Packaged rabbit sausages ready for sale. A kilo sells for $8.

A recent edition of Smart Farm(a Kenyan Agric TV programme) on rabbit rearing and its value addition was aired. Showing a rabbit farmer and another entrepreneur who owns Rabbit Republic, that is into value addition of rabbit meat into sausages.

Nothing goes to waste as a litre of rabbit urine sells for $1.

As someone on ground, how many months salaries are the workers being owed?

My writing skill has not been affected by social media and sms as l easily tilt my mind to write pages as l do to a text message. Foundation do matter a lot as l did acquire a good handwriting skill in primary school from intense lessons in handwriting and in wanting to see how nice my handwriting looks. l developed the love for writing. I always have a pen around me as l write a lot.

Fencing? That is no way realistic going by cost and land distribution pattern in rural areas as people inherit land spread in different locations.

The owners of the cattle and their herdsmen should be educated on the benefits of rearing their herd in a fixed location as it is less stresful to the cows and with proper management it would produce more milk, their dung would a continuous source of biogas for cooking and electricity generation while the slurry serves as organic fertilizer that would be sold to farmers. There is so much to gain in being fixed, if the knowledge is there.
