Religion / Re: Are There Lukewarm Christians In Heaven? by PastorAde: 11:55am On May 05
There will be no lukewarm Christians in heaven. Jesus told the Laodicean Church in Rev. 3:19, “As many as I love I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore and repent. Zealousness is the opposite of lukewarmness. So except they become zealous and repent they cannot make it to heaven.

Health / Re: If My Girlfriend Died During Abortion What Would Happen To Me? by PastorAde: 2:07pm On Mar 14, 2023
First of all, don’t agree to commit abortion. It is murder. The Bible says, “thou shall not kill”. The foetus is as human as a born child.
If she dies through abortion, you’ve committed murder likewise.
So my advice is :Do not agree to commit abortion. Rather, have the child.

Romance / Re: After Introduction, I’m Seeing Too Many Red Flags by PastorAde: 7:43am On Jun 24, 2021
Dear Mugnmuffin,
Your explanations are quite understandable.
1. Both of you were Catholics at the time you met and fell in love.
2. God graciously saved you during your NYSC.
3. At this stage particularly after introduction you’ve got to engage in serious intercession for your fiancé to be saved as well. Give it time. Don’t rush into the main marriage yet. Continue to invite him to church. You never can tell, one of these days he also will give his life to Christ.
4. Don’t tell him or your parents that you are calling off the marriage yet. Be patient. Consider that if he’s the one who get saved first, how would you feel if he jilts you after introduction.
5. I believe with prayers he too will be saved. Just be patient. If you don’t mind send me his names. I’ll be praying along with you for his salvation and you will testify by God’s grace.

Romance / Re: I’m Pregnant For My Cousin Again, After 2 Abortions by PastorAde: 4:49pm On Oct 11, 2013
Don't commit abortion, the third time. You never know the glorious destiny of the baby you are carrying. Both of you should go to God, ask for mercy and forgiveness. The Bible says: If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins, and He's always ready to forgive.
As for your parents, be bold to tell them the truth. They will not kill you.
Once again, do not commit abortion. It is tantamount to murder. God us gracious and merciful.

Religion / Only Innocent Blood Can Forgive Sin by PastorAde: 8:40am On May 30, 2013
ONLY INNOCENT BLOOD CAN FORGIVE SIN

You have eaten the fruit of lies. And when I passed by you, and saw you polluted in your own blood, I said unto you when you were in your blood, live: yea, I said unto you when you were in your blood, live (Hosea 10: 13b, Ezekiel 16:6) Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. The next day John sees Jesus coming to him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (John 1:29, Ephesians 1:7). Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4: 12).
Adam and Eve lived innocently in the Garden of Eden fulfilling their purpose on earth: reigning and ruling over the earth in the image of God. But their dominion over the earth was short-lived and terminated by satan the deceiver. He lied to them and successfully deceived them into eating the forbidden fruit. They ate satan’s fruit of lies, and their hitherto innocent and sinless blood was polluted with sin. That is the meaning of the first two Scriptures above. Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned (Romans 5: 12). All humanity inherited the sinful nature from Adam.
To save the world from the effect of Adam’s sin, God looked into heaven and saw no man fit. He looked on earth, everybody was polluted with sin. God looked under the earth, no man was worthy. God then decided to become man in order to save the world. He overshadowed the womb of Virgin Mary and that holy thing called Jesus was born. Jesus is the sinless Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. Jesus was/is the only man that lived on this earth and never commits sin. Why? He was not born by the intercourse between Mary and Joseph. He was divinely born of God. His own blood was not polluted with sin. Therefore, He is qualified to be the Savior of the world. Only innocent blood, such as Jesus’, can forgive sin. That is why, God says in the third passage above, “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. The innocent blood of Jesus was shed for the forgiveness of the sin of the whole world – irrespective of our religion, race, tribe, color or gender. He is the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. When you obey God’s invitation to come to Him, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. But you must be willing and obedient to God’s invitation. This message is good news. That you can be saved and forgiven through Jesus’ innocent blood. Will you? If so pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Divine Government- Not Religion - Is The Solution To World's Problems by PastorAde: 11:55am On Nov 21, 2011
Divine Government - Not Religion - Is the Solution to the World’s Problems

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9: 6, emphasis added).

The number one desire in the heart of peoples of various countries of the world today is for a good government. The problems many countries are facing today are as a result of bad leadership. When people are dissatisfied with their leadership, they show their displeasure by voting out of power the underperforming leadership. If the new leadership performs well, people are happy – when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, people mourn (Proverbs 29:2).

Where the world is today, somebody led us. The first ever leader on earth was Adam supported by Eve. They both served under the first kingdom that ever existed –the kingdom of heaven. God extended His heavenly kingdom by creating earth and He made man in His image to rule, reign, dominate and manage the earth. Adam and Eve performed creditably well until satan (a rebel angel who had attempted to overthrow the heavenly government and kicked out of heaven) came into the Garden of Eden and deceived Eve to eat the forbidden fruit God commanded Adam not to eat. Adam listened to the wife rather than God. His sin of disobedience proved to be an act of treason against the heavenly government he represented. Adam lost his dominion, power, and authority to satan who became the god of this world (See 2 Cor.4:4). Satan’s sole ministry on earth is to steal, to kill, and to destroy. This explains the reason for the problems in the world today.

But the good news is that satan is not in charge of this earth, God is! For the earth is the Lord’s and all it contains, the world and they that dwell in it (Psalm 24:1).

From the foregoing, we understand that Adam did not lose a religion. What Adam lost was the kingdom or government of heaven. Had Adam obeyed God, this earth would have been a paradise. This was God’s intention and purpose – to extend His kingdom, dominion and paradise to the earth. That plan and purpose has not changed.

