angelboy01: I Am not really good at writing a composition but the whole thing started around last year November when I lost my job at a reputable company, things became really hard that my ex wife started with her attitude, someone I helped through her schooling, even opened a shop for her after our wedding.
She started losing interest in me because I was broke and there was no more love because I couldn't meet up to her demands. She became the bread winner around that time, things didn't go as expected for me, I needed to do a lot of things even pay for the rented apartment we were in and the landlord came with the eviction letter.
Things became really tough that she wasn't sleeping at home anymore, she would leave home for days and come back home and give me some little change and leave again, she started to live with her aunt and I became so lonely and useless in her eyes.
Eventually when I came up with the apartment money and we paid I decided I wasn't going to stay with her for a while and go out and look for a job, so as to avoid fight and arguments. She later called me that her boss from the USA was back and she was to go and meet him because they had a meeting to do so I said OK since I usually speak and text with his boss so I allowed her to go. So after I left home I got a job and I frequented coming home to see her and my baby. I later found out she began to lock her phone and I asked her for the password she wouldn't give it to me so I began to suspect her.
One day I eventually found the password and I unlocked it while she was asleep. I found out through a chat she had with her friend that she had sex with her said boss and she even bought a land without telling me all through the years we were together. I felt so betrayed and angry. I woke her up and asked her about it and she started crying and begging me.
I left home angrily and jilted. I was so devastated that I smoked a lot of weed that day and drank so much beer. I called my mom explained to her and later told her mom too. The next day her mom called me that she wanted to poison herself because of what she did. I sent her boss a message on WhatsApp and that one didn't even answer me because he knew what he did with my ex wife.
It's been months now since this happened and her mom calls me almost everyday begging me to forgive and forget but how do I forget, it's not easy for me because I can be having sex with her and be seeing her boss face.
I blocked her on Facebook and whatsapp but didn't block her calls or text message because of my baby when I need to send upkeep money. She calls me but I don't pick up. I know that I can't be with her anymore but she has the wedding certificate we got at the court wedding. I told her to give the photocopy of the certificate to my mom but she wouldn't do it.
Guys the reason why I wrote this is who has an idea on how to go about a divorce without the certificate because someone told me the certificate is important for the divorce. I don't know anything about it and my uncle even said the divorce will cost me a lot of money about 650k. I don't know it that's true too. Lol.
Please guys help out here. I have the proof of the chat and the audio conversation of the sex escapade with her boss so that will help in the court. My lovely daughter is 2 years now. How do I even collect my daughter from her. I have left all my property's for her because of my daughter and am starting my life afresh. 2. Salary Increase
The woman had been rewarded by her employers with a salary increase. Her salary had been increased to N15,000 from N7,800, making it a N7,200 increase.
3. Job offer
She had gotten a job offer to work with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria as an employee in it's commercial department. In her words:"I am in the commercial department. We are in charge of flight landing."
4. Rewards
She had also been rewarded by others who were impressed by what she did. It was gathered that the owner of the money had given her N5,000. She also received a reward from Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission.
Ugwu had said: "The owner gave the security men about N15,000. I was given N5,000 out of it. One organization gave me N20,000, I also got a freezer."
5. Mockery
Despite becoming a symbol of integrity and honour to many, some Nigerians mocked her for returning the money. They expressed that someone who was living the way she did shouldn't have returned the money back. Others stated that despite what she did the reward did not equal her effort.
A colleague of hers had said: “Some people have abused her and called her a fool for returning the bag. It now looks as if what she did was wrong. Most people will not be motivated to follow her lead when faced with similar situation. The government should have, at least, sent her a commendation letter for what she did.”
Despite the fact that she was mocked, Ugwu expressed that she prefers to make a good name for herself than become rich.
“So, I am telling every Nigerian to be happy in any situation they find themselves. Don’t be faster than your shadow because so many things will go wrong. Sometimes things get bad because people want to be like others. All fingers are not equal. It is true that God promised those who serve him riches, but people should be careful how they go about it. I am telling people to have patience. It is because people want quick money that is why some people become thieves."

