The Two Most Essential Things in Life

But seek you first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness: and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6: 33, emphasis added).

For us to live comfortably in this life, a lot of things are needed. Some of the basic things that make life comfortable for people are housing, food, clothing, good paying job, vehicles for movement, money, etc. All of these things are legitimate and necessary to live a comfortable life. But you must realize O man that you are a tripartite being. You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. Your body is not the real you. The body is just a clothing that clothes the real you – your spirit. Your soul consists of your mind, will, and intellect. God is the source of your spirit, for, He breathed His own breath into Adam’s nostrils, and he became a living soul (Gen. 2:7). When a man dies, his spirit returns to God who gave it, but the body returns to dust from where it was taken. The basic things of life only belong to this world and they all remain here after man’s death. Have you ever seen any man taking his earthly belongings with him to the grave? No, they all remain in the earth. That is why Jesus, Who is Wisdom personified, tells us in the above Scriptures to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto us. He was speaking to the real man – the spirit. For the real man, He reduced life to two most essential things: (1) the kingdom of God (2) His Righteousness. Why did Jesus reduce the whole of life to these two essentials? Because these two things are what Adam lost. The word ‘seek’ means desire, enquire, and search for something hidden. Adam lost the kingdom and his right standing with God when he disobeyed God’s commandment by eating the forbidden fruit. The word kingdom is from two words – king and dominion. Adam lost two things. First, his fellowship and righteousness (right standing) with God the King, and his dominion over the earth. These two are what Jesus tells us to seek first in our order of priorities. When we do this, all other basic things of life will be added to us. How? Jesus made this statement in Matthew 11:27a: “All things are delivered (committed) to Me by My Father”. When you obey the above Scriptures by seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these other things which the Father have committed to Jesus’ hands will be given to you as well. You don’t need to steal or use dubious means to get things or to make it in life. Obedience to the word of God is the key. Now, how can you find the kingdom and His righteousness? By giving your life to the king (Jesus) and being washed in His blood to obtain His righteousness. Our own righteousness is like filthy rags. When you receive the king in your heart and obtain His righteousness, then you will enter the kingdom of heaven. Will you? Pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Run To Safety by PastorAde: 9:55am On Mar 28, 2011
Run To Safety

The name of the Lord is a strong (fortified) tower: the righteous run into it, and are safe (Proverb 18: 10, emphasis added).

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10: 13).

While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape (1 Thessalonians 5: 3).

Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:36, emphasis added).

There is an increasing wave of violence in the world today. The newspapers and other media organizations churn out bad news everyday from all parts of the globe. News of rape, war, kidnapping, murders, riots, earthquake, tsunami, fire, flood, etc, abound every day. The recent tsunami in Japan claimed over 10,000 lives. Their food and water are reported to be contaminated from radiation due to their destroyed nuclear reactors. More than 10, 000 people have died since the Libya uprising. In Jos, Nigeria, several lives have been lost due to the religious crisis engulfing that once- serene city. As a matter of fact, God is shaking the nations of the earth. All these events have been prophesied long ago by the Lord Jesus Christ. These events will increase in intensity because they have been foretold and the world has been forewarned. What, then, must we do to escape all the forthcoming calamities? We must run to safety. We must run for cover.

There is no other place to run to, nay, there is no other safe haven but the name of the Lord. The name Jesus means ‘Savior’. He is only One sent to the earth with the sole purpose of saving humanity. No other man can accomplish that task. There is no other name given among men under heaven whereby we must be saved (Act 4:12). In the day of destruction, your money and wealth or technology know-how cannot save you. Japan is a clear example. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the day of the second coming of the Lord. They ate and drank, they married and were given in marriage until the flood came and destroyed the whole earth. Nothing is new under heaven. The same events that occurred in the days of Noah are prevalent today – eating and drinking, large scale marriages, merriment and enjoyment. But know of a surety that as the flood destroyed the world in the days of Noah, this present world will be destroyed by fire (2 Peter 3: 10-11). The last Scriptures above tell us what we must do to escape all the things that shall come to pass. We must watch and pray always. What are we to watch for? – We are to watch out for the second coming of the Lord. We must pray for God’s kingdom to come; for only His kingdom can bring peace and tranquility into this world. Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. The whole world needs peace desperately. He alone can give you peace. The United Nations cannot. No other man can give you peace. Jesus brought the kingdom of heaven to earth. But have you received that kingdom? Have you received the King in your heart? If not, don’t delay. Do not procrastinate for another minute; for today is the acceptable time, today is the day of salvation. Run to safety. Will you be safe and saved from the coming judgment, tribulation and catastrophe? Will you enter heaven? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / Three Things That Cause Problems In Life by PastorAde: 9:29am On Mar 23, 2011
Three Things That Cause Problems in Life

They know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, “You are gods”, you are all the sons of the Most High. But you will die like mere men, and fall like one of the princes (Ps. 82:5-7).

My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6a)

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

The first passage above expresses God’s lamentation about humanity, His greatest creation. These three components are the source of our suffering and problems in life. First, there is a lack of knowledge – “they know nothing”. Second, there is a misunderstanding or misconception of life – “they understand nothing”. And third, there is a lack of spiritual sight – “they walk about in darkness”. The word “darkness” in this context connotes ignorance – absence of knowledge. The “they” that are ignorant constitute 99% of the world population! But what are the things people are ignorant of? First, they are ignorant of the fact that they are gods who are meant to rule earth as God is ruling heaven. Second, they are ignorant of God Who made the statement. Third, they are ignorant of satan, man’s arch enemy, who has been defeated and has no power any more over man. This lack of knowledge is also the source of destruction in the world today.

Walking about in darkness is a very dangerous thing. If a man walks in darkness throughout his life time and dies in darkness he will end up in the kingdom of darkness headquartered in hell! But if a man walks in light, He will end up in heaven.
The problem you have in your life presently is as a result of ignorance or lack of knowledge in that aspect of your life. Once the light of knowledge shines upon that area, your solution will come to you. Knowledge is life. Knowledge is light.
What is the solution to the three things that cause problems in life? Just as the problems are caused by a lack of knowledge, understanding and walking in darkness, the solution to life’s problems is to acquire knowledge, understanding and light.

Whose knowledge, whose understanding and whose light are we to acquire for us to be free? We are to know and understand God, ourselves, heaven, earth, satan, hell, etc. We have to be enlightened in these areas. But what and who is light? Jesus is the light of the world. He that follows Him shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

The situation in the world today is that people seek to know and study the created things and neglect the Creator. In spite of all the scientific discoveries and innovations, God says, they know nothing, they understand nothing, and they walk on in darkness. Once you know God and the light (Jesus), you are capable of knowing all other things including yourself made in the image of God to rule over the earth (see Genesis 1:26).

There is only one Llight of the world. His name is Jesus Christ. Will you receive and confess Him as your Light and Lord and Savior? He will surely dispel your darkness and confusion. If want to be free from life’s suffering and problems, pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Light and Lord and Savior.