For God’s purpose to be fulfilled, He had to become man. He had to become man for two reasons. 1. To defeat the devil and collect back the dominion he stole from Adam. 2. To restore back to man the kingdom or the heavenly government he lost. The Scriptures quoted above aptly describe what God accomplished for humanity. Child Jesus was born through the womb of Virgin Mary. He was given to be the Savior of the world. He brought the government of heaven on His shoulders. He bears four compound names in the above Scriptures; the last of which is “The Prince of Peace”. Notice, Jesus did not bring a religion but a Kingdom. His first public statement was: Repent (have a change in your thinking), for the kingdom of heaven has arrived (Matthew 4:17). Adam declared independence from the heavenly government and therefore, peace eluded the earth. Jesus brought back the kingdom and as many as receive Him will have the peace of God in their hearts; for He is the Prince of Peace. Religion will not guarantee peace on earth. Only faith in the Prince of Peace (Jesus Christ) will guarantee peace. United Nations will not guarantee peace on earth. Nations are agitating for good leadership. Look what is happening in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya. It will spread to other nations. People are tired of bad leadership. Only a government from above in the hearts of men will make this earth a paradise. That was what Adam lost. That was what the Second Adam, Jesus Christ came to restore to earth. Will you receive the heavenly kingdom and the King in your heart? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / The Key To Success In Life by PastorAde: 2:31pm On Nov 15, 2011
The Key to Success in Life

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate in it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8, emphasis added).

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by the streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither, whatever he does prospers (Psalm 1)

To succeed in life is very cheap. This statement will be a surprise to many. Success means an achievement or accomplishment, a triumph or victory in a particular endeavor. For us to better appreciate the meaning of success, we have to define the opposite, which is failure. Failure is breakdown, collapse, catastrophe or crash in a particular endeavor.

In this life, we are all in a race, and it’s either we fail or succeed in life. And the only Person that can truly judge whether we succeed of fail is God Who sent us to earth. Adam was the first person God created and sent. God put him in the Garden of Eden and commanded him what to eat and what he should abstain from. Satan came into the garden and deceived Eve who gave Adam the forbidden fruit which he ate in disobedience to God’s commandment. Due to the sin of disobedience to God’s commandment Adam failed in his assignment to have dominion over all the earth and lesser creatures. The effect of Adam’s disobedience is death, sickness; sorrow, poverty, and all hardship people experience in the world today, But God has provided a solution to all of that.

The solution God provided was for Him to become a man. He overshadowed the Virgin Mary by His Holy Spirit and that Holy Thing, Jesus, was born. He was tempted just like the first Adam, but because He chose to obey God, He succeeded. Jesus obeyed God in every thing. He became obedient unto death even the death of the cross of Calvary. He died and shed His blood to take away our sins. Therefore, God highly exalted Him and gave a name above every other name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
When Joshua was to begin the task of leading the children of Israel to the promise land, God gave him a key to succeed in life. Please read again the first passage above. God told Joshua that the Word (Law) of God should not depart from his mouth. He should meditate on it as to be able to do every thing written in it. Only then will Joshua be prosperous and succeed. The second passage above says the same thing.

Do you want to be prosperous and successful in life? The key to success in life is submission and obedient to laws. Whose laws? God’s laws. Adam was disobedient to God’s laws and he failed. Jesus was obedient and he succeeded. Ditto Joshua. What about you? If you want to succeed in life, you must be obedient to the gospel of the kingdom of God. Will you? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus. Come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / Re: Is Suicide A Sin? by PastorAde: 1:35pm On Aug 19, 2011
Yes, suicide is a sin. The Bible commands: "Thou shall not kill" (see Exodus 20:13). This command does not refer only to someone else but also to you. To commit suicide is to disobey the above commandment of God. God gave you your life. To take your life is to take God's life in you. Judas did it and went to hell (see Acts 1:25). For further reference see my post on nairaland titled: "SAY NO TO SUICIDE"
Religion / Holiness Is Required by PastorAde: 11:20am On Aug 18, 2011
HOLINESS IS REQUIRED

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12: 14, emphasis added).
But as He which has called you is holy, so be you holy in all manner of conversation (behavior); Because it is written, Be you holy; for I am holy (1 Peter 1:15-16, emphasis mine).

One of the natures of God is His holiness. Holiness is defined as a state of being pure, and without sin or iniquity. It is a state of sanctity and righteousness. If God is a holy God, then we His creatures made in His image are expected to be holy. This was the state of Adam and Eve before they sinned against God and became unholy. Their unholiness robbed off on all humanity; hence all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. For humanity to approach a holy God, we have to become holy. But how do we become holy? Very simple! To be holy we have to be washed and cleansed in the blood of Him who alone is the sinless Lamb of God – Jesus Christ! Though He was tempted like every other man, but He knew no sin. That’s why He is qualified to be the Savior of the world. No sinner can save another sinner. No man born of Adam can save another man. It took the Second Adam, Jesus Christ, the Lord from heaven, to come to the earth via the womb of Virgin Mary to die on the cross of Calvary to be the Savior of the world. When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he exclaimed: “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world” (John 1: 29b).

The first Scriptures above tell us that without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. How true! What this means is that holiness is a requirement to seeing the Lord or entering heaven. Be not deceived, for you to enter heaven you must be holy; and you can only become holy and righteous by being washed in the blood of Jesus!

We are told in the second passage to be holy in all manner of our conversation or behavior. This is not a suggestion. It is a commandment. You need the grace of God to be able to keep His commandment. That grace you need has been made available by God. We are told in the following Scriptures: “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth’’ (John 1: 17, 14). We are told in these passages that Jesus is full of grace and truth. So, for you to be holy and enter heaven, you need to receive the grace of Jesus Christ and be washed in His blood.

Will you be saved? Will you be washed? Will you be made holy in order to enter heaven? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / There Is Forgiveness With God by PastorAde: 11:23am On Aug 12, 2011
THERE IS FORGIVENESS WITH GOD

If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared (Psalm 130: 3-4).

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases (Psalm 103: 2-3).

