Again it wasn't cancelled, the producers decided to end the show, there's a big difference between the two. A show is mostly cancelled because of low ratings, lack of funds can also be a factor even though it's not common. Let me elucidate further, the leftovers will end after it's 3rd season which will air next year, Orphan Black will also end after next year's 5th and final season. Now this shows decided to end on their own accord and not because the TV network executives wanted them off air because of poor ratings. All TV shows if given the time will end at a particular period of their choice so merlin ended because the producers wanted it to end and not because the TV network execs wanted it to. There's a huge difference.

the difference is that it wasn't cancelled by the TV network that aired it as they were even advocating for a 6th season, rather it was ended by the producers because they felt that they didn't have enough story to continue thus felt that ending was the right thing to do.

I think people here should start identifying the genres that they are interested in so as to reduce these misplaced damming assessments that they give to movies. If your interest lies in action, then focus on action movies, if it's in romance, comedy, psychology, drama, horror, supernatural, mystery, crime, adventure, Sci-fi, martial arts, sword and sandals, etc then identify with those movies instead of criticizing a movie simply because it doesn't interest you.


You should be able to know the various genres that interests you so that you can pick and watch movies with those particular genres. Now I'm not saying that some movies which are universally shiit doesn't deserve criticism(of course they do) but when a movie like say for example, deadpool, which is loved by the majority doesn't suit your taste then it's not in your area of choice.

The vampire diaries have been cancelled. Season 8 which will consist of just 16 episodes will be its last.

fast forward............ dean came back with the help of a vampire who also came back but Castial deliberately refused to join them because he thought being there will atone for the evil he has done against heaven and earth.

fast forward......... now am watching the dude on ma screen because a group of angels decided to rescue him so that they can use him for something am yet to find out

it wasn't Lucifer that raised him in season 5, it was God, it was always God that raised him so that the winchesters can have some sort of angelic assistance.

Now, how does it feel to have your parents get shot at in front of you at a young age of eight years? The image will forever haunt him. Let us fast forward a bit, this batman in BvS didn't believe that any good can come out of any man (watch his conversation with Alfred). His life experience made him hardened, Robin's death made him ruthless and superman/zod's destruction of Wayne tower in Metropolis made him more angry. The fact that - he froze at the mention of the name Martha by superman - simply projected the root of his insecurity: his parents' death. It is purely logical to me, his parents' death was the origin of his double life!

He's also not the first person to watch his parents killed in front of him, many kids passed through worse. Nobody is accusing him of mourning their death but it shouldn't be a big bother to him 40 years later regardless of who he lost later. Did anybody force Robin to put on a hero's Cape? At least he died on the job which shouldn't be a big cause of concern since the path he took was dangerous.

Also the anger towards supes is unwarranted. Supes didn't destroy his building with intent, he was fighting for the human race abi Bruce forgot about the zod takeover? You see the various problems that the movie had. The Wayne tower wasn't the only building that was destroyed and the people inside weren't the only ones killed in the aftermath of the fight. Where was he when supes was fighting zod and his minions? Why is he pushing the blame on supes for the disaster brought by zod? I know the answer, he wasn't even in the dceu then!

The movie is not lame by my standards, it is just because you failed to understand the deeper context of the Martha moment. The moment Superman mentioned Martha's name, Batman froze because it reminded him of his Father's last word. That moment alone shows how traumatized Batman's past has been since the death of his mother. In today's world, Batman is a living PTSD zombie. If you follow the chronology of this movie very well, Batman is angry at anyone who claims he is a saviour partly because of the death of robin. In that scene, Lois came at the right time to explain how Lex had manipulated them all. At the end of the movie, Batman was able to see that he was the villain afterall because he failed to reason properly largely as a result of his pent-up anger and needed just the name "Martha" to come back to his senses. This is the way I understand the movie, it has a deeper psychology than you think!

But the "Martha moment" wasn't really needed here, Bruce is already older than his father could ever be, meaning that he's old enough to be someone's papa. That's a long time to hold on to a useless rage if you look at it again, if this was a batman in his 20s then it's understandable but a 40 or 50 year old Bruce? Come on. He's not the only one that lost his parents in childhood and he had wealth and a wonderful Butler that took care of him all his life, many kids get bounced around, from their relatives to social services then foster homes. This is something that is being dealt with in Gotham(the TV show), with all his tech, he should have easily found out the guy that killed his parents and ended that chapter long ago and not holding on to it for long. I'm guessing superman mentioned Martha to stop Bruce from killing him but the reverse could have been the case if not because of Lois.