Religion / The Most Misunderstood Person On Earth by PastorAde: 10:59am On Mar 18, 2011
The Most Misunderstood Person on Earth

The most misunderstood Person on earth is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is misunderstood particularly by adherents of various religions of the world. For example, He is misunderstood by the Hindus because they think that He is just another one of their 6 million gods. He is misunderstood by the Buddhists because they think He is just a wise man. He is misunderstood by the Humanists who think He is just a highly developed human with a superior mental capacity. He is misunderstood by the Muslims because they think He is just another prophet who came in God’s plan and that’s why God has to send the final prophet to complete the job named Mohammed. He is misunderstood by the Atheists who think He is the creation of the imagination of 12 misguided men 2000 years ago. Most of all, He is misunderstood by Christians who think Jesus Christ is the founder of a religion called Christianity. All of these are misconceptions of Jesus Christ. Who, then, is Jesus Christ? First of all, Jesus Christ was never a religious man. He was never a Pharisee or Sadducee or Herodian. He never joined the Sanhedrin Council. He never submitted to Caiphas. He was never a member of the council of Jerusalem. He never joined the traditional system of religion in His day. He never started a religion. He never preached religion. We have reduced Him to a religious leader. We actually see Him as one of the founders of the four great religions of the world. He never claimed such a thing. As matter of fact, His greatest opposition was religious people who conspired to kill and indeed killed Him. Who is this man? What was His message? Jesus was born a King of the Jews! Consider this Scriptures – Now when Jesus was in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the King, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him (Matthew 2:2-3, emphasis added). Before His death on the cross of Calvary Pilate asked Him whether He was a King? To whom He replied: “You say that I am a King. To this end I was born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I may bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears My voice (John 18:37, emphasis added). Jesus was not a prophet. A prophet speaks for God. But He was God in the flesh, named Emmanuel, meaning God with us. He only preached one message – The kingdom of heaven! His first public statement was: Repent (which means change your thinking), for the kingdom of heaven is near (Matthew 4:17). He didn’t bring a religion: He brought the government of heaven to earth. Isaiah 9: 6 confirms this – “The government shall be on His shoulder”. Why was the government on His shoulder? Because it was the kingdom or government of heaven Adam lost. Adam never lost a religion. Adam was a king made in God’s image and given dominion (rule or kingdom) over the earth. But satan came and stole that power because of Adam’s disobedience to God’s commandment. For this cause Jesus came, destroyed satan and collected the power and dominion from him and handed the kingdom back to man. If you know Jesus as King, you will know who you are. He will wash you in His blood and make you a king and a priest unto God (See Revelation 1:5-6). That’s why He is called the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Are you ready to become who God created you to be? Are you ready to receive the King? Pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess You as my Lord, Savior and King in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / We Are Children Of The Most High God by PastorAde: 12:08pm On Mar 05, 2011
We Are Children of the Most High God

They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundation of the earth are out of course. I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes (Ps. 82: 5-7).

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are gods? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken (John 10: 34-35).

The greatest problem in the world today is ignorance – lack of knowledge and understanding. In fact, God says in His word: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). The greatest weapon satan uses against humanity is ignorance. He is referred to as the prince of darkness. Darkness in this sense is ignorance of the truth. When a man or woman is ignorant of the truth, he or she is in darkness. And being in darkness can cost you your life and eternity. This was the lamentation of God in the first Scriptures above. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness. This “they” are all humanity. But God sheds the light of His word on humanity by telling them who they really are by saying: I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. Jesus in the New Testament of the book of John reiterated this truth that you are gods. Does this statement surprise you? Do you believe it? Understand that God created man out of Himself when He said: Let us make man in our image and our likeness and let them have dominion in Genesis 1: 26. And when Adam’s body was formed in Genesis 2:7, God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and Adam became a living soul. In other words, Adam’s spirit came out of God. Since we all came out of Adam, our spirits emanated from God. God is referred to as the Father of all spirits (Hebrews 12: 9). Adam was called the son of God (Luke 3:38), so are you! That’s why God says we are gods! But when Adam sinned by disobeying God, He fell into darkness. Having lost his authority due to disobedience, satan, instead of Adam, became the god of this world. But the coming of Jesus, Who is the light of the world, changed all of that. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He destroyed the prince of darkness and got back from him the power and authority Adam delivered to him. Jesus came to restore back to man his dignity and ruler ship. As many as believe in Him and are washed in His blood will be restored as gods, and kings and priests unto God (See Revelation 5: 6). How long will you continue to walk in darkness? Receive this light of the gospel today and you will be restored to what God originally created you to be – gods. Will you? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / We Are God's Offspring by PastorAde: 2:09pm On Feb 17, 2011
We Are God’s Offspring

For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring’ (Acts 17:28, emphasis added).

…The son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God (Luke 3:37-38, emphasis added).

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8: 34-36).

The word offspring is defined as children or young of a particular parent or progenitor. What does the first Scriptures above mean? In Him we live, and move, and have our being; as some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring’. The first man God made was Adam. God formed Adam’s body from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and Adam became a living being (Genesis 2:7). So Adam began to live, and move and have his being by the breath or life of God in him. The breath or life of God was the source of Adam’s breath. That makes God the Father of Adam. That also makes Adam the son of God. The genealogy of Adam is given in the second Scriptures above. Adam was directly the son of God.

God is a Master Manufacturer. He made Adam in His image and likeness as the first sample so that out of Adam there will be a mass production of all other human beings exactly as the first sample. This, then, is the origin of all human beings – we are God’s offspring.

Adam had a relationship of son ship with God his Father until he sinned by disobeying God’s command not to eat of the forbidden fruit. He therefore became a sinner and a slave of sin. All humanity suffered the same fate because we proceeded from Adam.

In order for God to redeem all humanity who are His offspring and to restore them to son ship, He had to send Jesus, the second Adam Who is the Lamb of God slain from before the foundation of the world to die and shed His blood to take away the sin of the whole world. All humanity are prodigal sons of God. For us to be reunited with God and be uplifted from the status of servants or slaves to sin, we have to acknowledge God’s love to us and receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. As many as receive king Jesus into their hearts, they will be cleansed and washed in His blood and will be given the power to become sons of God (See John 1:12).

There are two categories of people in the world today – sons (or daughters) of God and slaves (or servants) of sin. Which category do you belong to in all honesty? You are either a son of God or a slave of sin. God has already made the provision for you to become His son or daughter. Jesus is the provision. He came to restore you to God’s kingdom and son ship. Remember if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Will you be restored? Will you cease being a slave of sin? Will be become who you are really supposed to be – God’s offspring? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Wash away my sins. I confess you as my Savior and Lord. I am now your offspring in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / You Were Born For A Purpose by PastorAde: 12:18pm On Feb 07, 2011
You Were Born For a Purpose

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground” (Genesis 1: 26, emphasis added).

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come, I say: My purpose will stand, I will do all that I please (Isaiah 46: 10-11).

Everything God created both in heaven and earth has a purpose. For example, angels are created to serve God and man (See Hebrews 1:14). Fishes are created to swim, birds are created to fly, and the luminaries (sun, moon and stars) are created to give light upon the earth. The purpose of man in Gen. 1:26 is to rule over lesser creatures and all the earth.
God is a Master Manufacturer. He made Adam in His image and likeness as the first sample so that out of Adam there will be a mass production of all other human beings exactly as the first sample. In Gen 2:7 Adam was made and put in the Garden of Eden and given a work of cultivating and guarding it. He was then given a commandment of what trees to eat of and the one he was to abstain from eating. Adam gave names to all animals and birds but he was alone. For this cause God, the first Surgeon, performed an operation on Adam taking a rib from his side and made a woman whom Adam named Eve.

This first couple lived in perfect communion with their Creator and walked in God’s purpose of ruling over lesser creatures and all the earth until tragedy struck. Lucifer (Satan), one of the angels created to serve and worship God, misbehaved and became proud. He wanted to occupy God’s Throne and overthrow Him. For this cause, he was kicked out of heaven (See Ezekiel 28:13-18). This rebel angel went into the Garden of Eden to attempt what he could not achieve in heaven. Wanting power at all cost, and while Adam was AWOL (absent without leave), the devil went into the garden to deceive Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. Coming back from his AWOL, Eve gave Adam the forbidden fruit and he ate, forgetting God’s earlier command not to eat the forbidden fruit. Due to this sin of disobedience Adam and Eve were driven out of the garden (Gen. 3:24). Adam had committed treason against the heavenly government. Satan had succeeded in getting the dominion or rule over the earth from Adam. Satan then, rather than Adam, became the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

The All-wise God was not taken by surprise by that episode. The Lamb of God had been slain from before the foundation of the world to take away the sin (rebellion) of the world by the shedding of His blood. Understand God had given man legal authority to rule the earth. Satan, a spirit being, is illegal on earth. God had to become man to deal with Satan. For this purpose God overshadowed the womb of Virgin Mary with His Holy Spirit and Jesus was born. For the sin of man to be taken away, a sinless sacrifice has to be made. Jesus, the sinless Lamb of God, fits the bill. He was tempted by Satan but unlike Adam, He overcame the devil. He went to the cross of Calvary; shed His blood for all humanity, died and His Spirit went to hell where He defeated the devil collecting the keys of hell and death. On the third day, He rose up triumphantly and declared: “All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18). As the Second Adam, He came to restore the dominion Adam lost so that as many as receive king Jesus into their hearts, their sins will be blotted out and they will receive the Holy Spirit Who left Adam when he rebelled or sinned against God. You are born to rule and not to be ruled by Satan, sickness or any negative circumstance. You can become what you are born to be today as you give your life to Christ. Will you? Pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Let your purpose stand in my life O Lord in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / God Does Not Despise Or Ignore Anyone by PastorAde: 11:46am On Jan 17, 2011
God Does Not Despise or Ignore Anyone

God is mighty, and despises no one; He is mighty, and firm in His purpose (Job 36:5).