nwakibie3: A senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe (Abia-PDP), has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to declare December 31 as Democracy Destruction Day to mark the coup he led to end Nigeria’s Second Republic in 1983.
Mr Abaribe made this contribution to the dissent of All Progressives Congress senators on Thursday.
Then a Major-General, Mr Buhari on December 31, 1983 led by a group of senior army officers to overthrow the democratically elected government of President Shehu Shagari. He was appointed Head of State by the conspirators.
Now a democratically elected president, Mr Buhari on June 6 directed that effective 2019, Nigeria’s Democracy Day, marked every May 29 for the past 18 years, be shifted to June 12 to honour Moshood Abiola, the winner of the 1993 presidential election. Mr Abiola was never ssworn in as president. He was instead detained by the military and died in prison five years later.
Mr Abaribe said December 31, 1983 is significant enough to mark the day democracy was destroyed in Nigeria. He urged the president to declare the date just as he did June 12.
First, he joined his colleagues in commending Mr Buhari on the move.
“I support what Senator Olujimi and also what the Deputy Senate President had said, insisting that there may have to be an amendment of the constitution.
“I also want to add that it would also be necessary for the Executive to quickly bring to the National Assembly, an amendment to the Honours Act which states that there cannot be posthumous award. Now that they have jumped the gun to do posthumous award, it would be necessary for us to quickly amend that act.
“Finally, I want to also propose another day since we are now moving in the right direction, saying that democracy is needed, I want to propose that we also designate 31st December as Democracy Destruction Day because that was the day that this same president did a coup.”
Mr Abaribe was cut short by his colleague, Barau Jibrin (Kano-APC), who raised a point of order to call the attention of the Senate to a derailment from issue being discussed.

Angelanest: There was pandemonium earlier today at Chikun local government area of Kaduna state following the re-scheduled local government election in the area. An attack was launched by some angry protesters on two lawmakers who were allegedly caught with electoral materials.
The accused lawmakers are House of Representatives member, Abubakar Mohammed Mamadi and Member of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Mark Yari.
Hundreds of voters in the area protested that the lawmakers, from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, allegedly came to steal their mandates.
The gate of the Chikun local government secretariat was brought down by the rampaging protesters, who claimed that their preferred party, the PDP had won the polls but was robbed of the mandate.

teddynaijaboy: The Federal Government of Nigeria has increased maternity leave from three to four months, the government also barred employers from sacking married women.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, made this known at the ongoing International Labour Conference (ILC), in Geneva, Switzerland, yesterday. He said;
“Employers of labour (in Nigeria) are, by regulation, requested to provide workplace crèches for nursing mothers for ease at work place. In the public service, government recently increased the period for maternity leave from 12 to 16 weeks; to allow enough recuperation for both baby and mother, especially in the area of breast feeding.
“In addition, all disciplinary proceedings against any female staff, which might have been taken during the period of her maternity leave shall be put in abeyance till the expiration of the leave.
“Employers of labour are also barred from removal of women from work due to their marital or maternity status, illegal labour migration, contract staffing and labour casualisation which affects most women, are being reformed through policies and regulations at national, bilateral and multilateral levels.”
“The ratification, domestication and implementation of the Maternity Protection Convention No. 186 are conscious efforts to ensure that more women enjoy maternity protection in the country…”
The Minister also said that a lot needed to “be done in terms of putting in place appropriate legislation, policies and practices to deal with the gender gaps that inhibit greater participation of women in the labour force.”
He added that the most effective method of eliminating gender inequality from the workplace lies in vigorous opposition to employers’ discriminatory conducts, policies and harassment in all forms wherever and whenever they occur.
To address gender inequality and youth unemployment in Nigeria, Ngige told delegates that the federal government drew up and has been implementing an Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP).

