The Catholic Church does not recognize him as a Priest. “The Catholic Church in Imo has distanced itself from Reverend Father Modestus Chilaka who claims to be a priest of the Catholic Church of the East. The Church told Sunday Sun that Reverend Father Modestus Chilaka is neither a member of the Catholic Church nor a priest of the church and that the people should not be deceived. According to the Director of Social Communication of the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri, Reverend Father George Nwachukwu, “what we know very well is that Modestus Chilaka is not a priest and even the Archbishop who came to ordain him from America came to us saying that he wants to become a Catholic. So the Catholic Province of Owerri does not recognize him and his church as part of the Roman Catholic Church.” He said, “the young man (Chilaka Modestus) wants to be a Catholic Priest by all means but he has a bad reputation already by the things he has been doing.” Father Nwachukwu further revealed that even the Vatican has also distanced itself from the activities of the Catholic Church of the East because what they are doing is not in line with the dogmas, doctrines and teachings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. “ So as far as the Catholic Church in the state is concerned, he is not a Catholic priest either by ordination or by training and we want the entire people of the state to take note of that, besides, their training as priests is suspect,” Father Nwachukwu stressed.” http://sunnewsonline.com/new/catholic-church-east-gets-first-nigerian-priest/ |

likila:In your closed mind you think everyone lives off from freebies! What has it taken off from you to now post the link? You need to know it is a standard practice to post the link(s) of where one copied stories from so it can be referenced! |
talktimi:Skipped my view! What a shame and waste of resources. If it was locally grown in Edo which l know has the resources to cultivate rice, the money paid to foreigners for the import would have boosted Edo's economy as local farmers and local farmhands would have made gains from it! |
Though l do not support such but would love to know if the rice is locally produced. |
likila:Then post the url link of the page you copied it from. |
While some made us believe that by arresting him, Nigeria had played into their hands as it was part of the grand scheme. |

Lagos 13.4 million? OP, which year was this data compiled? |
Austin4lif:Our Lady of Lourdes, is certainly a Catholic school, so the OP would certainly not fit in. He will not feel comfortable with a Catholic based educational system so they saved him the incontinence. |
More money for them. |

harjayi:I am fully aware of what l am saying. We are so sucked up into believing that we cannot survive without oil. Kenya have discovered oil few years ago and have not even began production nor eager to rely on it because just like their President said they don't want to make the same mistake Nigeria made, She found oil and ignored other things! A litre of petrol for over the years sold for N224 in Kenya till last year when it came down to N180 but the transport fare in Kenya is far cheaper in comparison to Nigeria that sells under N100 per litre, this you can verify from any Nigerian living in Kenya. Domestic flight is also cheap, the same flight duration between Lagos and Abuja that is above N20,000 in Nigeria goes for N8,000 in Kenya and Nigeria happens to a oil producing Country! Do you know how many billions of dollars Kenya earns from tourism and agriculture? 75% of Rose flowers sold in Europe is from Kenya and every night different airlines depart with cargoes of fruits, vegetables and flowers from Kenya heading to Europe to be sold in markets across Europe the next day. Nigerians go to Europe to buy the same flowers Kenya exported there! Nigeria will NEVER die because of the fall in price of oil rather the crash will wake her up! |
Congrats to the family. |

Lay-offs goes with acquisitions, affected staff should make good use of their severance package. |
ijames:I do not know if the cultivation is being domesticated. You really need to go in search of its seedlings in the rural areas. I know Cameroon do export it to Nigeria, Europe and North America. |