And God said, Let us make man in Our Image and Our likeness: and let them have dominion (authority, rule) over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them (Genesis 1:26-27, emphasis mine).

The purpose for which man was created is identified in the second Scriptures above. That purpose is to have dominion, authority or rule – not over fellow human beings – but over lesser creatures and over all the earth. And this is true for over 6.7 billion people on earth today. But millions, if not billions of people on earth today, do not know or understand this truth. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course (Psalm 82:5). But thank God, this gospel is coming to you to dispel the ignorance of darkness so that the light of Christ might shine unto you.

Understand O man, God has a purpose for you. And God is very firm in His purpose. Because of this purpose He has put in every man – male and female – He does not despise or ignore anyone. He knows the gift and calling He has put in every individual.

Adam was the first man He created. He put him in the Garden of Eden to be in His presence. Then He gave him the work of cultivating and keeping the garden. He was given dominion over all the lesser creatures and over the whole earth. He was also given a commandment of what trees to eat and the one he was to abstain from eating. But the enemy of man, satan, came and deceived Eve to eat the forbidden fruit which she gave to Adam who also ate in disobedience to God’s commandment. This sin of obedience led to their expulsion from God’s presence where Adam died spiritually and lost his dominion to the devil. Satan then became the god of this world, stealing, killing and destroying God’s creation. How can man regain back his dominion? God had the answer.

God foreknew satan would disrupt His purpose for man. From before the foundation of the world, the Lamb of God (Jesus) was slain to take away our sins and restore man back to God’s Kingdom and presence. Jesus came via the womb of Virgin Mary and at the age of 30, after being baptized by John and receiving the Holy Spirit Adam lost, He began to preach saying: repent, God’s kingdom (dominion, rule) is here! This was the same dominion or rule Adam lost. Jesus came to restore it to over 6.7 billion people on earth! How then can you regain the dominion? Receive the King (Jesus) into your heart. He will forgive all your sins and wash you in His blood so that you can receive the Holy Spirit He promised to give to believers. By the help of the Holy Spirit, you’ll be able to discover your gifts or talents and dominate or rule in the area of your gifts. The ultimate purpose of your gifts is to glorify God and win many souls to Him. As you have been enlightened, God expects you to bring others to Him sharing the same gospel with others. God does not ignore you. Have you been ignoring God? Repent or change your mind today. Pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / One Thing Is Needful by PastorAde: 11:29am On Jan 10, 2011
One Thing Is Needful

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the life was the light of men (John 1: 1-4).

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the First and the Last. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (Revelation 22: 13-14).

And Jesus answering said to her, Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her (Luke 10: 41-42, emphasis added).

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandment: for this is the whole duty of man (Ecclesiastes 12: 13, emphasis added).

If people are asked the question: what is the most important thing to you in life? A lot of answers will be given. To some, their career is most important to them. To others, their family is number one priority. To a lot of people, sport is their first love. Many other answers will be given by different people as to their prime desire. Inasmuch as all these priorities are legitimate, they cannot be compared to what was in the beginning. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. This Scripture shows us the Word of God is the source of all things – visible and invisible. Everything you can see in this world, including you, was made by the Word of God. The Word of God is therefore supreme and above all things. And the Word of God is a person – the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the First and the Last. He created all things; therefore, in your list of priorities, He should be the first. If you make other things in this world your first love, that is idolatry – loving the creature more than the Creator. Consider the story of two sisters in the third passage above. Jesus lodged in their house on a missionary trip to their village. Martha was busy serving while Mary sat at Jesus’ feet to hear His word. Martha protested to the Lord to allow Mary to assist her in serving. The Lord answered her and said she’s careful, concerned and troubled about many things. But one thing is needful: and Mary has chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her.

The most important thing to God in this world today is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. The preaching of the Word is God’s number one priority. People believing the Gospel and getting saved are God’s number one joy. For He is not willing that any soul should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The Gospel has been preached now for 2011 years. You are hearing the gospel now. Will you be saved? Will you fear God and keep His commandment? Will you go to heaven? Will you make Jesus your first love? If so pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / Re: I Need A Strong Deliverance Minister, My Life Is Crumbling Fast!1 by PastorAde: 1:05pm On Jan 09, 2011
Follow these rules in line with the Word of God
1. Make Christ alone your true foundation - For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (1 Cor 3:11). Go to Him in prayers and with repentance confess Him as your Lord and Savior (see Romans 10:9-10).
2.The concept of husband spirit is not biblical. You have only one husband in the spirit - your Maker (see Isaiah 54:5). It says: "For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole heart shall he be called. You may then ask: why am I having sex in my dream? The answer:Watch what you feed your mind on. Stop watching obscene films and stop reading obscene things. Read the Word of God daily, fall in love with the Bible and your mind will be renewed(see John 15:3 & Romans 12:1-2. When you do these you will not dream about husband spirit again.
3. Get baptized in the Holy Spirit. When this happens, no other lesser spirits can dwell in you.
4. Remember Hannah in the Bible. He cried unto the Lord and God gave her Samuel (see 1 Samuel 1:1-28). You might have to do what Hannah did. Make a vow to the Lord and don't forget to pay your vow when the Lord answers (see Ecclesiastes 5: 4-6).
5. Make sure you attend a good church where the pure Word of God is being preached.

Follow these rules and you will have a testimony this year in Jesus Name, Amen. (see psalm 107:20)

Religion / Awake To Righteousness And Sin Not by PastorAde: 1:40pm On Jan 06, 2011
Awake To Righteousness and Sin Not

And the Lord commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you may not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die (Genesis 2:16-17).

And you has He quickened (made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1).

Awake to righteousness and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame (1 Corinthians 15: 34).

He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, for His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God (1 John 3: 8-9).

The first command God gave to Adam was that he was free to eat of every tree of the Garden of Eden except of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If he does of the forbidden tree, he would surely die. Adam disobeyed God and ate of the forbidden fruit and died spiritually, i.e. he was separated from God, his source of life, having been driven out of the garden (Genesis 3:24).Though he was alive physically, yet he was dead spiritually. He became half dead. This is the state of many people on earth today because we all inherited the sinful nature from Adam. When somebody is dead spiritually, what are the symptoms? He (or she) does not have any relationship with God, the Creator. Some even deny the existence of God. Such a person does not go to church. He (or she) is indifferent to the things of God. Such a person sees nothing wrong in stealing, cheating, having multiple sex partners, saying foul languages, engaging in cultism, being proud, committing murder, etc, etc. Those who engage in these vices are living in sin and are dead to God. But the wages of sin is death. If one dies in sin, he (or she) goes to hell. There is a hell and a heaven people go when they die. Where will you go after death?

God has solved the problem of sin by sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, because it was the devil that deceived Eve, Adam’s wife, to eat the forbidden fruit. She gave to Adam and he did eat.

