“Six feet, my brother, not an inch more nor less. In the grave, all men are equal.”.... This should guide our journey through life. |

witorwitoutyou:A huge difference because no Catholic Nun has blown herself up wearing her habit (dressing) nor any female religious order in the Catholic Church have their faces fully covered like the one the OP attached. |
Duru1:We have far smaller areas that exists as a Country today. The land for agricultural activities is not a UN's requirement for self-determination but l brought it up within the context of self-sustaining food-wise to an extent. The person l quoted gave off the impression that we in the South East are presently doing well agriculturally which l disproved. Let me cite 2 two examples around when l was involved in agro projects in Anambra and Enugu. There was a rice project which was FG sponsored from which Anambra was given a variety of rice for multiplication so the local farmers will be growing the rice variety that takes only 3 months to harvest, disease and flood-resistant. They left the tonnes of the rice paddy to waste away at the state ministry of agriculture store in Awka, some workers were even taking it to go and parboil, de-husk and sell the read to eat rice in the market, the rice that was suppose to be multiplied to create better harvest and more income for the local farmers. There was a time the FG had tractors distributed to every state in the Country, we went to Enugu State Ministry of Agriculture to go hire the tractors but we couldn't get because most of them have been hired out to farmers in BENUE STATE! ![]() |
Senegal, Niger Republic that are predominantly moslem took their stand against it for the sake of security but Prof. Ishaq Akintola is here ranting...smh! |
A sad truth. |
Educationally, l do not really know what is on ground in Imo State. |
Mrbigman1:Telling someone he will certainly get burnt if he goes near petrol with fire is not harbouring ills towards the person but stating what his action will result to. I can't pretend we don't have hoodlums on the streets, if their conscience is dead enough to loot shops in a burning market is it when people leave their shops to go protest, people who they are convinced have been insulting them You need to wake up to the reality, urchins don't get emotional when they see opportunities! |
The Nigeria Catholic community was well represented here during the Mass held earlier in the day as we have many Priests, Reverend Sisters and the laity of Nigerian descent working in Kenya. There was a huge cheer when the Pope spoke Swahili...... Mungu abariki Kenya!(God bless kenya!) We Nigerians also screamed, Mungu abariki Nigeria! ![]() |
Mrbigman1:One do not need to do that for a living to know the possible situation. Urchins worldwide cash in on such situation, during the London 2011 unrest, it started out as a peaceful protest before it descended into riots. shops were attacked and looted, it is not restricted to Africa. There are some environment that trigger urchins it is better and safer not to create one! The link below put proof to my position. http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2011/aug/07/tottenham-riots-peaceful-protest |
''Precious items are covered'' ...........but precious lives can be blown off by those hijab wearing female suicide bombers...how sickening is it that Religion has disconnected some minds from reasoning! ![]() |
Waiting for when it will happen...Just hope security will be left behind to protect the shops because it will certainly be an early Christmas for street urchins because coming back from the protest to meet an empty shop will be High Blood Pressure! ![]() |
Me self dey miss the fufu! ![]() |
