TonyeBarcanista:
Yesterday, someone gave me what Magnus Abe(Ogoni) said of OUR Ijaw people, today you are telling me what Saro Wiwa(Ogoni) has to say of people that he has NO blood relation with in your bid to deny the words of the children of these people who clearly stated..

How can a Bini man tell of the Yoruba ancestry when Yorubas have their own story? No even Oba of Benin can go against them.

Who was the ancestors of your phantom Ndoki?

Go to the President and People of the group (Phone number provided) and enquire or tell him what Wikipedia/Wiwa says about them.

That Amaechi called Buhari "Igbo" doesn't make Buhari an Igbo man. Pls do well by letting me be.
Na now I know say you have an agenda! I just called my ndoki friend, and he so angry! Listen, visit their page on facebook and forget all these lies!

My comrade, good morning. Let's forget the past errors of our people and move ahead. As for ME, if there are any group of people I'll never take for granted, they are the Igbos. No one has ALL the details that happened during the Civil War, but I feel a lot of you are gradually overreacting to barcanista's needless article.
Calm down! We got you, some of us can be overzealous all na part of the thing it doesn't make any difference in our quest for unity! As far as yoruba and hausafulani are not involved I'm ok.
Meanwhile I found out about this people from a friend who is from there.

Make no mistake, I am a full-blooded and passionate Igboman and will defend anything Igbo at all cost, if such need arises. However, I do not believe in Biafra; don't want to have anything to do with it and will never be part of it.
I knew from the beginning that you will arrive at this juncture "we don't need biafra " what a mess! You have spent time talking about the problems with out a solution, people like you are the problem with igboland, I have confronted people like you several times, they will only list bad things done to them, what have you done for the igbo nation or igbo people. All these things you are complaining of abound everywhere in the world, you are just reasoning the exact way the nigeria state wanted us to do. Do you think we will continue to do buying and selling till the end? What happens to other sectors? You limit our potentials with unsubstantiated claims. People should start being responsible and stop complaining! What effort have you been able to put in place in igboland?
You spend time talking about how we hate ourselves yet you have never said anything on how we have helped and supported each each other, built our respective villages from dust!
We spend so much time malining ourselves.
Who wants to hear our "akwa aririri".
Finally we need media house that will foster the unity, package our people and promote our dreams and aspirations. Let's be positive all the time. Biafra must come in due time or should I say in fullness of time. Biafra is a bae for now.

Look at this yeye writer! You just registered registered few hours ago, to open your first rubbish!
The story of osu is over emphasised, I recently asked my grandmother about it, she told me that they the so called osu in our village are the richest now, and discriminate against the so called amadi. She told me how it all started, aand how they are now the most educated and richest in my village! Kori gi akuko nkogheri si eba puo!
The biggest lies in your write up, is that you attached importance to your settlement in Nsukka. There is no part of igboland that cares about what you're saying.

After reading from page 0 to here, I must say that my eyes are now open to the reality! I was listening to Segun on rhythm 93.7 fm #viewpoint
You needed to listen to what the gentlemen in the studio were saying! They were very upset and disgusted! Some callers were saying that the protesters were igbo settlers infact they speak with so much anger on igbo people. The way they shredded them was an eye opener! I was listening through the stream.
The most callers were ijaw, Okrika Ogoni and others, I didn't hear any ikwere or igboid people call in. But the fact that no single of them called and refuted those lies says a lot! Please we should start work now. We must rightly inform our people, we must unite our people across the board, and we shall also abandon those that are rejecting igbo! No time for identity crisis within our territory. tonybarca said plans are on the way to unite ijaw nation, but would be glad to have a divided igbo nation.. no problem, I blame the ikwere people! If we can invest in bringing our people together using a very vibrant media outlets we will win this war!!!
There many lies against igbo, they accuse of things they are also guilty of. Let’s use visual media to bring our lost tribe back. We will form a strong voice in africa...

