We shouldn’t be playing those together. They are 8s. We need a real CDM that can collect the ball on the half turn and initiate play while still being mobile and fairly solid defensively.

It might not solve Amaka’s flaws but it is better to have the correct players in a suspect system than to have suspect players in a suspect system.

Well we could easily have signed one in the summer but Ole didn't press for one rather we were linked to CMs.

For now, we have no option as Matic cannot play every game so we should brace up for more of McFred until at least the January transfer window opens...

But come to think of it, this McTom issue is something a good coach should spot and address but it appears it's only the fans that watch the team because most fans have pointed out this issue for a couple of seasons now but nothing has been done to get it sorted out.