When you receive Jesus into your heart, He washes away your sin and awakens your dead spirit to righteousness and awareness of God. When this happens, you begin to love God and the things of God. You begin to love righteousness and hate sin. It is possible not to sin. How? By the power of the Holy Spirit that enters you the moment you receive Jesus and confess Him as your Lord and Savior. It is then you are born again, born of God and you cannot sin because His seed, i.e. His word remains in you and you cannot sin because you are born of God. Those who are born of God – who practice righteousness – eventually, go to heaven to meet God. Those who continue in sin are of the devil and they eventually go to hell. This is really the truth and a choice is placed before you – heaven or hell, righteousness or sin, God or the devil? Make the right choice today and it shall be well with your soul. If your choice is right, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Ignorance Is A Killer (3) by PastorAde: 7:43am On Jan 02, 2011
Ignorance Is a Killer (3)

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them (Genesis 1: 26-27).

The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth He has given to the children of men (Psalm 115: 16).

The devil said to Him (Jesus), All this power will I give You, and the glory of them: for this is delivered to me; and to whosoever I will I give it (Luke 4: 6, emphasis added).

And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth (Matthew 28: 18).

To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, And has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen (Revelation 1: 5b-6).

Ignorance is simply defined as lacking knowledge. There are three types of knowledge you must have in order not to be destroyed. First, is the knowledge of God. Second, is the knowledge of satan. Third, is the knowledge of you (man or woman). In part three of this writing, we shall deal with the knowledge of man (male and female).

God created man in His image and likeness, male and female. They were made to have dominion over lesser creatures and over all the earth. God ruled in heaven and gave the earth to the children of men. Adam and Eve together exercised this dominion for a short while before satan in the form of a serpent deceived Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit. Adam also ate in disobedience to God’s earlier command to him. This disobedience led to the fall of man. Adam thus delivered his power and dominion to satan who was a fallen angel (see Luke 4:6 above). Due to this incidence, man could no longer exercise dominion over lesser creatures and all the earth. Instead, satan became the god of this world stealing, killing and destroying all of God’s creatures – including man – and all the earth. But God had a solution.

The solution God had was to send Jesus the second Adam to restore the dominion Adam lost. Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. This, He did by dying on the cross of Calvary for all humanity. On the cross He spoiled satan and His demons and got the victory for all mankind. After He rose from the dead, He said, “All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth.” Presently, Jesus has all power. Satan has zero power. What about man? Jesus loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father. This has already happened. For you to be a partaker, you must receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Once you do that, His blood cleanses you and you become a king and a priest unto God. This was what Adam lost. As a king, you can once again rule over lesser creatures and over all the earth. As a priest, you can go and pray directly to God in the name of Jesus and you will receive answers to your prayer. You don’t need any human intermediary between you and God anymore.

In descending order of power and authority, God the Trinity is first. Man who is redeemed by the blood of Jesus is second. Satan is least and powerless. Since he fell, he never rose. Never again be afraid of the devil, but fear God who is all powerful. Will you be restored to the image and likeness of God and exercise dominion over the whole earth?
If so, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Ignorance Is A Killer (2) by PastorAde: 1:52pm On Dec 30, 2010
Ignorance Is a Killer (2)

How you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, the son of the morning! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the most High God. But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit (Isaiah 14: 12-15).

He (Jesus) replied, “I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you power to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (Luke 10: 18-19, emphasis mine).

And (Jesus) having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2: 15, emphasis mine).

They overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; (Revelation 12:11).

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All power in heaven and earth has been given to Me” (Matthew 28: 18).

Ignorance is simply defined as lacking knowledge. There are three types of knowledge you must have in order not to be destroyed. First, is the knowledge of God. Second, is the knowledge of satan. Third, is the knowledge of you (man or woman). In part two of this writing, we shall deal with the knowledge of satan.

One of the most dreaded being in this world is satan. In most cases, satan is even feared more than God who created him. This ought not to be so. The purpose of this writing is to expose who satan is, so that you will not be ignorant of him. Ignorance is a killer, but you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Satan’s original name was Lucifer. He was an archangel in heaven but he was cast down to the earth when he wanted to raise his throne above God’s throne, and be like the Most High God. For his pride, he was brought down to the grave, to the depth of the pit. Jesus saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. Unlike Jesus, satan never rose from his fall. When he fell, he went to the Garden of Eden as a serpent to deceive Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit which she gave Adam to eat in disobedience to God. This sin of disobedience led to the fall of Adam. All humanity inherited the fall Adam. But God had a solution to the fall of man. The solution God had was to send Jesus Christ to die for all men on the cross of Calvary. On the cross Jesus disarmed or spoilt powers and authorities i.e. satan and his angels triumphing over them. He redeemed the whole world by His blood. By the blood of Jesus and the word of God, satan has been overcome. This is true both then and now. Jesus Christ has been given all power in heaven and earth, and has given all that power to those who believe in Him. Believers have been given power to trample on snakes and scorpions. These are not just literal snakes and scorpions. They are also spiritual snakes and scorpions – satan and his demons. Power has been given to believers to trample on satan and his demons. Remember since satan fell from heaven, he never rose again. But those who believe in Jesus have been raised to sit with Jesus on His throne (see Ephesians 2:6). Now that Jesus has all power in heaven and earth, satan has zero or no power! Why, then, will you fear satan that is powerless and not fear God the Almighty and Jesus that has all power in heaven and earth? The reason for that is ignorance. But now you know the truth. Will you be saved and overcome in this world by the blood of the Lamb? If so, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Ignorance Is A Killer (1) by PastorAde: 10:43am On Dec 28, 2010
Ignorance Is a Killer (1)

My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children (Hosea 4: 6).

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4: 3-4).

Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (John 17: 3).

To the Jews who had believed in Him, Jesus said, “If you hold on to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8: 31-32).

Ignorance is simply defined as lacking knowledge. God says in the first passage above that His people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. This is the major cause of man’s problem in the world today. This lack of knowledge does not stem from a shortage of information, but rather from information rejected. There are three types of knowledge you must have in order not to be destroyed. First, is the knowledge of God. Second, is the knowledge of satan. Third, is the knowledge of you (man or woman). In this writing, we shall deal with the knowledge of God.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of how God sent Jesus into the world to save mankind from the effect of the fall of Adam, the first of men. The gospel tells us about how Jesus came; died on the cross; shed His blood, His burial, His resurrection, and ascension back to heaven. The gospel proclaims to us that as many as believe in Jesus and call upon Him will be saved from their sins and obtain eternal life. What the devil does is to blind men’s eyes from seeing this truth in order to be enlightened. I pray that the veil of ignorance and deceit be destroyed in your life in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

In the third passage above, eternal life is defined as knowing God, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. If you don’t know God and Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you have no eternal life. What you have is eternal death. I pray that will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name, Amen. But how can you know God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent? The Bible says: for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? (Romans 10: 13-15a). I have been sent to preach the gospel to you so that you can hear and believe and then call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ so that you can be saved. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). You can only be saved and have eternal life through Jesus Christ.

This gospel is coming to you so that you will not be ignorant of the truth. Ignorance is a killer. Jesus told the Jews that believed in Him, “If you hold on to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” When you know the truth, the truth sets you free from ignorance that can kill you. When you know the truth, you can now decide whether to accept or reject the truth. But what is the truth? The truth is a person and that person Jesus Christ. He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14: 6). Will you call on the name of the Lord Jesus and be saved? Will you accept the truth and be set free? If so, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / The True Meaning Of Christmas by PastorAde: 9:36am On Dec 25, 2010
The True Meaning of Christmas

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from hereafter even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this (Isaiah 9:6-7, emphasis added)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16, emphasis added).

Christmas is celebrated all over the world in remembrance of the time when Jesus was born into this world. At that time, some wise men brought gifts to Jesus, who was born the king of the Jews (Matthew 2: 1-11). Since then, when Christmas is celebrated, people exchange gifts to one another as a show of love.

At the first Christmas, God indeed demonstrated His love to the whole world by giving His only begotten as a gift to the world. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” – John 3:16. According to this Scripture, those who believe receive the gift of everlasting life in their spirits. This believing is more than mental acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It involves believing with your heart and confessing with your mouth, Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It is then you are saved – Romans 10:9.