stane007: Speaking at his investiture as Grand Patron of the Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS) at the presidential villa in Abuja, President Buhari insinuated that the Nigerian army showed lots of restraints on Biafrans during the civil war.
According to President Buhari, Yakubu Gowon, who was the then head of state issued strict instructions to the army that Biafrans were not enemies, but “brothers and sisters of the rest of Nigerians”.
“Earlier in my profession, during the civil war, I know how much sacrifice members of the Nigerian Red Cross and their international counterparts did both in the real front of operations and at the rear, on both sides. “The risks they faced were real and I admire their courage and commitment to helping people who were in distress and were virtually in millions. Those photographs of people from the Biafra enclave spoke a lot.
“I remember with nostalgia the performance of the commander-in-chief, General Yakubu Gowon. Every commander was given a copy of the commander-in-chief’s instructions that we were not fighting enemies but that we were fighting our brothers. And thus, people were constrained to show a lot of restraint.
“The international observer teams were allowed to go as far as possible within and outside the front and I think this was generous and very considerate of General Gowon. He is a highly committed Nigerian" he said.

Letenwam: A five-month-old baby girl, Rachael Karungi, who was kidnapped by a troupe of chimpanzees, was reportedly rescued by members of the Kyamajaka village, Muhorro town council, Uganda, on Sunday.
The mother of the little girl, Oliver Kemigisa who confirmed the incident which she said occurred a few minutes after 5pm on Sunday when she was preparing dinner at their home, told Newsvision that she had left the baby with another baby in the verandah, while she moved a few meters away to cook.
The lady revealed that after she heard the babies crying, she turned around and saw over 20 chimpanzees surrounding the babies. According to her, one had already picked Karungi and the others also aiming at the three-year-old boy as he cried. Kemigisa said she wrestled with the chimpanzees for the boy as she raised an alarm. She managed to save the boy, but the primates ran away with Karungi.
“When I saw that they (chimpanzees) wanted to take my other child, I became firm and fought them. That is how I saved the boy,” said Kemigisa.
She said that Karungi was taken into the nearby bush, but residents turned up immediately and began chasing them. The animals had hidden the baby in the grass after removing the skirt she was wearing.
When the baby was discovered, she was unconscious and was immediately rushed to Muhorro Health center III where she is currently admitted. She said that on a daily basis these chimpanzees traverse the area in search of food and they usually chase people.
This is coming after it was reported that a newborn, who was sleeping under a mosquito net at his home in eastern India, was scooped by a monkey who carried him away. The mother told authorities that she watched helplessly as the animal invaded their home over the weekend in a village in Banki, Odisha, and took her days-old son, according to Agence France-Presse.