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matthew 6:12, 14-15).

One of the greatest attributes of God is His mercy and ability to forgive. God is full of compassion and ready to forgive His creatures as long as we go to Him in genuine repentance and turn away from our sins.

If God were to begin to mark or point out our sins, who could stand? The answer is: none! Why? Because we were all born in sins and trespasses. We inherited the sinful nature from our first father, Adam. But the good news is that God sent Jesus Christ to be the propitiation for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2: 2). If not for God’s ability to forgive, no one will be left on the face of the earth; we all would have died on gone to hell. For this cause, we all have to bless the Lord with every thing we have in us and not forget His benefits. One of His benefits is that: He forgives all our iniquities. Second, He heals all our diseases. These are the just two of the benefits of the cross of Christ where He shed His blood to save and redeem us from eternal damnation. Through the blood of Jesus, our sins are forgiven and washed away. Through His body that was broken and mutilated with many whip lashes, we are healed. Isn’t God merciful and full of compassion? The answer is a capital YES.

Since God is able to forgive us our numerous sins, we too ought to forgive those who offend us. If we refuse to forgive those who offend us, we are being mean and wicked. If God, through His mercy and forgiveness keeps us alive, we ought to, without hesitation, forgive those who sin against us.
In the kingdom of God, there is a law called the law of forgiveness. This law stipulates that: just as God has forgiven us, we ought to forgive our fellow human beings. As for God, He is always faithful to keep His own part of the law – to forgive us our sins. We too must keep our own part – to forgive those who offend us. When we do this we become keepers of His commandment with the reward of being forgiven always by God. But when we break this law by refusing to forgive, God will not forgive our sins. Thus we remain sinners and sinners cannot enter heaven.

Check your life today. If you are living in sin there is only one antidote for sin – the Lord Jesus Christ Who shed His blood for us all. Confess your sins to God and invite Jesus into your heart to be your Lord and Savior. He will wash away your sins and make you a new creature, whiter than snow. And just as you have been forgiven and given the grace of Jesus Christ, go ahead to forgive all those who have hurt, abused, malign, and offended you. Having done that, you have fulfilled the law of forgiveness. Will you be forgiven? Pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins, I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Every Problem Has A Solution by PastorAde: 12:06pm On Aug 10, 2011
EVERY PROBLEM HAS A SOLUTION

Man that is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble (Job 14: 1).

No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; He’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; He’ll always be there to help you come through it (1 Corinthians 10:13; emphasis added).

He shall deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven there shall no evil touch you (Job 5:19).

These things have I spoken to you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

This world is full of troubles and problems. No man or woman is exempt or immune from problems. As a matter of fact we were all born into this world of trouble (Job 14: 1). Jesus also reiterated the same truth in the last passage above. He said: “In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
The problem or trouble you are going through now is just a part of the bigger ones the whole world is going through. This world is a testing ground for all of us: but if you put your trust in God, you will overcome. What you are going through now is a test or temptation. Others before you have faced more or less the same temptation. Others after you will face the same temptation. Know assuredly that God is bigger than whatever problem you face. Only remember that God will not let you down. Do not give up. Do not throw in the towel. Do not quit. Do not take pills. Do not commit suicide. Do not hang yourself. Do not shoot yourself. Every single problem has a solution, and it must be within your grasp or God would not have allowed you to be tested in the first place. Your crisis may be big, but God is much bigger. What, then, is your problem? Is it sin, sickness, poverty, unemployment, barrenness, fear, insecurity, etc?

Let’s take for example, the problem of sin in the world today. Satan is the originator of sin. Sin began in heaven with satan. He was filled with pride and he wanted to overthrow God. He was consequently kicked out of heaven into the earth. He then went into the Garden of Eden to introduce sin by tempting Eve and Adam. But long before these events Jesus the Lamb of God had been slain from the foundation of the world to take away our sins. So God already provided the solution to the sin problem before satan originated it. So God is much wiser and smarter than satan. In the same vein, God already have an answer to your problem before it started! What, then, is God’s solution to your problem?
Consider the last part of the Scriptures above. Jesus said: “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. Jesus says to you to be of good cheer, for He has overcome sin, satan, sickness, death, poverty, unemployment, barrenness, fear, insecurity, etc. Who else in this world, born of woman, can make that assertion? None! Why? Because all of us are born of woman by the intercourse with man. But not Jesus. He had a divine birth. The Holy Spirit overshadowed the womb of Virgin Mary and that Holy thing named Jesus was born. He was tempted in every way like us, but He knew no sin. Satan found no sin in Him (see John 14:30). Jesus has a solution to your problem. That’s why He is called the Wonderful, The Counselor and the Mighty God. He is the Way out of your problem. Do you want a solution to your problem? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Religion / Only God Is Dependable by PastorAde: 9:11am On Aug 02, 2011
ONLY GOD IS DEPENDABLE

He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He (Deuteronomy 32:4).

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed (fortunate) is the man that trusts in Him Psalm 34:8, emphasis added).

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save LORD: let the King hear us when we call (Psalm 20:7-9).

Cease you from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of (Isaiah 2:22, emphasis added).

In the first passage above, God is described as the Rock personified. A rock is a big, hard, massive, strong and solidified material of the earth’s crust, exposed on the surface. You must have heard about the rock of Gibraltar. Yes! God is Big, Strong, Massive, and Reliable. He can be depended upon. When all else, and indeed all else will fail you, God can never, never fail you. You’ve got to taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed and fortunate are those who put their trust in the Rock of All Ages.

Man is God’s creation. So how can something created be greater and stronger than the Creator? The spirit of man came from God. The body of man was formed out of the dust of the ground by the All-wise Creator (God). So God alone is All-wise and All-powerful. He is strong in power and in might, He is altogether wonderful and excellent and He is the Most High God. So it will be unwise and naïve to put your trust in a mortal man instead of putting your trust in the immortal God.

