Eyah...For some reasons I feel somewhat emotional about this picture. Seeing as Nigerians will do almost anything to earn a living even with an uncaring Government. God shall provide for us all. Amen. |

frankmoney: We actually need the ventilators.... It depends on how you interpret it . To me what he meant is just that the country really needs it , not like they have sold the country or anything . In my opinion Exactly. Its an American way of speaking sort of an euphemism that Nigeria very much needs ventilators. |

I'd say Dandi lies to the west, tilting a bit towards the South west of kebbi state. Modified: Reading through your question again, I see I missed the point. I'm not sure which zone Dandi falls into as per senatorial zones in kebbi state. |

senatordave1: Let's just say there are now hausas You will be surprised they are not. There are some who still speak these languages especially the older folk. They are a conquered people but they are not Hausa's even though they speak the language. These things are not black and white if you've been to the North before. Consider the Zurus, a most enlightened tribe in Kebbi today. They still hold on to some distinct norms which in many ways differentiates them from the regular Hausa folk. |

senatordave1: What's the percentage of Hausa's and Fulani's there The original inhabitants aren't Hausa's . Jabarama, kabawa, kangawa etc are some of the languages/tribes there. However the language is almost extinct due to the Fulani jihad. Presently, there's a healthy mix of Fulani!/Hausa with local tribes not discounting intermarriages brought about by long years of association. |

makewetalk2: Looks like a welding machine. As if they joined a Stainless Steel Water dispenser and oxy-acetylene tank. Very lackluster and fourth-rated. If Atiku would allow this to be used on his son, then I am game. If Buhari would have allowed this to be used on Abba Kyari then, we are set for takeoff. The funny thing is the logo engraved all over it. They should stop all this nonsense display of mediocrity and get ready for business. Things are getting harder than expected. Buhari at this point should liaise with working manufacturers to get things going. Innoson can make better deals than this nonsense here. We are not in time for this stupidity. Give Innoson cash to produce the things that we need. Nigerians are dying. For how many years have people been displaying talents and you ignored? Give professionals the money to produce these machines. Stop this bigotry. Let the NAF work with Innoson and let us get things going.
No one should fall for this nonsense. Look properly, the soldiers are taking pictures of the machine which means that they have not seen it before AND THEY PRODUCED IT See how they are staring at what they produced.
Nigerian Army should show us their manufacturing factory, to begin with. We know that the Nigerian army is not capable of producing anything. They should focus on producing local guns that we buy from Russia and China. Local thieves manufacture their own guns. Ojukwu produced bombs and weapons during the civil war but Nigerian soldiers complain of a lack of guns to fight Boko Haram. Someone who can produce this machine can produce guns and bombs to fight Boko Haram. Why do we give China and Russia so much money for weapons if these guys can produce this?
The Nigerian army at this point should have been a prime example of invention and creativity. Nigerians have prolific assets all over the world engineering invention and working as unseen brains behinds major technological developments. Sadly, once you are in Nigeria you are coerced to conform to shallow reasoning and medieval modus operandi. The motive for joining the military in Nigeria is not to serve the nation but to subjugate poor civilians and oppress lowly victims of the economic plummet in Nigeria.
Buhari is an old father of tribalism. He is the definition of a bigot. And, he has surrounded himself with people as wicked as himself. NAF should show us the bodies of Boko haram and save this petty thing for their children. We are wiser than baby tricks Wallahi you don't have respect for engineering. xcabczyxabczzzz: Very very okay is not the opposite of poor naw. Kebbi state has a bustling middle class and I don't necessarily mean govt employed workers. This is occasioned in part by the economic and agricultural activities in the state and also by the relatively low standard of living I.e prices of goods and services. You'd be surprised to find out the rice you ate today was farmed and bagged in Kebbi state. |

Doyin2: The insecurity implications are mind boggling! The insecurity situation you talk about is virtually non existent. Kebbi state remains one of the peaceful States up north. I'd go further to say the only peaceful State in the north. No stories of banditry, terrorism, religious fanaticism, tribal/chieftaincy disputes/wrangling or any of the sad stories that constantly assail us from the northern part of the country. |

God so kind I served in Kamba LGA, Kebbi state and was privileged to travel to neighbouring towns and villages..Dole-Kaina is sandwiched between Nigeria and Niger Republic with schools, administrative activities conducted in English and French. Other important towns within the area are Gaya in Niger Rep and Malavin, a major trading town in Benin republic. Overall it was an eye opening experience for me having never been to the far north ever before. Another reason why corp members should stop "working" their postings except absolutely necessary. There's this lure of adventure and satisfaction you derive knowing you will be going to God knows where and which you know you'd probably never visit on your own volition. |

Wikipedia is wrong. Abba Kyari is in his sixties
. I think you are right. The age on his wiki page may actually be that of the late Brigadier Abba Kyari, one time military governor from Bornu state who himself died a few years ago. There's been some confusion about the many Abba Kyari's from Bornu. |
