Can you cover your head without covering your hair and vice versa? |
Once a man has paid the bride price on a woman, there is legal marriage. The Church has no business conducting a wedding. The wedding that the Lord Jesus attended was a traditional wedding. Is there any record of any other wedding in the NT? No because it is a private family thing. I will conduct a Church blessing in fifteen minutes, because it is meant to be an announcement. |
Praise Synagogue all you want, I want you to know that Synagogue is not for Christians. Judaists are still attending their Synagogues. And if you want to criticize a minister of God, go ahead and spew all the trash you can. However remember that the Bible states that "Who are you to criticize another man's servant? By his master he is able to stand or fall" The same people criticising these flamboyant ministers are the ones who refuse to support the genuine ones who are living by the standard of the Bible. They question their calling because they don't ride jeeps and do not live. The foundation of God stands sure, God knows those who are His. |
He is setting up his economic team before his swearing in as President. Whereas PMB set up his team one year after his swearing in. And you are wondering why the economy went into recession. |
PresidentAtiku:Three things are clear to me here.1. The journalist was trying to gain access to GEJ without observing protocol. 2. He was saying some unprintable things that GEJ found funny. 3. There is no evidence of battering here unless they are referring to legal battering which is improper here. This is pure sensationalism. |
The simple reason is that they want to curtail the power of the social media. Expensive data means less time on social media and therefore less criticism. |
Jegede is a complete gentleman I have known for over forty years. That is his house. He is a native of Akure town, so he doesn't have any village. He is not a career politician, so it is not a do or die for him. When asked a week ago how he felt, he responded "It will be well at the end. And if it is not well, it is not the end of life" |
So the whole of the state should stand still just because you have problem in your party abi? Go and sit down joor.
You seem to forget that at the time INEC purported to make the initial substitution, the time stipulated for that had passed and Jimoh Ibrahim was in clear breach of INEC's procedural regulations. So INEC caused the problem. |
If you have ever handled an iPhone, you wouldn't post this rubbish. Only the point about memory card is valid. |

afla:Justice opened the door after the gate had been opened. Go and read the report of punch. They showed warrants for other judges not himself and still went ahead to remove his bag of yet to read judgments. |
bettercreature:It is not the duty of the JCN to prosecute. In a sane society, the DSS or whatever would have presented the evidence to the JCN. They will investigate the allegations and recommend the removal of the judges. After their removal from office, the DSS or whoever can then prosecute for the criminal aspects of their actions. Buhari will leave and the judiciary will still be there. If the above procedure was adopted, the institution will not stigmatized while yet punishing the culprits. The judiciary stood against the tyranny of the military, if we allow them to destroy it, we are in trouble. |
CHANNELStv2020:Statements like "Nigeria is cursed" are counterproductive. God said ... As I have heard you say so shall I do. Continue to bless this country so that God will bless it. |
The man is a Lawyer, he stated that there is no offence called padding. He is very correct. But I am sure there are offences like forgery, falsification of figure etc. I have not looked at the Penal Code for over five years, and I do not have one at hand. However, although the House of Representative is empowered to make alterations to budgets, it must be done by the whole house or a Committee of the house subject to the approval of the house. It cannot be done surreptitiously by anyone including the Speaker. If it is so done, it amounts to forgery. And this offence cannot be covered by parliamentary immunity, because it is a malfeasance. Dogara, I am also a Lawyer and I have been for some time too and practiced in the North. |
Shukuakukobambi:Does it matter where they come from? All lives matter. People shouldn't die like this. Period. |
Propropro:A Presidential jet would do the job timeously, wiseman. |