Some, in their ignorance, put their trust in chariots, and some, in their naivety, put their trust in horses: but those who know their God remember the name of the LORD their God. The former are brought down and fallen; but the latter are risen, and stand upright.
Only the LORD God can save you. He is the KING of all the earth. When you call upon Him in trouble, He will hear you and you shall glorify Him.
The purpose of this message is for you to stop and cease putting your trust or relying on a mortal man whose breath is in His nostrils (Isaiah 22:2). It is God that put that breath in the man’s nostrils in the first place. So who will you rely on? On God or that man?

There is a song that goes thus: “On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand: all other ground is sinking sand” How true! Jesus Christ is the Rock (1 Corinthians 10:4b). He is dependable. He died and rose from the dead. He is alive forevermore. All other ground is sinking sand. Dear reader, on which ground are you standing? Who are you depending upon? Is it on Christ the solid Rock or are you standing on other ground? There is only one Rock and that dependable Rock is Christ! Will you put your trust in Him? Standing on the Rock means going up heavenward. Standing on other ground means you are sinking downward to hell. What is your choice? Choose the Rock today. Will you? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / The Miracle Of Sleeping And Waking Up by PastorAde: 9:17am On Jul 18, 2011
THE MIRACLE OF SLEEPING AND WAKING UP

I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me (Psalm 3:5, emphasis added).

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8, emphasis added).

God is a God of miracles. A miracle is an event that appears to be extraordinary and supernatural. It is an event that only God can perform. No man has the ability to perform a miracle except inspired by the Spirit of God.

There are lots of miracles in nature such as the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening to produce day and night respectively. The complex make up of man and woman anatomy is also a miracle of God. The divine birth of Jesus was also a miracle in that He was born – not by the intercourse between Mary and Joseph – but by the Holy Spirit overshadowing the womb of the Virgin Mary. Rainfall from heaven is also a miracle, seed time and harvest is also a miracle. The miraculous works of God abound everywhere that if they are to be written in books, this whole world will not contain them.
Have you ever considered that to sleep is a miracle, and to wake up is a miracle? When you lie on your bed to sleep, you don’t actually know when you fall asleep. When you sleep, you are as good as dead. That is why the word sleep in the bible is sometimes used to describe someone who is dead.

When you sleep, you have no clue what is happening. According to the first Scriptures above, it is the LORD that sustains you. The word LORD means owner. God created and owns you; and because He owns you, He sustains you. The second Scriptures affirm that it is the LORD (OWNER) that makes you dwell in safety. To wake up too, is a miracle. It is the LORD that causes you to wake up. When you wake up, your eyes just open. We all take this phenomenon of sleeping and waking up for granted thinking it is a natural occurrence. But in actual fact, it is one of the numerous miracles of God. That is why it’s so important to pray before sleeping and give thanks to God when you wake up. Many have died in their sleep and gone to eternity like that.

What happens when a sinner die in his (or her) sleep? That fellow goes straight to hell. That is why it’s wise and good to seek the Lord while He may be found; and to call upon Him while He is near. When may the Lord be found; and when is He near? As long as you are still alive enjoying His breath in you, God may still be found and He is near. What makes Him near to you? His breath in you! As long as you are still alive, surrender and give your life to Jesus because He is the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father (God) but by Him (John 14:6). Will you surrender your life while you are still alive? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Your Problem Is Temporary by PastorAde: 9:20am On Jul 15, 2011
YOUR PROBLEM IS TEMPORARY

For our light affliction (troubles), which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the seen which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18, emphasis added).

This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace to it (Zechariah 4: 6-7).

To every thing there is a season, and time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time of war, and a time of peace (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4a, 8b, emphasis added).

According to the last Scriptures above, every thing and every purpose in this world have their season and time. No event in this world lasts for ever. For example, there is a time to be born, and a time to die. There is planting time and harvesting time. There is a time of war and a time of peace. There is a time to weep and there is a time to laugh. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5b).

Whatever affliction or trouble you are going through now is temporary. It has an expiry date. It’s only for a moment. It will not last forever. We are told in the first Scriptures above that we should not look at the things that can be seen – for they are temporary. How true! Consider, for example, a child born today. As the days pass, he will continue to grow as he’s been fed. Before you know it the baby is a year old. As the years pass, he grows from a baby to a toddler, to an adolescent or youth, to an adult, to an aged person, and to the grave. If you by a new car today, in few years time it will become old according to usage. Eventually, you may have to sell it to buy a new one. In the same vein, the bad situation you are facing now is only temporary; it is not permanent. Only spiritual things – i.e. the things that are not seen - are permanent and eternal. For example, God cannot be seen, yet He is so real. Your human spirit cannot be seen, yet it is more real than your physical body. Why? Because at death, your body is buried in the grave and your spirit (your real self) goes either to heaven or hell eternally. Whatever problem or mountain before you now can only become a plain (or be leveled) by the Spirit of God and by the grace of God. How will this be? In your problem, you must not keep your mouth shut. You must cry to God. You must pray with passion to God. Those who learn to call upon God in their trouble will be heard and not be put to shame. For example, a woman called Hannah in the Bible was barren for many years. But a day came when she decided to cry to God. God heard her and gave her a boy named Samuel.
Your case is not different. Call upon God in the time of your trouble and He will hear you and you will change level from a time of weeping to a time of laughter. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. Will you be saved? Will you be free from trouble? Will you transit into a time of laughter? If yes, pray this prayer aloud? Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name, Amen

Religion / Every Problem Has A Solution by PastorAde: 8:28am On Jul 10, 2011

Amen.

Religion / As It Was In The Days Of Noah by PastorAde: 11:28am On Jul 07, 2011
AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH

And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all (Luke 17: 26-27).

The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9; emphasis added).

