the problem seems to be dat of getting d accurate know-how in buildin it. Even d so called experts are learner here. And wen u finally get the experts, its either they are too costly or they play politics with the knowledge
The expertise is lacking. There is this Kenyan who l call King of biogas and two days ago he made a presentation at the World Energy Engineering Congress in Washington, United States and he owns the biogas centre l visit in Nairobi. His systems are patented and very efficient and have been deployed in different countries in Africa and Asia. The guy is an encyclopaedia!

His systems for household and commercial use are feed with cow and poultry wastes, vegetable and fruit wastes

The picture are his systems, the one the guy is feeding waste into is exactly the type that he installed at a project l work with.

Funny enough at the centre the gas is always left to waste because they are generating more gas than they need! cheesy

"However, I will not be surprised if this is just another episode from the propaganda playbook of the Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC"........This insinuated that the incident may not be true.

we buy. If u cut down trees, then u wuld ave to wait a month for it to dry if not it will b smokey and disturb d fryers
I have personal experience in garri frying and whenever am at the biogas centre here in Nairobi, l always think of those women frying it as l know the cassava peels and other biodegradable wastes abundant in the rural areas can conveniently supply them with enough gas to heat up their frying pans thus eliminating firewood and its smoke.....someday it will be possible.

PoliticsRe: See Where We Need You, Lagos Residents Tell Ambode by Pavore9: 6:30am On Sep 24, 2016
49cents:
I love Ambode but why is the state government doing LG roadshuh?

The LGs must be allowed to be free from the SG's stranglehood and then we will see rapid infrastructural development!!

Africans and their hold on power is so bad,.....imagine if PDP, Accord and Kowa have just a local government each where they collect Land Use charges and taxes for their LG then you will see competition among LGs with the beneficiaries being the people....
Social media activism will make more impact. Let people upload pictures, tweet and re-tweet poor infrastructures in their localities and ask how much is accruing to their local government areas monthly!

However, I will not be surprised if this is just another episode from the propaganda playbook of the Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC just as they did for Saraki not so long ago and NOTHING came out of it.

I hold no brief for anyone as no political party is a source of my sustenance! I have never invested my emotions in defending any politician over allegations of corruption irrespective of political affiliation and my posts history shows that.

This link shows there are Nigerians who watched the lawyer live on Channels TV.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Could Have Given $20m To Patience, Says Lawyer by Pavore9: 4:47am On Sep 24, 2016
A self-professed solicitor to Dame Patience Jonathan, Mr. Charles Ogboli, says the $20m found in the five accounts traced to Patience could have been given to her by her husband, former President Goodluck Jonathan.

"When asked where Patience could have got the money from, the lawyer said $20m (N8bn) was not too much for a woman whose husband served as a deputy governor, governor, Vice-President and President within a period of 16 years".

"sometimes in 2013, instructed the then Special Adviser to the President on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa, to open domiciliary accounts for herself and her late mother".

“Her personal name was on first card while the other two cards had her mother’s name. Her mother used two of the accounts for business. The fact is that the names on the cards were supposed to be the names of her mother and herself."

ThunderingHooves:
They are wasting their potential. And with the war on terror being ever more serious by the day, their chances of re entry becomes ever slimmer. Oga @Pavore9 it just occurred to me, these young fellows could be useful in agricultural IT instead of trying to go far from home to do IT fraud as i suspect they were doing . They can build themselves and build Nigeria with their skills.
I have grown tired from advising them so l don't bother myself anymore! angry
TravelRe: 17 Nigerians Arrested In Nairobi For Being In Kenya Illegally by Pavore9: 6:24pm On Sep 23, 2016
ThunderingHooves:
It appears the arrested group thought they would simply just appear and blend in seamlessly. They didn't contend with their very noticeable accents, lifestyle, loudness, and all other "other worldliness" they were very busy displaying. The same way a ordinary kenyan would be bamboozled by a simple greeting like "how de body" in Nigeria, is the same way they might have been nabbed here when asked "niaje", where both salutations refer to your health or well being as a greeting. And am told walking styles are different too!!!
Am not if the law, so let the law enforcers do their thing, and release them if innocent. It is sad when energetic young men scour the globe and think the law doesn't exist everywhere. Their energy, youth and prospects are wasted.
As long they were found with laptops and going by previous similar incidents they have 1% chance of being innocent. They will be deported but will still find their way back! cheesy cheesy

EternalTruths:
Create more LGAs that should depend entirely on their resources and not ND oil.
I do not support the creation of more local governments because it just increases the cost of running government with no commensurate productivity! The present structure of local government administration makes them puppets in the hands of the Governors!

What will you then say about Borgu LGA in Niger State that is 11,267 sq km and more than Anambra and Imo combined! cheesy cheesy