At Christmas, the Gift of all gifts was given by God to the whole world – “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given. The gift God bestowed to the world at Christmas is His Son, Jesus Christ. And this Jesus is Wonderful, He’s the greatest Counselor, He’s the mighty God, the Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace. All these have been given to us through Christ Jesus! What a joy to have to the Peace of God in the midst of trouble and uncertainty in this world. Jesus is also the Way, the Truth and the Life. So when you receive Jesus, you receive the gift of eternal life. Understand that satan came before Jesus into the Garden of Eden in the form of a serpent and he distributed death to Adam and Eve, for he (satan), came to steal, to kill and to destroy – John 10: 10a. But Jesus came at Christmas in order that we might have life, and have it more abundantly – John 10:10b.

By the disobedience of Adam, death came upon all men for all have sinned. But by the obedience of one man (Jesus), the free gift came upon all men to justification of life – Romans 5: 16.

So what will you have this Christmas, above the physical gifts received from friends and loved ones? Will you receive the greatest Gift ever given? If your answer is yes, pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son Of God, I believe you came to earth, I believe you died for me on a cross and I believe you rose from the dead. Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, I invite you into my heart, wash away my sins in your blood, make me whiter than snow. Now, I confess you as my Lord and Savior. I receive you as my greatest gift, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Heaven And Earth Shall Pass Away by PastorAde: 2:03pm On Dec 24, 2010
Heaven and Earth Shall Pass Away

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24: 35)

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled (Matthew 5:18).

And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark (Genesis 7: 23).

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conversation and godliness (2 Peter 3: 10-11).

God is a very patient God. He loves His creation exceedingly. He loves man and woman but He hates sin. In the days of Noah in the Old Testament, when God saw that the wickedness of men was great and the imagination of their heart was continually evil, He sent Noah, a righteous man, to preach righteousness unto the inhabitants of the earth. Noah preached for 120 years and at the same time built an ark to preserve those who might believe. God waited in patience for 120 years expecting men to heed His words through the preaching of Noah. At the end of 120 years only Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives believed the preaching of Noah. 8 souls including male and female of all animals and birds entered the ark and were saved from the flood of waters which destroyed the earth and the sinners thereof.
After the flood, God made a promise to Noah not to destroy the earth again by a flood (Genesis 9: 11). This event happened thousands of years before Jesus came to the earth.

Jesus, talking about the last days, prophesied that heaven and earth shall pass away but His words shall not pass away. It was for the sins of the whole world that Jesus came and shed His blood. He suffered for all humanity to take away our sins. As many as believe in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. These words of Jesus are real and cannot pass away but be fulfilled. This time around the world will be destroyed by fire. At His second coming, Jesus will rapture or take away believers to heaven to escape the judgment of fire coming upon this world and the sinners and ungodly men who reject the gospel of the kingdom heaven. As it was in the days of Noah that the ark was lifted up in safety from the flood, so shall believers escape God’s wrath and judgment by being divinely transported to heaven. Mark these words, they shall come to pass. For you to enter heaven, you must believe and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You must conduct yourself in holiness and godliness. You can only be holy and made righteous through the blood of Jesus. Will you enter heaven? Will you escape the coming judgment of fire? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Are You Conformed To The Word Or To The World? by PastorAde: 3:19am On Dec 22, 2010
Are You Conformed to the WORD or to the World?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12: 1-2).

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever (1 John 2: 15-17).

For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be firstborn among many brothers (Romans 8: 29).

The first passage above is an appeal – a passionate appeal – to offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God which is our spiritual act of worship. In other words, we are told to give our bodies in holiness to God, undefiled by sin or unrighteousness. We are told not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing our minds. By so doing, we will be doing God’s good, pleasing and perfect will. The second passage explains conformity to the world – by loving the world and the things in the world. The things in the world are specified – the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. We are told that these things are not of God, but of the world. If any man love all these, the love of the Father is not in him and the world passes away and the lusts thereof, but he that does the will of God abides or lives for ever.
If we are told not to be conformed to the world, then we have to be conformed to the WORD of God. Starting with our bodies, we have to offer to God in holiness. Then our minds must be renewed with the Word of God. The ways of the world are opposite to God’s Word and ways. Why is this so? This is so because the Bible says satan is the god of this world. Anybody that loves the world and the things of the world is being ruled knowingly or unknowingly by satan. On the other hand, anyone who practices the above Scriptures in conforming to the Word of God is being ruled by God. In the last Scriptures above, we are told that God foreknew us and that our destiny is to be conformed to the likeness of His Son – Jesus Christ. Understand also that Jesus Christ is the WORD of God personified. For us to be conformed to the WORD and fulfill our destiny we must obey and do the Word of God. Thus, we will be pleasing to God and doing His perfect will. Will you be conformed to the WORD or to the world? Two choices are placed before you and both have their consequences – heaven and hell. If your choice is WORD, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Savior and my Lord in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING BETTER

MEMORIZE: “For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Heb. 11:10).

READ: Hebrews 11: 13-16

“But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel” (2 Timothy 1: 10).
Once upon a time, human beings were in dread of death. Satan used death as a weapon to get them to do his bidding. But Jesus Christ came and changed that scenario for all who received Him. If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, death is outside of the list of things you should fear. It has been abolished and you have been empowered to put it where it belongs. Unfortunately, for those who have not believed the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Satan will continue to torment them with the fear of death. There are millions of people in cults, doing unimaginable havoc such as donating their loved ones and parts of their bodies to Satan just because they don’t want to die; whereas, Jesus freely offers them life (John 10:10). Have you accepted Christ’s free offer of salvation?
Death is a relative term to people. If you are sinner, you need to fear death because it will open the door way into eternal damnation. Once a sinner dies, there is no room for repentance. In hell fire, many are repenting of their sins but they cannot be forgiven or be released because they are doing the right thing at the wrong time. Some delays could be very costly: totally beyond redemption! Hence, if you have not received Jesus into your heart and life, do so today before it is too late. But to believers in Christ who live in righteousness, death is the doorway into eternal bliss and reward. For such people, there will be peace each time they hear the word ‘death’ because they know what is waiting for them (2 Cor. 5:cool. I have noticed that genuine believing men and women who died in Christ show certain signs weeks or months before they die. They would suddenly lose interest in the mundane things of earth and be filled with much yearning as if looking forward to an exciting journey. That was also the experience of patriarchs of old. Abraham could not be satisfied with the pleasures of the earth. He began to look for something better. There is a better country. There is a better planet. You can make it to Heaven. Are you still attached to the earth? Are you prepared for the trip to your eternal home? Are you prepared for death? Don’t let death take you unawares! Prepare for it by becoming born again and living daily for Jesus.

ACTION POINT
---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------
The best earth can give to its most favoured citizen is not up to a millionth of what the least favoured citizen in Heaven gets. One ‘planet’ is obviously better than the other!

Religion / The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth by PastorAde: 8:28am On Nov 22, 2010
The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth

The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to man (Psalm 115:16)

A little while, and the wicked shall be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek shall inherit the earth and enjoy great peace (Psalm 37:10-11).

Now Moses was a very humble (meek) man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth (Numbers 12:3).
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5).

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-29).

This earth is a large, massive expanse of both land and water. It is a big estate owned by God, the creator. After God created everything on earth – trees, vegetation, sea, animals, etc, - He created Adam to oversee, manage, and have dominion over the earth. As a matter of fact, God gave this earth to man as an inheritance (see Psalm 115: 16 above). But Adam’s management and dominion over the earth was short-lived in that through his disobedience to God’s command by eating the forbidden fruit, he lost the power and dominion and the inheritance. Satan the deceiver then became the god of this world.

The consequence of Adam’s disobedience is that sin entered the world and all kinds of people – the righteous, the wicked – inhabited the earth.