According to the second Scriptures above, there is no new thing under the sun. Are there so much wickedness, violence, injustice, iniquity, and unrighteousness in world the today? Yes, there are. But all these evil things are not new under the sun (meaning in this world). Are there also goodness, peace, justice, equity, and righteousness in the world today? Yes, there are. But all these good things are not also new under the sun. There have been good men on earth and there have been wicked men on earth as it is today. In the days of Noah, the wickedness of man was so great in the earth and the imagination of men’s earth was evil continually. For this cause God was so grieved at His heart. At that time only one man was righteous in God’s sight and that man was Noah. Noah, because of His righteousness, found grace in God’s eyes (Genesis 6). God then spoke to Noah about the wickedness and corruption in the earth and about His intention to destroy the earth and its inhabitants by a flood. God told Noah to build ark to preserve from the flood those who fear and believe God when Noah begins to preach. Noah preached righteousness for 120 years but all humanity at that time turned deaf ears to the word of God. At the end of 120 years, God sent a flood to destroy the then world. Only Noah and his wife, his three children and their wives – 8 souls were saved from the flood along with male and female of clean and unclean beasts, fowls and creeping things (Gen 7: cool.
Now consider the patience of God. God waited for 120 years for people to repent and believe His word. At the end of 120 years, only 8 souls were saved! Since there is no new thing under the sun, God, in this our day, has been waiting for all humanity for over 2000 years to believe the gospel (good news) of the kingdom of God before He destroys this world with fire (2 Peter 3:7). Understand that God is a Holy God. He hates sin with passion. But He loves His creation. “God so much loves the world that He gave His only begotten Son as a sacrificial Lamb for our sins. Those who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved” (John 3:16-17; Acts 4:12).The good news is that Jesus came to this world. He died to take away our sins. He was buried and on the third day He rose triumphantly having conquered satan, sin, death, and the grave. His triumph is your triumph. His victory is your victory. And He did this for all humanity – irrespective of men’s religion, race, color or gender.
Jesus warned in the first passage above: “As it was in days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man (Jesus)” In the days of Noah there were a lot of marriages as we have today. There was a lot of eating and drinking then and now. Men did all of that but turned deaf ears to the word of God, until the flood came and destroyed them all. The same thing is happening today. For over 2000 years the gospel has been preached. We are now in the years 2011. Over the years many have died without believing the gospel and have gone to hell. However, many have believed the gospel and died and are now in heaven. What about you? Will you be saved and safe from the impending judgment? If yes pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / God Owns Everything And He Gave You A Will by PastorAde: 9:03am On Jun 07, 2011
GOD OWNS EVERYTHING AND HE GAVE YOU A WILL

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (all it contains); the world and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24: 1, emphasis added).

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if You be willing, remove this cup from Me, nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done (Luke 22: 41-42, emphasis added).

Everything in this world belongs to God. He owns everything. As a matter of fact, the word “Lord” in the first passage above means OWNER. So we can rephrase Psalm 24:1 thus: “The earth is the Owner’s and all it contains; the world and they that dwell in it”, emphasis added. Come to think of it. God owns everything in this world. Nothing belongs to the devil. The devil himself was created by God. His original name was Lucifer. He is a fallen angel. And God created all angels. As human beings also, we don’t own anything. We are just stewards of God’s possessions on earth. Look at your entire body. Did you create anything thereof? No. God created the human body and put His own breath in our nostrils. So your breath and entire body is God’s property. You are just the manager. What about earth resources? All belong to God! The above passage says it all. What about your children and wealth? They all belong to God! When a wealthy man dies, does he take his wealth with him to the grave? No, he takes nothing. He leaves all behind for other generations.

God created the first Adam and gave him dominion over all the earth and its resources. But God also gave him his own free will. Adam was a free moral agent – so are we his off springs. God commanded him saying: “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die” (Gen. 2:16-17, emphasis added).
Adam, being a free moral agent, however disobeyed the above commandment and ate of the forbidden fruit through the deception of satan. He therefore fell and was driven out of the Garden of Eden. Like Adam, you and I also have a free will in this world. We are the ones that will determine whether we obey God or not. Our obedience to God and His words or His gospel of the Kingdom of heaven will determine our eternity. Since we really don’t own anything but have a will, we should align our wills with God’s own good will. The second Adam – Jesus Christ – as He was about to die for you and me, yielded His own will to God’s and prayed to God: “nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done”. He was faced with the agony of laying down His life for us all – irrespective of race, color, gender or religion. He did not shrink back. He gave up His own will for God’s. He died and shed His blood for us all to take away our sins. The Lamb of God took away the sins of the whole world once and for all; so that as many as believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. No other animal sacrifice is needed to take away our sins. Jesus was the sacrificial Lamb on the cross for us all. Will you be saved? Will you be redeemed? Will you surrender your will To God? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / God Owns Your Breath by PastorAde: 7:33am On Jun 03, 2011
God Owns Your Breath

For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:20, emphasis added).

When God formed Adam from the dust of the earth, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). The very breath of God is what makes a man to be alive. God therefore owns not only your body but your very source of life – your breath. The Scriptures above say it all.

Not only does God own your breath, He also owns the entire earth and its inhabitants. For “the earth is the Lord’s (Lord means owner) and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1, emphasis added). He is the land Lord of the whole earth. He has the title deed of the whole earth.

God created heaven and earth. He rules over the entire universe. Heaven is His throne and the earth is His foot stool (Isaiah 66:1). Just as His throne is in heaven, He made Adam and put him in charge of the earth. Adam alone was not given the responsibility of ruling the earth, but all his off springs as well. Consider the following Scripture to confirm this statement: “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth has He given to the children of men” (Psalm115:16).

Adam ruled over the earth for some time until he committed treason by surrendering his ruler ship over the earth to satan who deceived Eve and Adam into eating the forbidden fruit God had earlier commanded Adam not to eat. Due to Adam’s disobedience, he was driven out of the Garden of Eden. Satan then, rather than Adam, became the god of this world. His mission on earth, being the enemy of mankind, is to kill, and to steal, and to destroy (John 10: 10a).

