Problem not solved. I reinstalled and ran into same into same issue.

Hello everyone, I need assistance. I just installed Ubuntu Raring and tried to update. After everything had been downloaded, I was to Ok a font EULA then it got stuck. I was at this point for almost an hour. I could not exit from APT-GET. The process is still stuck there. The terminal reads: E dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg-- configure -a' to correct the problem. I don't know how to proceed. Please help. Thanks.

Go to www.4shared.com and download Huawei.modem unlocker 5.7.7. Then go tp www.myusbmodem.com Download the software first. The link at the site will direct hou to the newest version which is not what you need. Just follow the laid out ptocedures.

I use the same modem. In fact, I have been using it since April 2010 without any problem. I use it mainly with MTN, except in Sierra Leone where I use it with Airtel. For about four days now I cannot use it in Windows 7 & 8. But it works in Ubuntu. It is unlocked but the firmware has not been , upgraded. I am thinking of just buying a universal modem.

There is an application called TIMESTOPPER. The latest is version 4. Downloading is a real problem, CNET DOWNLOADS is your best bet. I don't like the site because they send you on merry go round. The other sites will unleash spywares at you. No problem if you instal SUPER ANTISPYWARE from www.majorgeeks.com. Installation is simple if you have any problems let me know.

I agree with you entirely, W8 is better than W7 in most ways. People are bogged down into W7 and/or carried away by the negative press. I collect and try OS', but found that I like W8 as it is. With W7 I was always looking for fonts tweaks and third party applications. Dualbooting has made the differences stark. It is like moving from digital colour (W8) to black and white colour (W7). I am going to uninstall W7 and replace it permanently with Ubuntu and run W7 in V-Box.

I have used W7 for sometime. I tried W8 preview and then installed it in virtual box. Personally I think that W8 is an improvement on W7. Its GUI is better than that of W7. It is faster and easier to use. It is like W7 once you got past the logon screen. A lot of people are still bogged down with W7 or are intimidated by the Metro?. Experience in W7 will help a lot in using W8, but do not expect things to be done that way. Google Windows 8.

I will advice you download and install SUPER ANTISPYWARE free version from www.majorgeeks.com. The software will take care of all the malwares and trackers that will enter your system from those sites.

Sorry, I didn't make things clear. The first part of the post deals with formatting a USb. The second part deals with situations where a drive or USB is not recognized by W7.

Please get Hirens Boot CD. Or better Google Hiren and go to the web page, he has a small utility called USB Format. It is about 150 kb. After downloading it run it as Administrator.
I have not been able to get the root of this complaint. I am supposing that it is nonrecognition of a USB device. If this is , correct , try this. Go to Control panel and type in Troubleshooter into search box. Under HARDWARE & SOUND, click CONFIGURE A DEVICE. You might to do this a couple of times. I had this problem for three weeks with my external hard drive. It was being recognized by Windows 8 and Ubuntu, but W7 could not recognize it because it was disabled(Virus?).

Do you know that the N7 regenerates its power? Try this. When the battery is at 50%, switch off the phone for at least two minutes. When you switch it back on, the battery level will be at least 55%. Do this only three or four times a day with long intervals.

Try this trick on both batteries. Allow them to drop to zero level. Then charge up to 100%.