The word “meek” is defined as humbly patient, overly submissive or compliant. This definition of the word “meek” suits Adam before the fall. He was overly submissive or compliant to God’s commands. But he broke one command and became a sinner and lost the inheritance, i.e., the earth. God promised in the Scriptures above that the meek shall inherit the earth.
Moses in the Old Testament of the Bible was described as being the meekest man in all the earth. The Israelites were slaves in Egypt for many years. King Pharaoh was their task master. God used Moses to deliver them from Pharaoh’s bondage.
There is a greater bondage men are in today in the world. It is the bondage to sin and death. Man was ensnared in this bondage after the fall of Adam. At the fullness of time God sent Jesus Christ – the meek and humble – to deliver the whole world from the bondage of sin and death. He died for us all and destroyed the destroyer (the devil) on the cross of Calvary. As many as believe in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life. For you to inherit the earth, you have to be submissive or compliant to God’s command. God’s command regarding your salvation is: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your household.” Will you inherit the earth? Will you be saved? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / God Is A Provider by PastorAde: 8:55am On Nov 18, 2010
God Is a Provider

Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or the spirit of life, and man became a living being (Genesis 2: 7).

Nevertheless He left not Himself without witness, in that He did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness (Acts 14: 17).

Neither is worshipped with men’s hands as though He needed anything, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things (Acts 17: 25).

He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things (Romans 8: 32).

All the Scriptures above reveal to us that God is a Provider. This is His very nature, this is His very name. Beginning with man whom He created from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, to every other things needed for the enjoyment and well being of His creatures, God provided all!

Apart from giving to us the breath of life, He gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. He sends the spring into the valleys, which runs among the hills. They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst. By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches. He waters the hills from His chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of God’s works. He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that He may bring forth food out of the earth; and wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart. He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows it’s going down. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are all things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts (Psalm 104:10-15; 19; 25, emphasis added). If we continue to list all the things God has provided for man, they are endless. Count all these blessings, name them one by one.

Of all the things God has provided for man, one is so unique and above all. This unique thing is a Person and that Person is Jesus Christ. God gave Jesus Christ to be the Savior of all men. There is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. What shall it profit a man if he enjoys all of God’s provision in this world and lose his own soul? For our sins Jesus came into the world and died on the cross of Calvary. He shed His precious blood to buy or redeem us from eternal damnation. Those who believe and receive the best gift of God i.e. Jesus Christ will be saved and have their sins blotted out and forgiven. Those who reject this best gift of God knowingly or unknowingly bring damnation to themselves and perish. The choice is yours to make. It’s either you accept all of God’s provision including the Savior Jesus Christ or accept God’s provision excluding Jesus. Will you accept all including Jesus? Will you be saved and washed in His blood? If so, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess and accept you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Prepare To Meet Your God by PastorAde: 1:28pm On Nov 07, 2010
Prepare To Meet Your God

Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel. And because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel (Amos 4: 12).
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10: 19).
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need (Hebrews 4: 16).
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God (Matthew 5: cool.

If you have an appointment to meet the president of your country, you will dress most gorgeously and beautifully to honor the invitation. You will not want to appear before such an important personality dressed shabbily or looking unkempt. You will appear before him looking really, really good. But what about if you have to meet with God, your Creator? You ought to look much more gorgeous and beautiful. But the difference between man and God is that: man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16: 7b). The most beautifully dressed man or woman could be most wicked at heart; for the heart of man is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it? (Jeremiah 17: 9).

God is Most Holy and He dwells in the Most Holy Place. He is of purer eyes than to behold sin or iniquity. For you to enter His presence you need the blood of Jesus Christ. But why the blood of Jesus? Why not the blood of Adam or the blood of rams, sheep, goat or any other human being? It is because Jesus was the only man that lived without committing any sin. He once asked the Pharisees and the Jews: “Which of you convict me of any sin?” All of us were born in sins and trespasses. We all inherited the sinful nature from Adam and Eve, our first parents. The blood of man is polluted with sin and out of the heart from which blood flows, all kind of evil – evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness – proceed from within and defile the man. But there is good news. The blood Jesus has been shed for all humanity to take away our sins; and whosoever wills may be cleansed from within.

God sits on a throne called the throne of grace. If you will, you may go to God with confidence by the blood of Jesus to obtain mercy and find grace to help in your time of need. For you to meet your God you must prepare your heart; for, He looks at the heart and not at your physical appearance. The last passage above says it all. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. You can only be pure in heart by the blood of Jesus. Do you want to meet God your Savior and Creator? Do you want to enter heaven? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen.

Religion / Be At Peace With God And Man by PastorAde: 12:09pm On Oct 18, 2010
Be At Peace with God and Man

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; (Hebrews 12: 14-15).

Agree with your adversary quickly, whiles you are in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison. Verily I say unto you, you shall by no means come out from there, till you have paid the utmost farthing (Matthew 5: 25-26).

And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled (Colossians 1: 20-21).

The first Scriptures above reveal to us that two things are essential if you want to see the Lord or enter heaven. These two conditions are – to be at peace with all men, and holiness. Peace is defined as being in a state of friendliness with your fellow human being and God. It is a state of no strife or enmity. Holiness, however, is defined as being holy, set apart from sin, sacred. When these two conditions are met, then you will see the Lord and enter heaven.

The second Scriptures corroborate the first. Jesus said agree with your adversary or enemy whiles you are still in the way with him. Otherwise, you will end up in prison. What Jesus is saying is that: be at peace with your enemy. Even if you are right and your enemy is wrong, make up or settle out of court with your enemy. At every point in time be at peace with all men and be holy or set apart from sin.

The third Scriptures above reveal to us that Jesus Christ has made peace and reconciled all things including humanity to God by His blood shed for us on the cross of Calvary. Why was the need for peace and reconciliation between God and man? Peace existed between God and Adam the first man. When Adam sinned against God by eating the forbidden fruit, he was driven out of the Garden of Eden. His fellowship with God was broken; there was no more peace because of sin. That was when humanity and the whole earth lost their peace. But God sent Jesus, the Prince of Peace to die for all humanity in other to restore peace between God and creation. When you receive Jesus in your heart and confess Him as your Lord and Savior, your sins will be washed away and the peace of God will enter your heart. The blood of Jesus also makes you holy and set you apart from sin and unrighteousness. It is then you will have the ability to extend mercy and forgiveness to those who offend you having received the same from God. If you do not forgive men their trespasses or sins, God also will not forgive you; so your sins remain and no sinner can enter heaven. Remember all the above Scriptures. Peace with men is what I call horizontal peace. Peace with God is what I call vertical peace. Combine these with holiness - which only comes by being washed in the blood Jesus – and you will see the Lord or enter heaven.

Will you enter heaven? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / The Wonders Of God by PastorAde: 2:02pm On Oct 08, 2010
The Wonders of God

As you know not what is the way of the Spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so you know not the works of God who makes all (Ecclesiastes 11: 5).
I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are your works; and that my soul knows right well (Psalm 139: 14).

For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 6:9).

God is a God of wonders. The things that are created – animate and inanimate – all testify about the wonders of God. Consider, for example, the sun, moon, stars, galaxies, etc. Have you ever wondered how all these came into being and how they operate? It is by the sovereign power and wonders of God. Consider yourself O man and woman. Consider when you were still inside your mother’s womb. How did the bones grow? How did you attain the nine months in your mother’s womb? When you eventually came out of the womb, how did you grow into a full adult? Did you grow into a full adult just because you were feeding well? Have you ever seen your brain and all your internal organs? Have you seen your digestive system? To sleep is a miracle. To wake up is a miracle. If all the wonders of God has to be written in book, this world will not contain it (see John 21: 25). Man is a complex creation of God. It takes an excellent and perfect God to create a masterpiece called man from which a woman was made. God just put Adam to sleep and took out a rib. With that rib He made Eve, Adam’s wife.

God gave man His own intelligence, for man was created in the image and likeness of God. In the genealogy of Adam in the book of Luke, Adam was directly the son of God (see Luke 3: 38). Adam was the one that gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field (Genesis 2: 20a). From then on till date, with the intelligence God gave to man great things have been invented in this world.

