region's Nigeria had and creating states. These people think it was for their benefit but they are yet to understand that it was for the benefit of Gowon and his fellow Northern cohorts

These people never bothered to read the Decrees Gowon used in creating states to realise that Gowon not only gave the North half of the states he created, but that Gowon also abolished resource control and placed all resources in the hands of the Federal government.

As for the war, These people do not also realise that it was Gowon who broke the peace agreement him and Ojukwu signed in Aburi, Ghana, which led to war

Ignorance is a terrible disease
Gowon did didn't abolish resource control, it was Ironsi who abolished the powers of the regions(states).

And stop crying on behalf of those people. They don't want to be part of Igbo land.

PoliticsPort Harcourt-Aba Train Service Begins Operation Month End – FG by Paraman(op): 5:14pm On Mar 02, 2024
The Federal Government, on Saturday, said train services on the Port Harcourt to Aba route would commence operations by the end of March.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Port Harcourt-Aba rail project is part of the larger Port Harcourt-Maiduguri railroad project initiated by former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

The Managing Director, Nigeria Railway Corporation, Mr. Fidet Okhiria, disclosed this in Port Harcourt after leading a delegation to test-run the reconstructed of Eastern Narrow Guage Rail line.

He said workers were currently putting finishing touches on the tracks to ensure that full train operations could begin within the month.

“I am impressed with what I saw today, especially being able to ride the locomotive and wagon on the tracks.

“Last time we visited, we could not use the train because the contractor said it was not proper to run on the train due to imbalance of the tracks.

“The Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo, has directed that the Port Harcourt route be connected to rail as well as initiate the linkage of Onne Port,” he said.

Okhiria expressed confidence that the contractor would complete the ‘tampering’ of the railroad within two weeks, preceding the targeted three weeks for the train services to resume.

“We are pushing the contractor to make the track safe by deploying semi-automatic signalling of the machine points rather than manual operation.

“Despite resource challenges, the contractors are doing their best and our goal is to achieve this within the next two weeks.

“With this, we aim to commence passenger train services hopefully within March and fully resume transporting people from Port Harcourt to Aba by the end of March,” he assured.

The NRC boss said the project design team had started designing a rail track to connect the Port Harcourt-Aba railroad line to the Onne seaport.

He added that the corporation had begun collaborating with the port’s terminal manager and leading engineers to ensure a smooth project delivery.

“The initial design has been done and handed over to us. We look at it, make corrections and seek approval. Once approved, work will commence,” he added.

Regarding transport fares, Okhiria mentioned that due to the current high cost of diesel, commuters might have to pay higher fares than what was obtainable before.

He said if the NRC could not cover 100 per cent fuel cost, it would aim to generate at least 50 per cent from passengers to sustain operations.

“Additionally, we will assess the conditions of the roads with intent to cover at least 50 per cent of the road costs.

“The government is working with relevant security agencies to ensure adequate security of the rain line and the linkage of security devices from the trains to the control room.

“Communities should protect what the government is putting in place for us. We are striving to ensure that people who come on the train are safe,” he noted.

Okhiria cautioned traders against conducting business on the rail lines, as the trains would no longer slow down for them to remove their goods before passing.

He said that the trains were scheduled to run according to fixed times across all railroads in the country.

BusinessFOREX Debt: CBN Owing Only Five Banks, Says Cardoso by Paraman(op): 2:18pm On Mar 01, 2024
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Olayemi Cardoso, has said that foreign exchange backlogs have been cleared in all the banks except for five of them.

Cardoso said this on Thursday during an investor call facilitated by the Nigerian Exchange Group, during which he said that the remainder of the banks’ FX backlogs would be cleared in the next few days.

The CBN governor stated, “Basically, what we have done with those is that we have paid as much as we can to the point where we have cleared the backlog of all the banks save five. All the banks’ genuine and verifiable backlogs have been cleared, save five.

“We are confident that we will shortly be in a position where the whole issue of forwards would be behind us. I would say in the next few days we should be in a position where the balance of the five would have been put behind us.

“I have tried as much as possible to be consistent on this matter. I don’t make promises I don’t fulfil. The last time I spoke on this matter, I was confident that within one month, we would be more or less out of it and I’m saying again that right now, I think in the course of the next few days maybe a week and a half, this should be put behind us.”

The apex bank governor also revealed that Nigeria had attracted $2bn in foreign portfolio inflows this year.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria recorded a total of $3bn in foreign portfolio inflows in 2023.

In an interview in early February, Cardoso had revealed that about $2.4bn of the $7bn foreign exchange backlog he met when he got into office were from non-existing entities, and requests without import documents among other infractions.

“We discovered that of the roughly $7bn, about $2.4bn had issues. We believed that they had no business being there. The infractions ranged from so many things. For example, not having valid import documents and in some cases entities that did not exist and in some cases, account parties who had asked for foreign exchange and got more than they asked for and some that didn’t even ask for any and got. There were a whole load of infractions there,” he said.

There's nothing you have said here that's not done and can't be done in the NDA.
This is a bad precedence that has even been laid by buratai. other chief of staffs can follow buratai lead by establishing a university in their villages.

The military should focus on her responsibility.

Quodseverismete:
Some of you will just open mouth and say what you don't even have an idea of. NAUB has recently become one of best University in Nigeria, graduated 2sets of graduates within 6years of it's existence, there's no strike like other conventional universities. Students from all parts of Nigeria are applying for courses in over 10 faculties that was accredited by NUC an angency of FG. In Nigerian Army University, a 4years program has always been 4years, no interuption, in the university, civilians and military work alongside each other, an opportunity you get anywhere. So many world class Laboratories, Libraries, ICT center and many infrastructures you cannot see in old generational universities are already spread of in the Army University. So, to come to the internet accused someone of wasting money is unfair. Take a visit to the school and see things before you conclude.
There's nothing you have said here that's not done and can't be done in the NDA.

The army should focus on her main responsibility and objective and stop wasting money on frivolous things like establishing a university.

This is a waste of money by the army under buratai. In future, i hope other chief of staffs in the military won't also waste money establishing universities in their village.