Satan thought he had disrupted and destroyed God’s plan for man to rule and manage the earth. But God Who is wiser and all knowing had a master plan. The Omniscient God, who had a foreknowledge of all things, had allowed the Lamb of God – Jesus Christ – to be slain from before the foundation of the world. His blood had been shed to redeem or buy back the earth and its inhabitants. This event was later fulfilled on the cross of Calvary, where Jesus died to take away the sins of the whole world. This is the meaning of the above Scripture: “For you are bought with a price” What price? The blood of Jesus! The blood of Jesus was the price paid to redeem your body and your spirit. You need not go to hell and suffer eternally. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved and your whole house (Acts 16:31). Your body and your spirit do not belong to you. They belong to God the Maker thereof. Why withhold your life from the Owner of it? Surrender your life to God today and it shall be well with you from now and eternally. Will you? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus” Name, Amen.

Religion / Be A Good Samaritan by PastorAde: 10:07am On May 30, 2011
Be a Good Samaritan

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted Him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit life? …And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment (clothing), and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him; he had compassion (pity) on him, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. Which now of this three, think you, was neighbor to him that fell among thieves? And he said, he that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do you likewise (Luke 10:25, 30-34, 36-37, emphasis added).

In the above passage, a certain lawyer asked Jesus what he must do to inherit life. Jesus told him he has to love God with all his heart, soul, strength, and mind and his neighbor as himself. Then the lawyer asked: “who is my neighbor?” Jesus then gave the parable of the Good Samaritan. To understand this parable, we must ask ourselves the following questions: Who is the man that fell among the thieves? Who are the thieves? Who are the priest and Levite that ignored the half dead man? What does it mean to be half dead? Who is the Good Samaritan? What is the inn the man was taken to? What are we to do?
Understand that this is a parable. A parable is a story given to teach us some important lessons in life. The man that fell among thieves is the first Adam. He fell from grace to grass due to his disobedience against God. We all inherited the fallen, sinful nature from Adam. Satan and his demons are the thieves. He and his demons came to steal and to kill and to destroy God’s creation. That was what he accomplished when he went into the Garden of Eden to deceive Eve who ate the forbidden fruit and gave Adam of the same. The priest and Levite that ignored the half dead man and had no solution to his problem represent religion and religious men. Don’t be deceived, religion cannot save you. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus means SAVIOR. He came for that purpose – to save humanity from the fall and restore them to God. If the half dead man is us, what does this mean? To be half dead is to be alive in this world and be dead to God. A sinner is physically alive but dead to God, dead to things of God, and dead to righteousness. This is how we were born – for in sin were we conceived by our parents (see Psalm 51:5). We are all helpless as sinners and our only Savior and Deliverer is the Good Samaritan. He alone out of the three men in the above parable showed pity and compassion. He went to the half dead man, bounds up his wounds pouring in oil and wine and took him to an inn (hospital). Now, who is the Good Samaritan? He is none other but Jesus! He alone has the answer. He alone has the cure for our sins and sickness. He came to seek and to save that which is lost. Religion is not the answer. Jesus is the answer. He poured in oil and wine. You cannot give what you don’t have. The oil is the Holy Spirit and the wine is the blood of Jesus. These two is all you need to be made whole physically, spiritually and emotionally in life.
The inn the revived man was taken to is a good church where only the truth is preached. The Good Samaritan (Jesus) finally told the lawyer: “Go and do you likewise” Having given your life to Jesus, you must go and tell others about the saving grace of Jesus. You must tell the good news of the kingdom of God.
Are you ready to accept the Good Samaritan? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen

These six things does the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speak lies, and he that sows discord among brethren (Proverbs 6:16-19; emphasis added).

God is a God of love. In fact, He is love, personified (1 John 4:cool. The love of God is so high, and so deep, and so wide, and so long that He gave His only begotten Son – Jesus Christ – to die for our sins, so that as many as believe in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. As much as God loves His creation, there are certain attitudes He hates and abhors in our lives. These attitudes are contrary to His nature and character. The seven things God hates are highlighted in the passage above and discussed below.

The first on the list of the seven things God hates is “a proud look”. A proud person is one who is arrogant, pompous, self-important, self-righteous, bigheaded and egotistical. Satan is the father of such a person. Why? Because the Bible says so (see Job 41:34; Ezekiel 28:17). And God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6b). Satan was cast out of heaven because of his pride against God. Any proud person can never find favor with God. Such a person can never enter heaven (remember satan).

The second on the list is a lying tongue. God is a God of truth. Jesus is Truth personified (John 14:6). Satan is also the father of liars because he was a liar from the beginning (John 8:44). God hates lies. Liars cannot enter heaven; hell is their destination (Rev 21:cool. The third on the list is “hands that shed innocent blood”. Those who kill or shed innocent blood are directly disobeying God’s commandment which says: “You shall not kill” (Exodus 20:13). God hates this sin. Satan is also the father of murderers (see John 8:44). Shedding of innocent blood includes abortion and all kinds of murders. You should desist from it for the destination of such is hell. Fourth on the list is “a heart that devises wicked imagination”. Anybody that does this is particularly dangerous. Why? Because you cannot predict what that person is capable of doing. A person like this can carry out any kind of sin. He can kill, maim, steal, rape or backbite. God hates this sin. The fifth on the list is “feet that be swift to run to mischief”. This is a gossiper. This person is also dangerous, and can harm, hurt or damage the victim’s character. God hates this attitude.

The sixth on the list is “a false witness that speak lies”. Anybody that does this is breaking God’s ninth commandment (see Exodus 20: 16). God hates this sin. This is a double sin. This fellow is not only a false witness, but also a liar. Satan is his father and he will end up in hell. The seventh on the list is “he that sows discord among brethren”. This person is not a peacemaker. He is therefore not a child of God (see Matthew 5:9). Instead of making peace, this person sows discord between husband and wife, family members, workers in an organization, church members, friends and lovers. Discord, when sown, has broken marriages and destroyed family and friends. God hates this sin.

