Things are really rough, groaning or not the reality still stares at us. I am presently encouraging some relatives to relocate from Lagos back to the village and they should not see it as a move backwards but a move to leap forward as there is no point struggling to pay the N400K house rent and continually struggle with meeting up with other basic needs.

I intend supporting them in going into Agriculture and far from the level practised in the village. To be in the village and earning an average of N250k monthly is far better than being choked up in the urban areas, innovative knowledge is the game changer.

Communities need to make effort to follow up contracts awarded to uplift their communities. It should not end up at flagging off the project but vigilance should be the keyword and with easy access to social media we can be uploading the progress of work regarding such projects thus making the contractors and the awarding government agencies know that they can not lie that the project is on-going if in truth nothing is going on there!

You need to source for varieties that will yield bigger head weight. These two attached yields more head weight.

Stereotype-based beliefs cages the mind. Nigeria is so blessed with possibilities but some have conditioned their minds to be blind to them!

This demo farm proves it is possible and can be scaled up.

@hybridveggies, which variety did you grow? There are varieties that gives a head weight of 4kg and above.