Why, then, was a child born and another Son given? It was because the first child of God, Adam, sinned against God by disobeying His command not to eat the forbidden fruit. Due to Adam’s sin of disobedience, death entered the world. In order to provide a solution to the problem of sin and death, God sent Jesus Christ, the second Adam to die in order to take away our sins. His name is called Wonderful. He was the only man that lived without committing sin. He came as a Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the whole world. On the cross of Calvary where He died, death, sin and satan were judged and destroyed. On the third day Jesus rose up triumphantly from the dead. He did this for all humanity –irrespective of race, nationality, gender, color or religion. As many as believe in Him, and confess Him as Lord and Savior, will not perish but have everlasting life. When you confess Him as Lord and Savior, His wonders will continually manifest in your life. Will you be saved? If yes, pray this prayer aloud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Religion / Oh That Men Would Praise The Lord by PastorAde: 9:01am On Jul 01, 2010
Oh That Men Would Praise The Lord

I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the Lord; and I will heal him (Isaiah 57: 19, emphasis added).

By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name (Hebrews 13: 15, emphasis added).

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies your mouth with good things ; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103: 2-5).

Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He has broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder (Psalm 107: 15-16).

Have you ever wondered why God created your lips? Are your lips created just to receive food into your mouth? Are they created to curse, gossip, or back bite your fellow human beings? Are they created to speak idle words? The answer to all these questions is NO. He that created the lips tells us the reason for creating the lips in the first two Scriptures above. “I create the fruit of the lips ……, Says the Lord”. The fruit of the lips is what proceeds from the lips and it is defined as the sacrifice of praise. When the lips are used for the purpose for which they are created, we experience peace and healing in our bodies. Moreover, praising God with our lips should not just be occasional, it should be continually.
God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Thanksgiving and praise attract God’s presence. He dwells in the midst of praise. There are lots of benefits inherent in praising and giving thanks to God continually according to Psalm 103: 1-5. First, He forgives our iniquities. Second, He heals all our diseases. Third, He redeems our lives from destruction. Fourth, He crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies. Fifth, He satisfies our mouth with good things; so that our youth is renewed like the eagles. Because God personally attends to and inhabits praise, He demonstrates His goodness and wonderful works to the children of men when they are in the act of praising Him. He breaks in pieces the gates of brass and cuts in sunder in bars of iron. What does this mean? Difficulties, problems and bondages are subdued and overcome when we praise God. God is greater than any human problem or mountain. As you praise God in the problem, He provides a way out. Praise and thanksgiving is an attitude you must cultivate if you want God’s presence, success and victory in your life. But how can you praise the God you don’t know? “God that made the world and all things in it, seeing that He is the Lord of heaven, and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands. Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at (overlooked); but now commands all men everywhere to repent: Because He has appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He has ordained, whereof He has given assurance unto all men, in that He has raised Him from the dead” (Acts 17: 24-25, 28-30). God has overlooked the times of men’s ignorance in worshipping false gods. He now commands all men everywhere to repent because He will one day judge the world in righteousness by Jesus Christ. Will you praise the true and living God? Will you give your life to Jesus? Then pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Wash away my sins. I confess you as my Savior and Lord. Write my name in the book of life in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Light Or Darkness? Make A Choice by PastorAde: 9:06am On Jun 16, 2010
Light or Darkness? Make a Choice

This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1: 5, emphasis added).

1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of the God moved upon the face of the waters. 3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1: 1-3).

Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12, emphasis added).

He that believes in Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:18-19, emphasis added).

For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light (Ephesians 5: cool.

In the beginning God, Who is light personified, created the heaven and the earth. Everything He made was good and perfect. He filled heaven and earth with His light. But how come the darkness that was upon the face of the deep in Genesis 1: 2?

There was a rebellion in heaven. Lucifer (satan), attempted to usurp God’s throne of glory. “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon: and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels with him. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12: 7-9, 11a).

At the end of that war in heaven, satan was cast out of heaven into the earth. He is darkness personified. He brought darkness into the earth. That explains the darkness on the face of the deep in Genesis 1: 2. Then in Genesis 3 he went into the Garden of Eden to deceive Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit which she later gave to Adam to eat. Due to Adam’s disobedience to God’s earlier command not to eat the forbidden fruit, sin, death and darkness entered into the human race. Adam who was full of light as a direct son of God was now filled with darkness because he was cut off from fellowship with God Who is light. All of Adam’s descendants were also filled with darkness due to the fall.

David, while repenting of his sin of adultery, prayed this prayer in Psalm 51: 5. “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” This statement is true for every man born into this world. We were all conceived in sin, due to the original sin of Adam. Sin originated from satan who is darkness personified.

In solving the problem of sin and darkness brought into the world by satan, God, Who is light, sent Jesus His only begotten Son into the world, and He declared: “I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”. There are two personalities you can follow as an individual – Jesus or satan. Jesus is the true Light which lights every man that comes into the world (John 1:9). Satan is a deceiver which deceives the world and keeps men in his kingdom of darkness. If you believe in Jesus and follow Him, He lightens up your life and you become light personified and enter God’s kingdom. If you reject Jesus and follow satan you are darkness personified and remain in the kingdom of darkness (see Ephesians 5: 8 above).

Who will you follow? Jesus or satan. What choice will you make? Light or darkness? If your choice is light, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Fill me with your light. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. I choose light; I reject darkness in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Your Words Determine Your Destiny by PastorAde: 11:18am On Jun 10, 2010
Your Words Determine Your Destiny

There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one (1 John 5: 7).

For by Him (Jesus, the Word) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him , and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist (hold together) (Colossians 16-17, emphasis added).

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success (Joshua 1: cool.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be (James 3: 6, 10).

But what says it? The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10: 8-10).

For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned (Matthew 12: 36-37).

Words are very, very powerful. By the very words of the Lord all things were created – things in heaven, things on earth, visible and invisible, thrones, principalities, or powers – including living and non living things. And the word of God is a person and that person is Jesus Christ. The word of God is very creative and full of power.

God created the first man Adam by breathing into his nostrils His very breath. He put His words into his mouth and Adam gave names to all living creature (Genesis 2: 19-20a). Adam ruled the whole world then by his words, but he fell through disobedience to God’s command not to eat the forbidden fruit.

At the beginning of Joshua’s ministry, God commanded him that His law or words should not depart out of his mouth, for by the words of God he would be prosperous and have good success. Had he disobeyed, he would have failed woefully. But Joshua succeeded. The tongues of many have gotten them into trouble, defeat, sickness, and failure in life because words are very creative. If you constantly say things contrary to the word of God, you will be miserable and defeated in the battle of life. Even for you to be saved, you have to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. No one will enter heaven without confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior. By your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned. Watch your words. Do they tally with the word of God? Are you saved? Are you successful? Are you prosperous? If not, it might be due to your negative words. Change your words today. Let them conform to God’s words. Do you want to be saved and justified before God? If yes, pray this prayer out loud. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / The Whole Duty Of Man by PastorAde: 10:41am On Jun 01, 2010
The Whole Duty of Man

13. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14)

God the Creator put man on earth and requires of him just two things: to fear God and to keep His commandment – this is the whole duty of man. This statement is true of the first man that inhabited this planet Earth. That man was Adam. God put him in the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. He was commanded of what trees he should eat of and the one he should abstain from. But the devil came into the Garden and deceived Eve who in turn gave of the forbidden fruit to Adam, thus breaking God’s commandment and choosing not to fear God (See Genesis 3: 1-6). In effect Adam failed in his duty.

The Preacher in the passage above reminds all men of their duty on earth – to fear God and to keep his commandments. Life is totally profitless without God-connectedness. Profit exists only for those who fear God and keep His commandments. This is the grand conclusion of the wisdom Preacher. The order in the original text is, “God thou shall fear.” Fear of God is that reverential awe that emerges when we, with our lack of holiness, are met with the righteous demands of His holiness (Isaiah 6). Its total effect is to produce in man an unquestioning obedience to all of God’s revealed will. Viewing God in this manner and complying with all of His revealed commandments is the inescapable duty of all men.

