So what do they do at postgraduate studies?

Research work, specialization etc. A good graduating grade at Bachelors level can earn one admission straight up into a doctorate program of 5-7 years in some U.S Universities, skipping the requirement for Masters first as all will be covered in the doctorate program.

For the sake of cost, I am looking out for the program at the Bachelors level in a Nigerian Federal University.

It is an enriching experience studying Counseling Psychology at the Bachelors level just as it here in Kenya. By the time one is in their final year, he/she can start working and earning income.

The minimum certified counselors earn hourly for therapy is $15 in Kenya.

Psychology in delsu is under the faculty of social sciences while Guidance and counselling is under education

Most Nigerian Universities are offering Guidance and Counseling at the undergraduate level then Counseling Psychology at the Post graduate level.