As for me, whenever I read a book or story or listen to one of those tales by moonlight, I try as much as possible to dig out some life secrets in them. My mind has been built to look out for secrets that can change my present level and also the lives of those around me. What about you? Life is made up of mysteries. The creation of man and the entire earth and the other planets is a mystery itself.
These growth secrets will wow some of you, inspire some people, educate some people and look like shit to some. But no matter the category you fall in, you are welcome. Today, I want to share with you just six business and career growth secrets that I learned from observing the story of Jonah and the fish
- Always Be Ready To Throw Away Excess Baggage While studying the story, I discovered that sometimes we must make hard decisions of throwing away excess baggages. While the heavy storm hit the ship that Jonah was in, the mariners were faced with a very hard decision of throwing Jonah inside the water. They had tried to stay afloat by throwing away the baggages into the water, but that wasn't enough to calm the storm. For any business or career to experience exponential growth, some people, or habits or routine must be thrown into the water. You mustn't be scared to Sack some staffs or walk away from some relationships in order to grow.
- Seek for Your Nineveh The hardest growth strategy is trying to force your product or brand or profession on people who don't need it at the moment. Jonah would have struggled to sell his message to the people of Tarshish but he didn't need to beg the people of Nineveh to accept his message because they knew they needed him at that moment. If your product or brand or talent is not been accepted in your state why not relocate to another state? If your country doesn't accept what you have to offer, wisdom demands you take your talents or products to another country that are in need of what you have to offer at that moment. When you find your Nineveh, you will flourish without stress.
- Don't always do what you like doing I know you have been told before now to always do what you like doing but the truth is most times, our success lies in where we don't like to go and in things we don't want to do. Have you noticed that children always cry when they are told to go to school? Jonah wanted to go to Tarshish. That was where his eyes were but that wasn't where his success was. If you want to experience exponential growth, do what you don't want or like to do.
- Every Wrong Move Will Cost You Something In preparing to grow, every business and career person must understand that there is always a price to pay for mistakes. Every wrong move will always cost you something either time, money, ideas, resources, relationship, trust, or even innocent lives. Jonah made a wrong move at the early stage of his preaching career and he paid for it.
- You Don't Have To Fight It A friend once noticed that most of his clients in his Consulting business were foreigners despite spending a lot of money to promote his career here in Nigeria. It got to a point that he had no other choice than to relocate to Canada because that was where his success is. You don't have to fight with nature. If you intend to sell your products or brand to the youths and your products is being accepted by kids you don't have to fight it other than to move with nature. Jonah wanted Tarshish by all means but every of his plans and effort always led him to Nineveh. That was nature in play. You may have your choice but don't fight if your growth is coming from a direction you don't want. You don't have to fight it because you can't fight it.

A former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu has made a rather startling revelation on Camera, admitting that when he was a member of the former ruling party, they 'used' to kill people during periods of crisis.
He admitted that while he was a member of PDP, he was aware that politicians eliminated their rivals and other electorates so they can secure their victory during elections.
Kalu who was governor from 1999 to 2007, defected to APC in November 2016. He disclosed this while addressing journalists in Abuja during the South-East APC caucus meeting in Abuja yesterday May 31st.
He said this while reacting to the peaceful APC congress that took place in the South East recently. ''In any democracy, there is always a quarell. In PDP, we used to kill people when we are doing all this things(congress) which is not good. People used to die'' he said.

The Presidency on Saturday said that it was the Peoples Democratic Party led government under former President Goodluck Jonathan that brought shame to the country and made her a laughing stock in the comity of nations.
This is coming on the heels of the comments attributed to former President Jonathan where he was quoted as saying that he was ashamed that Nigeria has joined comity of countries used to illustrate bad governance.
The former President who was at the inauguration of the first bridge built by Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state in Ado Ekiti on Friday, allegedly said that Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari has become a reference point for negative things.
Jonathan was said to have cited recent instances when the Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo allegedly mocked the poor state of security in Nigeria and the naira’s weakening status.
He was quoted to have said, “He (Nana Akufo-Addo) said Ghana is not like Nigeria where cattle roam the streets. At another occasion in the United Kingdom, he made scathing remarks about Nigeria’s currency.
“I feel ashamed as a former President that the President of a neighbouring country used Nigeria as negative examples. Tuu
“If a neighbouring African President will use Nigeria to make negative examples, then we as leaders must know certain things are wrong in the country.”
But the Presidency has told former President Jonathan to give the Buhari-led administration a breathing space to clean the mess of his administration.
Speaking to Sunday Vanguard while reacting to the allegation by Jonathan against Buhari’s government, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu said that Nigeria was a paria nation under the previous administration but that the country has started gaining back respect in the government.
She said, “Who put us there. He is the one in the mirror, who put us there? The picture is of himself. Let him look at the mirror. So what else does he want to see.
“President Buhari is trying to clean up the mess and he is doing a good job of it. please they should allow him time to do this thing.
“We are gaining back our respectability globally even the citizens when they travel out of the country, they are better respected than they were before. It was a big shame but we are happy that Mr. Jonathan himself is realising this and hope that his political party will own up what they did to the country.
“He made Nigeria a laughing stock, if other countries are laughing at Nigeria, who put us there? Are they not the one?”
