IT IS FOOLHARDY AND HEAD-SLAMMING TO DENY THE OBVIOUS. Bro, I'm Igbo and I concur to this. Nobody will like for his maternal land to be call such. Sadly this notion of "No Man's Land" was birthed during the election period. |

Godsonkemz: The same thing I've been saying over and over that the problem we have in this country is not even the hausa/fulani but the unity beggars aka afonjas. They enthroned a failure like Buhari because they felt that's the only way to get at the Igbos who voted massively for Goodluck Jonathan. And when they were given a second chance to correct their mistakes, they made another one by voting Buhari promax. If you speak the truth, nairaland would ban you because it's working for jagaban. But I don't care if am banned or not. I will always condemn the wickedness of the APC against the masses. Bros see, it's not even about Jonathan. Since Nigeria became a country how many times has Igbo man became President or even VP. It's clear for everyone to see that this Presidency supposed to go to South East as the rotation of power most of these political parties signed on the accord and also in fairness of democracy and equality in the nation and balance of power. No tribe in this country is more pro-nigerian than the Igbos yet they still marginalized them and play hate politics against them. |

grandstar: Being emotional won't change the fact that 1 + 1= 2.
Look at the massive increase in government revenue after ending the petrol subsidies in very early June and floating the Naira in the middle of June.
https://www.nairaland.com/7769994/faac-share-n1.959-trillion-revenue#124512669
The revenue this coming July will be much higher. That was how much the government was not only losing but borrowing. The country was borrowing money because of this subsidies as it was starving the government of money.
Yes, the removal was painful. I have only fuelled my Gen once since the petrol subsidy was removed. But because it was the right thing to do, I have accepted it. All these trash 🗑 statistics and trash links. One guy by name Lexy2014 asked you a question, why haven't you answered him?? |

grandstar: Just imagine a truck was on your daughters leg and was crushing it-would you take your time to look for the "best" way of removing or you'll focus on just removing it as quickly as possible.
What Tinubu has done or approved of is what you call "Shock Therapy." Many economist prefer this to the slow and steady approach especially in country's facing an economic crisis.
Government such as Lebanon, Pakistan, Argentina and even Italy would wish they had Tinubu's power to bring about such change within their own countries.
The end of both subsidies should have been years ago. The petrol subsidy was consuming 20% of the budget. Already debt servicing was higher than government revenue. Imagine if servicing your debt was higher than your salary and it was getting worse every month? I've been reading all comments, going through people's expressions until I got to this comment. Wait, let me ask: Are you a graduate or still in Secondary, Cos I marvel at the level of dilapidated education system in Nigeria?? So this is the best logic you can come up with?? Ok! To get down to your "level" of reasoning since you area big time(MUMU) with zero IQ. Just imagine: A sharp object fell into the eye of your kid, would you forcefully pull it out as the ODE you were Born To Be OR would you Gently get ride it not to affect the delicate part of the eye( which is the Cornea) "MASSES" to further damage it?? This is the nonsense type of logic reasoning you're bringing up to a different related topic that has nothing to do with life threatening situation. Foooool!! |

pquaver: Stop lieing.. You cant enter 9ja with expired passport without written letter.. You are foolish liar.. which document are u going to tender sef at the port of depature... People wey na travel go dey make noise Try to have sense. Tinubu is a dual citizenship. If he wants to go to Guinea from any Nigerian airport, he doesn't have to have any written documents. Based on the fact: 1. Ecowas Passport. Visa free or Visa grant at the Port of entry. 2. Since he's a Nigerian citizen and holds a Nigerian Passport at Port of Exit, and also present his Guinean passport as his next destination or Port of arrival, he is free to leave. Once he lands in Guinea, all he needs to do is to show his Guinean passport at the Port of entrance( whether invalid or not) to confirm his citizenship for him to enter. NOTE: This is only applicable between the two countries. Furthermore, assuming he was in Cameroun or Ghana and wants to travel to Guinea with his "expired passport" all he needs to do is to go to the Guinean embassy in Ghana or Cameroun or whatsoever country he is residing for documentation that will enable him exit the airport of that country to Guinea. |

AjaoEstater: Example- Republic of Ireland which I lived in for nearly 15 years have 5 million inhabitants and 5 million phone users. The mobile/phone user is the closest to actual census even though someone can have like two phones. Nigeria have 225 million phone users so it over 200 million inhabitants (with some little errors) and 190 million internet users (the internet data is even more realistic than phone data). SMH. Comparing A 3rd world country with a Developed one? If I talk now they say I'm abusive. Bros, if you are in Nigeria, please look for professors, they will enlighten you. |

anungangampu: All you guys know is quoting statistics that took 30-50yrs to achieve with strong institutions and alot of compromise. China Invested alot in Education and at least solved alot of issues that mitigate patriotism. What Nigeria is doing isn't different from what China did in the 60s. But the issue we have here is the opposite of what is happening in China. Chinese goes to US and comes back to China to startup while Nigeria does thesame and are not willing to return as we don't have a peaceful environment for startup. In most cases the ones trained here are leaving. We have to solve our issue with patriotism without that Nigeria will keep dreaming. Even their education sef is useless. Half-baked graduates everywhere. You may be surprised the guy you're quoting may be a graduate with masters. Look at these pictures, it's among the major cities in Northern Nigeria. Take a look at the surrounding, there is one building that is better than all the thousands of houses/homes in this picture. That is exactly one of the problem of Africa and black man.