Now check your life in sincerity. Are any of these sins found in you? If yes, what can wash away yours sins? Nothing, but the blood of Jesus. Do you want to be saved and please God? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Three Vital Things You Need In Life by PastorAde: 10:07am On May 16, 2011
Three Vital Things You Need In Life

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13: 14, emphasis added).

For you to live well and be comfortable in this world, some basic things are needed. You need housing, food and clothing. In a well developed economy, transportation is also needed to move from one place to the other. If you have a good well-paying job, your standard of living will be higher than others in the society. You can afford to cater for your family and send your children to good schools. However, in our society a large section of the populace are poor and cannot afford the luxuries of life.

Either you are rich or poor; there are three vital things everyone needs. A vital thing is something very important, fundamental, necessary, essential, of the essence, and crucial without which life is futility and emptiness. These three vital things are stated in the Scriptures above. They are the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit which the writer, Apostle Paul prayed should be with the Corinthians. This is one of the greatest prayer and wish you could give to anybody. Notice, in the above Scripture, the Trinity – Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit – are involved. Grace is peculiar to Jesus Christ – for He is full of grace and truth (John 1:14b). God is love, personified (1 John 4:cool. The Holy Spirit wants to unite with you in close association. This association or close relationship with the Holy Spirit is what Adam the first man lost due to his sin of disobedience against God. Hence, he was driven out of God’s presence in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:24).

There is a phrase commonly used by almost all men when they want to achieve an aim. The phrase is: “by the grace of God, I will do this and that”. Take the grace of God out of a man’s life what you are left with is disgrace, disfavor, ugliness, and awkwardness. The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. If you receive the grace of God by surrendering your life to Christ, you will obtain favor, mercy, clemency and kindness from God. God is love. God demonstrated His love toward all men by giving Jesus, His only begotten Son as a sacrificial Lamb on the cross of Calvary to redeem us and take away our sins. Those who believe in Jesus will not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Take away God’s love from the world, and all of us will be dead and go to hell. If God were to mark our sins, who shall be able to stand? But there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared.

Communion, which is relationship or close association with the Holy Spirit, is also crucial. Adam lost this communion and became ordinary and susceptible to sickness, sorrow and sin. For you to have back the Holy Spirit, you must be cleansed from your sin by the blood of Jesus. The Holy Spirit will not dwell in an unclean body. Receive Jesus today and be cleansed by His blood to receive God the Holy Spirit in your life. When you have the grace, love, and communion of the Trinity, you have everything. Will you? Pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Religion / Say No To Suicide by PastorAde: 9:47am On Apr 28, 2011
SAY NO TO SUICIDE
MEMORIZE: “Thou shall not kill” (Exo. 20:13)
READ: Acts 1: 16-20

Although there is an appointment with death, it can be fast-forwarded by touching God’s anointed. This season, all agents of darkness plotting your death and downfall, shall go earlier to their appointment with death, long before its time in Jesus name.
Apart from touching God’s anointed, some people deliberately fast-forward their appointment with death by eating, or drinking, or doing what could terminate their lives. This is suicide. It can either be immediate or come slowly. Such people are following the foot step of their mentor - Judas Iscariot. Act 1; 18 says of him, “Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out”. Judas was so disappointed with himself after he sold his innocent Master that he allowed the spirits of suicide to take control of him. All he had was remorse – just bitter feelings and regret but not godly sorrow which leads to repentance and forgiveness (2 Cor. 7: 10). Are you under demonic pressure to take your life, jump off a moving vehicle, jump off a cliff or into the lagoon? You are surrounded by suicide spirits that want to fast-forward your appointment with death. In the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke every suicide spirit around you to loose their hold over your life now. You shall not die. Every plan to fast-forward your appointment with death is cancelled now.

However, anyone smoking cigarettes, cigar or taking alcohol is fast-forwarding his or her appointment with death. If you are taking mind-bending substances such as heroin, cocaine, marijuana etc, you are fast-forwarding your appointment with death. This is slow suicide. You have no right to stop a life you did not start. For this reason, eternal hell is the dwelling place for those who commit suicide. Do you know that the devil deceives some people by telling them that their suffering is second to none and they just end it all and rest? But the Bible says there is no such rest for the wicked. Instead of rest, they will find themselves in burning hell. This time, it is suffering forever. Say no to suicide. Stop taking anything that can kill you. Your life is so precious to God.

KEY POINT
Through unchecked self-medication, some people have fast-forwarded their appointment with death. Be careful!

Religion / How You Can Be Saved by PastorAde: 9:33am On Apr 27, 2011
How You Can Be Saved

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3: 23).

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6: 23, emphasis added).

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, emphasis added).

Yet to all who received Him (Jesus), to those who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God (John 1: 12, emphasis added).

Man did not evolve from a tree or an ancient dinosaur. Man was created by God in His own image. How did the question of sin arise? Where is eternal destination of sinners? Why is there need of salvation? Who is the Author of salvation? Where is the eternal destination of the righteous after death

Adam was the first man created by God. All humanity came from that one man. Adam was given a commandment by God of what trees to eat of and the one he was to abstain from eating in the Garden of Eden. God also told Adam the penalty of disobedience – which is death. One day when Adam went AWOL (absent without leave), the serpent (the devil) came into the Garden to deceive Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. She gave the same to Adam who ate in disobedience to God’s commandment. This was how sin entered the world; and since we all came from Adam, we inherited the sinful nature with the resultant penalty or wages – which is death. Sin makes man fall short of the glory of God.
To deliver man from the penalty of sin and death, God had to become man. He overshadowed the womb of Virgin Mary and Jesus was born. The name Jesus means Savior. He came purposely for the salvation of mankind. He lived a sinless life, went to the cross of Calvary to shed His sinless blood to redeem all humanity – irrespective of race, religion or gender. The life of flesh is in the blood. Jesus gave His life for all humanity so that we might be saved. As many as receive Him and confess Him as Lord and Savior shall be saved and have their sins forgiven and forgotten (Isaiah 43:25).
Through Adam all men were made sinners. Sin manifests in different forms – evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, blasphemy, pride, foolishness, etc. The eternal destination of sinners is hell. God did not create hell for man, but for the devil and his angels. That is why God sent Jesus to die for all men so that as many as believe in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. Salvation is found in no other man – for all are sinners. Only God in the flesh – Jesus the Lamb of God – is qualified to save all men. When you receive Him, His blood makes you righteous and your eternal destination is heaven.

