CONTINSURE is on bid @ the mo. With the declared dividend (see previous posts), and based on today's price, approximately an 8% ROI pre tax can be attained if you time your exit right.

Aks: BREAKING: #UnityBank, the first listed lender on #Nigerian bourse to report HY1 2014 earnings - basic EPS of 18.49k vs 10.59k (HY1 2013). What effect will this on the stock?

Like someone else pointed out on SMN, CBN has in the period reported eliminated several fee paying sources of income for the banks (e.g reduction in COT % etc) so there should be a bit of caution with taking the "impressive" Unity Bank figures hook line and sinker. After all these are "unaudited" results.

Ess: I have been trying to connect to iTrade but na so so error. What is wrong? I used Chrome and firefox.

They had their live feed restored around 12.30pm and I managed to connect till the close of trading. I had to log out and log back in though.

Ess: Is Morgan iTrade having issues? I can't connect.

Looks like they have had an issue with the market feed all morning.

Been told by a member of their staff that they are working on it @ the moment and hope to have the NSE feed restored asap

mercylicious: @Passwelle, each time I make payment and want to trade wit it immediately, I follow up with a mail to info, copy morayo, vincento and ceo. While making the internet payment, I put my stock acnt no or my full name in d naratn.

Yem0350: I havent try the online transfer before. Did you intend ur name during the transfer process? Did u call them this morning about ur transfer? If yes, what did they say? Let me have ur reply. I may be of help to you.

@ Yem0350: Thanks, I will be grateful if you can help. I did the transfer from my account and included my name in the optional remark field.

So I funded my account with Morgan Capital via instant transfer during the weekend in anticipation of trading today.

Lo and behold, my account with them did not reflect the funds till the end of trading today (Monday), and still hasn't. Their online itrade platform also had issues today as previous posts have indicated.

All these posts "highlighting" the joys of their itrade platform may not be good for Morgan Capital as it is getting them new clients, but can they really handle the growth as yet?