shellman:Good. I will mention a few. 1. Selective and discriminative retirement of Southerners. I worked in a Federal establishment for some years before going to the University. People were sacked there to pave way for northerners. And thry came in droves. 2. Ghana must go. 3. He banned importation, closed borders, raised custom duties. And people to had to queue and buy soap and beverages. Many died on those queues. 4. He had some politicians from the south west to be investigated over and over again to find fault. 5. During currency change when the borders were closed, he allowed the Emir of Muri to come in with 53 suitcases. He was the father of his ADC. 6. He named Tunde Idiagbon a fellow muslim and fellow northerner, though a Yoruba, as his deputy. No Nigerian leader has ever done that. Then, the cry was that politicians were corrupt. He brought his own form of corruption, nepotism, tribalism and cronyism, as he is doing again. |
Ayatullah:Your opening paragraph is a disaster. One that makes me ask how old you were in 1986. No offense intended. If you were grown up then and read magazines you wouldn't have stated that Newswatch was a magazine of no repute. It was the best magazine of that era. It had four of the best columnists of the time. Late Dele Giwa, Dan Agbese, Soji Omotunde and Yakubu Mohammed. So much so that Dele Giwa was killed with a letter bomb. Corruption was very high under Jonathan, but the economy was stable and Nigeria was a foreign investment destination. Unfortunately this is no longer true. Haba. |
prof12:DUMP? Your foot in your mouth. We know who is dumb now, don't we? |
ImtiazNupe:The guideline of posting forbids deliberate. words of provocation. Moderator, this is exactly what this poster has done. People like him stoke embers of discord in this country. He should be sanctioned. |
TheGoodJoe:Have they performed? If the foundation is bad everything following will be bad too. |
TheGoodJoe:The President is in clear breach of the Nigerian constitution, an impeachable offence. As correctly cited in The Punch editorial. By the way, everyone seems to expect too much from this unrepentant nepotist. First time around, he appointed Tunde Idiagbon a fellow northerner and muslim, albeit a Yoruba as Chief of Staff Supreme Headquarters. His deputy. No other Nigerian Head of State has ever done that. |
sexyedjutto:y Try www.coolicool.com. I bought my Oukitel K6000 Pro from them in May. |
rottennaija:The 2m dollars refers to the property in the US which has been sold. These pictures show the ones in Abuja. Why are you trying to be wise by half? |
DrWise:Those of you supporting the trial of these people do not understand. It is wrong for the executive to interfere in the affairs of the parliament. People like Professor Nwabueze, the foremost constitutional Lawyer in Nigeria has said this. Stop playing politics with everything. The developed countries, are such because they respect basic ground rules. We should not support something that is wrong because we like or do not like somebody. The parliament may choose not to have rules even. And there is supposed to be parliamentary immunity. |
GistMeInfo:End of story. All those who swear by Samsung take note. |
Can a Tiger give up its tigritude or change its spots? No. Buhari cannot change. That is the irony. The leader of the purported change is an iron clad unbending individual. How can he midwife change? The discerning who saw his first outing are not surprised. Before condemning Buhari bear one thing in mind. A Hausa-Fulani Muslim is first and foremost a Muslim before anything else. Then follows his family, town LGA and then State. In every situation, Nigeria is the last in the consideration of these people. This is why Obasanjo is more patriotic than all the Hausa-Fulani leaders we have had. He had no qualms appointing an Hausa Fulani as his security adviser. Added to the foregoing, is the fact that Buhari was the leader of MIYETTI ALLAH the Cattle rearers association before his election. What do you expect? That he will take down his own people? Tall dream. |

lepagawu:My Oukitel K6000 Pro was delivered on 1st June. I own an iPhone 4S that is is on iOS 9.3.2 which is the latest and I can tell you that the camera of the Oukitel is better. And the phone is much better now after the June update. I recommend it. |
gboss4sure:A measure of Garri called Kongo in the Southwest and Mudu in the north was 70 Naira before the inception of this government. Now it is 220. A bag of rice was 8,000 now it is 19,000. Kerosene was 450 now it is 1,100. I don't have to be a hater of APC to know these. This govt. so far is a failure. This is a repeat of 1984-85 when dozens of Nigerians died queuing for "essential" commodities. |
notoriousbabe:How does that help you? Childish and inflamatory. |
Mods didn't waste any 2nd but pushed to FP because it is anti-GEJ... Does the pix the man himself posted look like a pix with a fight? Anyways GEJ now dreads afonjas. They can't be trusted! Ask Buhari about Tinubu