In verse 14 a further reason is given for practicing the fear of God and obeying His commandments. The Preacher announces a heavenly tribunal at which every work, and every secret thing shall be brought to judgment. There is coming a day of judgment when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ (Romans 2:16), bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of every heart (I Cor. 4:5), a day when the absolute profit of every deed and thought will be assigned by that One who judges in righteousness and truth. But how shall you get a right judgment on that day?

16.For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn (judge) the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18. He that believes in Him is not condemned (judged): but he that believes not is condemned (judged) already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19. And this is the condemnation (judgment), that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3: 16-19, emphasis mine)

The above passage is simple and straight forward. God so much loves His creation that He gave Jesus, His only begotten Son. Whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus did not come to condemn or judge the world, but to save the world. He that believes in Him is not judged: but he that believes not is judged already, and the judgment is that light (Jesus) is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.
Those who believe in Jesus Christ and maintain good works and righteous living need not fear the Day of Judgment, because the blood Jesus washes the believer from all sins. Those who reject Jesus are already judged. Their judgment is already determined. The truth is that God sent His Son to be the propitiation or legal satisfaction for the sins of the whole world. Those who accept Jesus and confess Him as Lord and Savior are cleansed and forgiven of their sins. But those who reject Jesus reject God’s love and provision for their salvation and thus go to hell. Which one will you choose? Heaven or hell? God or the devil? Justification or condemnation? If your choice is the positive, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Come into my heart, wash away my sins. Make me whiter than snow. I confess you as my Savior and Lord, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Who Governs You? by PastorAde: 9:41am On May 25, 2010
Who Governs You?

Thus says the Lord, The heaven is My throne; and the earth is My footstool (Isaiah 66:1a)

Your kingdom shall be sure to you, after that you shall have known that the heavens do rule (Daniel 4: 26b, emphasis added).

For unto us a Child is born,, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and justice from hereafter even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this (Isaiah 9: 6-7, emphasis added).

The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven (1 Corinthians 15: 47, emphasis added).

Giving thanks to the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of our sins (Colossians 1: 12 -14, emphasis added).

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).

The heaven is the throne of God, and the earth is His footstool. God governs the earth from His throne in heaven. He is therefore the Governor over the whole earth, because it is the heavens that do rule.

In order for God to extend His kingdom over the earth, He created and appointed the first man Adam to be His representative, and to have dominion over the earth (Genesis 1: 26). Adam was therefore ruling over the earth, but under the Governor of heaven and earth (God). Adam was governed from the kingdom of heaven, and as long as he obeyed the commands of God, he prospered. But there came a time when Lucifer (satan), one of God’s angels fell from heaven through pride. After his fall, he went into the Garden of Eden as a serpent to deceive Eve, Adam’s wife, to eat of the forbidden fruit God had earlier commanded Adam not to eat. Eve ate of the fruit and gave Adam of the same. Due to Adam’s disobedience to God’s commandment, he was driven out of the Garden of Eden. Having committed treason against the heavenly government, Adam lost his power and authority which he delivered to satan (see Luke 4: 6). But God had a solution.

The solution God had was to send the second Adam, i.e. Jesus Christ from heaven to earth to deliver the whole world from the power of darkness into the kingdom of God. This, He did by dying for the whole world on the cross of Calvary for our sins which we all inherited from Adam. As many as believe in Jesus will not perish, but have everlasting life. As many as believe in Jesus will be delivered from the kingdom and dominion of satan into the kingdom of God. It is either you are being governed by God or satan. There is no middle ground. You can only have redemption and salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ whom God sent to bring His kingdom to the earth. Will you allow God to govern your life from henceforth? Will you be saved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus? If yes, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / Do Not Boast About Tomorrow by PastorAde: 12:35pm On May 18, 2010
Do Not Boast About Tomorrow

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the First and the Last (Revelation 22: 13).

My times are in Your hands (Psalm 31: 15a).

Do not boast about tomorrow; for you do not know not what a day may bring forth (Proverbs 27: 1).

For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. For whether we live, we live to the Lord; and whether we die, we die to the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be the Lord both of the dead and living (Romans 14:7-9).

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast or brag. All such boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins (James 4: 13-17).

One of the great attributes of God is His ability to know the future. That is why He is called the Omniscient God – the all-knowing God. No mortal man has the ability to know tomorrow except by divine revelation from the Almighty God. That is why a mortal man should not boast about tomorrow.

In the first passage above Jesus addresses Himself as the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the First and the Last. All these names mean the same thing. He is the Alpha, the Beginning and the First. As the Beginning, He existed with God before all other things created. He is also the Omega, the end and the Last. That means as the end, or the Last, He alone knows the future. Everything ends up in Him – “For of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things: to whom be glory for ever, Amen” (Romans 12:36). It is therefore a sin to boast about tomorrow, for no one knows what a day may bring forth. Having this knowledge, therefore, man ought to commit his life to the all- knowing God because out times are in His hands.

The first part of the fourth passage above says none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. This means if we are alive, we are the Lord’s responsibility. If we die, we are also the Lord’s responsibility. This is a food for thought. You and I cannot live our lives apart from God and cannot just boast about our future. Our future is in His hands. We are told in the second part of the fourth passage that “For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be the Lord both of the dead and living”.

Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead. As many as give their lives to Him and confess Him as Lord and Savior will be saved and end up in Him. As many as reject Him will be damned and have their part in hell. God did not prepare hell for man, but for satan and his angels. Those who accept Christ are only agreeing with God’s plan of salvation and a secure future for themselves. Will you be saved and secure? Will you end up in the Omega, the end, and the Last? If yes, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Religion / God's Services Are Provided Free Of Charge by PastorAde: 8:32am On May 15, 2010
God’s Services Are Provided Free of Charge

Nevertheless He left not Himself without witness, in that He did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness (Acts 14: 17).

Neither is worshipped with men’s hands as though He needed anything, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things (Acts 17: 25).

He sends the spring into the valleys, which runs among the hills. They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst. By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches. He waters the hills from His chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; and wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthens man’s heart. He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows its going down. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are all things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts. There go the ships (Psalm104:10-15, 19, 25-26).

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given (Isaiah 9: 6a).

For by grace you are saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2: 8-9).

In order that man may be without excuse, God has both human witnesses and nature witnesses to confirm His existence. Some of the human witnesses were used by God to write the Bible giving account of the creation of heaven and earth by God. They wrote about the story of Adam, the first of men who God put in charge to dominate the earth and rule over lesser creatures. They wrote about the fall of man and how all men were made sinners. They wrote about how God sent Jesus, the second Adam to die for the sins of the whole world and restore man back to God by His precious blood. They wrote about how nature also witness to God’s existence. Man is therefore without excuse.

In the first passage above we are told that God did good. He gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. This is a cycle. God sends rain from heaven- It makes the seeds planted by the farmer to be fruitful. When the crops are harvested, we have food and gladness. God also gives us life, and breath, and all things. These all things include, among others, springs of water, grass for the cattle, herb for the service of man, wine that makes glad the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread which strengthen man’s heart. He gives sun to lighten the day, and moon to give light in the night. He created the sea with all the fishes and other creeping things. The ships use the sea as their highways. All of these services that man enjoys are provided freely by God! Have you ever paid for the rain, the seeds that produce food, your breath and the air? Have you ever paid for the sun by which God lightens the day or the moon by which you see in the night? There are abundance of fowls of the air and fishes in the sea. If you go – a fishing today, you will catch a lot of fishes in the sea. God gave man all these things freely to enjoy.
And to demonstrate His total love for man, He gave His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and save us. Salvation is a free gift of God. Romans 8:32 says: He(God) that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?.
Will you accept the free gift of God? Will be saved? If yes, pray this prayer out loud: Lord Jesus, come into my heart, wash away my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.
