Sincere 9gerian: It is the JOINT responsibility of the states, federal and local govt to create jobs and eradicate poverty. The national purse is shared 50-50 by the federal govt on one hand and the states and local govt on the other (via state-local govt joint account).Go and preach your drivel to World Bank. One of the basic amenities needed to eradicate poverty is electricity. I suppose it is the job of State and Local governments to provide that also - no? |

I cannot help but admire the intellectual wit of this Fashola dude. Kerosene should have long been eradicated at least from urban cities like Lagos. A right step being taken by Fashola and his intelligent crew. Fashola truly has this way of making developments easy and fanciful to grasp and appreciate. For example, the last time I was in Lagos, I did not even know we had passed Oshodi not until my friend told me. It was definitely not the Oshodi I used to know many years back. It is maritally unhealthy and goes a long way in making couples not having the perfect bond and true understanding to themselves fully. This is not about being wracked with guilt. It is about doing the right and most appropriate thing as a couple. Spend time together devoid of family ties. Unfortunately, even if the sister of the husband is angel michael, she is still in the way of this couple. 1 Like |