This is the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven: That King Jesus came to earth to redeem humanity by His blood and bring heaven to the hearts of men by restoring to those who believe in Him, the Holy Spirit that Adam lost through disobedience. Once you have the Holy Spirit, you become a child of God and you are enabled to live righteously. Will you? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / The Good Thing About This Friday by PastorAde: 9:18am On Apr 22, 2011
The Good Thing about This Friday

Surely He (Jesus) has borne our griefs (sickness), and carried our sorrows (pains): yet we did esteem (consider) Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes (whip-lashes) we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53: 4-6, emphasis added).

Who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree (cross), that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes (lash-wounds) you were healed (1 Peter 2: 24, emphasis added).

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3: 13-14).

When Jesus therefore has received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost (John 19: 30).

Today is the day referred to worldwide as Good Friday. It marks the day Jesus died on the cross of Calvary, not for His own sin, because He committed none, but for the sins of the whole world. On that day, He carried the sins of the whole world, their griefs or sickness, their sorrows or pains, and nailed it on the cross. He became our substitute on the cross and was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities. For the sake our peace, He was chastised. He was whipped 39 times that we might be healed. On that day the curse of the whole world – sin, sickness, poverty, spiritual death – was nailed to cross because, according to Jewish law, cursed is every one that hangs on a tree. Because every curse has being nailed to the cross, all who believe in Jesus can now have the full blessing of Abraham.

On the cross also, Jesus destroyed death and him that has the power of death i.e. the devil. He (Jesus) spoiled satan and his demons and made a public show of them triumphing over them. By His blood, He redeemed humanity from sin, satan, sorrow, sickness, and obtained eternal salvation for us. All these happened on that fateful Friday. Before Jesus finally died on that Friday, He said, it is finished. What was finished? Death is finished, satan is finished, sin is finished, sickness is finished, curse is finished, and sorrow and everything satan afflicted the world with is finished! What good news! And that is the good thing about this Friday we are marking today. Jesus by His death on the cross shed His blood to reverse and destroy satan’s plan for humanity and He brought about salvation, redemption, peace, joy healing and every good thing for humanity. Will you be saved? Will you be healed? Will you experience God’s blessings? Do you accept the finished work of salvation? If so, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Savior and Lord. I accept the finished work of salvation. Thank you for this Good Friday in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Re: Only One Way To God by PastorAde: 11:08pm On Apr 14, 2011
Jesus Himself said to him (i.e.Thomas ), "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me" (John 14:6, emphasis added). It is not a coincidence that these words were spoken to a disciple called Thomas. Popularly, he is called a doubting Thomas. So to all the doubting Thomases, Jesus said with His own mouth, He's the way - the only way to God. Heaven and earth shall pass away, these words shall not pass away. That is why even time is named after Him - BC or AD. Who else in History has that honor? He is the one that lives, and was dead, behold, He is alive forevermore and He has the keys of hell and death (Rev. 1: 18). I rest my case. A word is enough for the wise!

The answer to your question is found in 1 Peter 3: 18-20.
Religion / Only One Way To God by PastorAde: 11:48am On Apr 14, 2011
Only One Way to God

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breadth of life; and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7).

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14: 6).
Salvation is found in no one else; for there is no other name given to men under heaven by which mankind must be saved (Acts 4:12).

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father (John 16: 28).

Man is a tripartite being i.e. man is made up three parts – body, soul, and spirit. The creation of these three parts by God is explained in the first passage above. God formed the body of man from the dust and breathed His own Spirit into man’s body and man became a living soul. That first man was named Adam, the son of God (Luke 3: 38).

In making the woman, God put Adam to sleep and took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her to the man. And Adam said, This is now the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man (Genesis 2:21-23).

Prior to the creation of the woman, God had given Adam a commandment of what trees of the garden he was supposed to eat and the one he was supposed to abstain from eating. But the serpent i.e. the devil intruded into the garden while Adam was not around to deceive the woman into eating the forbidden fruit. She ate of the fruit and gave to Adam who also ate in disobedience to God commandment. Thus, Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden of Eden due to Adam’s sin of disobedience (Genesis 3:24). It was in that state of sin that Cain and Abel – Adam’s children – were born. Thus, all the generations of Adam were born with the sinful nature in their blood. But God had a solution.

God, Who is all wise and all knowing would not be taken by surprise by the devil. He had provided a Lamb (Jesus) Who was slain from before the foundation of the world to take away the sin of the world (Revelation 5:6). At the fullness of time Jesus came into the world via the womb of a virgin named Mary. At the beginning of His ministry, John the Baptist saw Him and testified: Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29b).

There is only one way to be born into this world – through the womb of a woman. And there is only one way to return to God – through Jesus Christ. There is no other name given among men under heaven by which we must be saved. Jesus was the only man that lived without committing any sin. Why? Because He had a divine birth. He was tempted by the devil, but unlike Adam, He overcame. All of us were born as sinners inheriting the sinful nature from Adam; and if we die as sinners, we go to hell. God has already made a way for sinful man to go to heaven. That way is a person whose name is Jesus. Will you be saved and redeemed from sin? Will you go to heaven? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