I laugh whenever i hear people say "the Igbos hate themselves".
Ever wondered how we were able to bounce back so quickly after the civil war?? here is your answer.
WE take great pride in our communities, our people and our way of life; and, WE NEVER APOLOGISE FOR THAT!
what they call hate,is nothing but the internal competition they see us engage in,which of course is geared towards our improvement.

please stop getting overtly emotional and sentimental and lying. this man is a very rare igbo man. no igbo man attains wealth and helps his brother. if all igbo men attained wealth and helped their brother the 5 igbo states will be like heaven now. igbos like to oppress each other. thats the truth. if everybody is rich then there is no one to oppress right ?
mad man you are saying rubbish! In igboland if you don't help people, you're on your own!
What people complain of is, not doing enough! And not doing at all..
The igbo traders you see clustering at a particular market with a similar goods, achieve that by helping themselves. Say what you know

mumu you know nothing about igbo! It's only bad people that are more pronounced, I have an uncle who has about 7 millionaire he raised from different towns and states. They bring cows to him every year to show appreciation! And he is just one among many.
Is it because we don't make noise on newspapers? The bad ones are always popular.

You're not saying the truth. Among the major tribes in Nigeria, Igbos are more likely to help their brothers, whether directly or indirectly when they attain wealth than people from other tribes. That's why majority of developmental projects in Igbo land were brought about by private individuals rather than the government.
In my village currently, there are several scholarship programmes to help train the indigent up to university level. The main challenge is even in the inability of young people to pass JAMB these days, not in the insufficiency of funds for their training.

It's mainly in the north that you have rich Alhajis who will rather want almajiris that will remain poor and destitute, and be subject to his wishes than send them to school so that they will become financially empowered and independent.
Don't mind that fool Ee a lot of philanthropist in igboland that compete in doing good things. We build our schools churches roads water etc the boy boy system has made a lot of improvement in igboland! No other tribe can attain this level.

Well, enough is indeed enough. I believe that the event must be recounted by whoever witnessed it, but with the aim of educating, informing and influence a better decision of our people. However, what keep troubling me is how some IPOB youths go about it. Calling PHC 'Igweocha' is nothing but heavy slap on all of us. The most painful is tagging us 'traitors' by the IPOB youths. I think they should define what they actually want and bring to the table to enable us determine whether or not we will align to it.
have you google the meaning of Igweocha? Or Portharcout an okirika or calabar name?

If you give Igbo man an inch, he will take 10 metres. Among all commentators on Nairaland, d igbos on nairaland are so pain by ur position on Biafra because they cant call you a yoruba man.

They expected every pro GEJ in south south to be pro Biafra. That is what the IPOB noise is base upon to deceive many south south people to follow them to Slaughter house. No deep thinking south south perso will agree to Biafra.

What they fail to understand is that i may be pro APC south south person today while you may be Pro PDP south south person today. We may not agree on political issues. But on the issues of our ethnic nationalities we dont give a damn about PDP or APC. That is where they got it wrong.

The BIafra Igbo want is d Biafra were they can completely remove south south people from history. In d Biafra they want, Igbo alone will be more than 60% of the population. With that they can have thier way. Impose igbo language on every school and claim is for national unity. In less than 50years we will all loose our identity.

Even as at today, they dont recognise or respect many ethnic group in south south. As far as they are concern Ikwerre, Opopo, ika etc are igbo. They dont care what these people think.
You are talking rubbish as usual! When a man bearing igbo names from those places commit crime! You all will label him igbo

For those of you who don't know, this man is building a 14 storey in his home town, pharmaceutical company, he sponsors over 400 law students and other field of study,
He built two standard secondary schools with teachers quater! He bulk two churches with the priest building, gave them cars.
He constructed dual carriageway in his home town..
This man is sending most of his kinsmen abroad for studies..
I urge any other media house to visit this town and see wonders!! This man is a God sent! I don't think the op captured it.

RIP but you see, some of you yoruba are very funny
If it was an igbo person, the newspapers would have carried it. Their people would have raised it over their.
But when this ugly trend was happening some of you were happy here saying they should kill them all.
There is something you guys don't know, in SA all igbo people are like soldier ant that move in groups and watch each others back. But the yoruba among them are like lost sheep without a shepherd.
This same scenario played out in the North. You will be surprised to know that each time there is crisis igbo people rally round and protect themselves. While other tribes they regard as igbo are mainly killed. In any place we go we have our own secret police, that watch over us unless the person is a useless person. If an igbo person is missing, everyone will know he will be looked after. His church members will ask of him, he age grade will ask of him, his village meeting crew will send delegates to look for him, his business partners will come. These are the things you have to know about ndigbo.. we are peace loving people. But we watch each others back. In 2011 when corpers were killed igbos made so much noise we looked for them we asked questions that was why it appeared that only people were killed, we value lives a lot.
I urge yoruba to do same.
